Wonky Layers - SSS February Card Kit

Hello there! Stopping by tonight to share a card I made using the BRAND NEW February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp: A Colorful Crafty Life! There is a darling stamp set, some lovely papers, and a host of other fun goodies including two embossing folders, some wood embellishments, a waterbrush, some Daniel Smith watercolor samples, Studio Katia Crystals, glue, and even some adorable scissors - not to mention the cardstock and envelopes!

For my card tonight, I used a bunch of the gorgeous pattern papers! I die cut them using Wonky Rectangles and layered them up, then added some white hearts cut with Wonky Hearts Dies. I added a sentiment from the stamp set, heat embossed on some of the included Slate Cardstock, and die cut with Stitched Banners Dies. Finished off with a bit of bling from the fun Studio Katia Cupid's Kiss Crystals that are included in the kit!

I adhered the pattern paper just in the centers of the panels, then used my fingers to curl up the edges a bit. This is a great way to get a bit of dimension - without a lot of bulk! I then popped the hearts and sentiment panel up on foam adhesive for a bit of extra dimension.
