Simon Says Stamp Best Days Release - Thanks Crocs

Hello! The brand new Simon Says Stamp Best Days Release is live - woohoo! Watch for a big blog hop coming soon - but in the meantime, I wanted to pop in and share a couple cards I made using some of the new release items! These cute little Picture Book Crocs are so fun! By die-cutting then from two shades of green cardstock, then piecing the reverse images together, I was able to get two cute little crocs for the price of one - so to speak!

I also used the new Big Thanks Wafer Dies with the same colors of cardstock, and reversed the colors as well for each card.

I added some background stenciling using Simon Says Stamp Zig Zag Stencil and some distress inks in two colors - for the first card I used Abandoned Coral. I also blended some of the same color on white cardstock and then die cut some hearts using Mini Hearts Wafer Dies to adhere around the cute croc.

I covered those hearts with Tonic Crystal Glaze - can you see the shine?!?!?

For the second card I used Fossilized Amber for the stenciling and hearts. I also die cut a negative circle using Simon Says Stamp Circles Nested Dies. Added a final sentiment on a thin strip of white cardstock with the new Big Thanks Words Stamp Set.

I mounted everything right on the cardbase except the large die cut word and the sentiment strip underneath. So bright and fun, right?

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
