Sweet Birthday Macarons - Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the newest June 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Sweet Birthday! This month's kit has some fantastic sweet birthday images and sentiments! The included stamp set by the same name features cupcakes and macarons and lots of fun sentiments. There is also a coordinating die, fun embossing folder, lovely pattern paper, birthday sentiment die...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelope, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

After some time I've been fortunate to visit Paris, I absolutely adore macarons! So when I saw that image on the stamp set, I knew that would be the first thing I would feature on a card! I stamped them on some of the lovely Pinkfresh Picture Perfect pattern paper in the kit, using some of the smaller and more simple patterns. I then cut each one out with the coordinating dies, and chose some more coordinating paper to add to the side of my cardbase, before stacking up the macarons along the side. I stamped a simple sentiment from the stamp set, added some sparkly Stickles along the center of each macaron, and then finished off with a few Iridescent Clear Drops for added sparkle. Here are more photos of this card:

Vines and Roses washi cards - Pinkfresh Create and Take It Cards for SSS Create

Good morning! I'm popping in to share a couple cards that I created for the Pinkfresh Create and Take it table at Simon Says Stamp Create today! If you happen to be coming - I hope you come see Lea and I, and create one of these cards to take home with you!

I used the lovely Vines and Roses washi tape, paired up with the Stitched Scallop Square die. The die is cut from white cardstock for a bit of added dimension and texture, but still keeping these cards light and bright, which helps that washi to just SHINE! Added a sentiment from the coordinating stamp set, cut out with the coordinating die that also works on the washi tape. A few Glacier jewels finish these cards off - because of the rainbow colors of this washi, any bling will work, and you will have an assortment to choose from at our table today! Here are more photos of these cards:

Baby Card Set - Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop Day 1

Good morning! I'm so excited today to be joining Day 1 of the release blog hop for the May Pretty Pink Posh release. There are lots of baby items included in this release, and I was super excited to play with all the cuteness included! Keep reading for more details on my cards, as well as hop and giveaway info at the bottom!

I needed to build my stash of baby cards a bit, so I was delighted to be able to put together a set of cards using a few of the new items, and a couple older items that paired up perfectly with them!

I started off with the new Onesie Shaker die, and cut the stitched version from several different Pinkfresh pattern papers. I then cut the tiny pattern paper hearts and stars from the same die set from alternating colors of the same pattern paper to pop up with foam adhesive on the front of each one. I die cut the second largest of the new Eyelet Squares die from white cardstock, and added sentiments at the top on each on from the new Sentiment Strips: Occasions stamp set. Then for each card, I created a background on Cream colored cardstock with the previously released Pierced Hearts and Pierced Stars coverplate dies. I layered everything up, with foam adhesive between layers, adding some texture with some jute string tied around the eyelet squares. I then finished off with a sprinkle of coordinating jewels in Raspberry, Watermelon, Cornflower, and Marigold. Here are lots of photos of these finished cards:

Fresh Citrus Background - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping by today to share a follow up to the watercolor citrus card I made recently, featuring a slightly older stamp set from Simon Says Stamp - and some pattern stamping to create a background! This used the same set, and some different images with a different color palette for a slightly different look!

I used the You Shine stamp set, and a couple different citrus images to create my background, stamping in black on watercolor paper, and turning and rotating to fill the panel. Then I smooshed a few colors of SSS Pawsitively Saturated inks on my glass mat, and used that to watercolor the images. I used a fresh citrus color combo - with yellows, greens, and pinks to mimic lemon, lime, and grapefruit! I added some white splatters with Amersterdam Titanium ink, then adhered that panel to a white cardbase. I added a sentiment over the top, stamped in black from Big and Bold, and popped up with foam adhesive. Finished off with Glacier white jewels in the centers of the citrus elements! Delighted for You - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

Hello! Today I am part of a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the new Pinkfresh Studio "Delightful" Release. There are giveaways up for grabs, so hop on over to check that out if you haven't yet! I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared a LOTS of cards for that! Today I'm sharing a a fun card I created on YouTube Live last week with Lea Lawson using similar sets but in slightly different ways! You can watch that video HERE if you want to see more details!

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

I used the new Diagonal Plaid press plate to create a dry embossed texture on my background - and in the end, used some leftover ink on that background to help the texture pop a bit more. I heat embossed the Delighted for You stamp set in Gold Pearl, then ink blended with the coordinating stencils in oranges and yellow-greens for a vintage feel before die cutting with the coordinating dies. I added a frame using Folk Edge Rectangles die cut from Ivory Glitter Cardstock, then added a sentiment from the stamp set, stamped in the same green from the leaves, and die cut using one of the banner shapes on Basic Banners die. Finished off with a few Sparkle and Shine Ombre glitter drops! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Lush Lemon background - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping by today to share a fun watercolor citrus card I made recently, featuring a slightly older stamp set from Simon Says Stamp - and some pattern stamping to create a background!

I used the You Shine stamp set, and the one large lemon image to create my background, stamping in black on watercolor paper, and turning and rotating to fill the panel. Then I smooshed a few colors of SSS Pawsitively Saturated inks on my glass mat, and used that to watercolor the images. I love the yellow and aqua together! I added some white splatters with Amersterdam Titanium ink, then adhered that panel to a white cardbase. I added a sentiment over the top, stamped in black from Big and Bold, and popped up with foam adhesive. Finished off with little trios of Glacier white jewels on each of the lemons! Here are more photos of this card:
