Christmas Cards - Simon Says Stamp Holy Night Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in today to share a couple cards with a beautiful NEW Limited Edition Holy Night Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp! This is such a beautiful kit - and I love how it is focused on the real reason for the season as well!

I love that huge sparkly star - and thought that little sheep looked perfect looking up at it - so I created a scene with that idea!

I die cut the star a three times from white cardstock, and one time from gold glitter cardstock. I layered and paper pieced them together, and added the top white layer with just a dot of liquid glue in the center, so I could leave the edges to float free for dimension.

I added a hill using Drifting Stitches die on white cardstock, then stamped, colored, and fussy cut out that sweet little sheep to put on the hill.

I added a gold pearl in the center of the star, and stamped my sentiment on the bottom!

Next up, I thought the Holy City Skyline stencils were super fun, so I did a light and bright card with those - instead of the expected dark night sky!

I just did one layer of the buildings, and used some soft brown ink, with yellow over the top for the windows. I added the stars in blue ink, then stamped a sentiment over the top in black.

I did a bit of ink blending around the edges with the same brown ink, just softer, to take the white edge off and soften the edges a bit.

Finished off by matting that panel with some of the gold cardstock in the kit, and some of the yellow pattern paper, before mounting on a white cardbase!
