Summer Fun - Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Good morning! Stopping by today for the monthly Reverse Confetti blog hop! This is a non-release month, so instead of showcasing new products, we are sharing projects using already released items - and there is a chance to win a $15 gift card to Reverse Confetti - check out the Reverse Confetti Blog for details on how to win!

For my card today, I pulled out some of my bright summery colors of Reverse Confetti ink and did some ink blending to create a bright and colorful background!

I started off by cutting out the Stitched Rays Cover Panel, and blending a combination of Buttercup, Tangerine, and Salsa Dye Inks - LOVE this fun color combo! So bright and summery! I added some white paint splatters for some fun texture as well.

Next, I stamped the Bike from Rollin' and die cut with the coordinating Rollin' Confetti Cuts, and the balloon and clouds from Take Flight, also die cut with the coordinating Take Flight Confetti Cuts. I colored them with Copics, and then mounted with a combination of foam adhesive and double sided tape for variation in dimension. I made the bike look like it was floating up in the sky attached to the balloon!

I used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment - this way I was able to stamp multiple times to get a nice clear impression over the texture of the die. I also added some clear glittery Nuvo Drops to the balloon and parts of the bike for a bit of sparkle. Finished off by trimming the die cut panel smaller than an A2 cardbase, matting with a thin strip of white cardstock, then mounting the entire thing on a cardbase made of Sunshine Cardstock!

Here are the Reverse Confetti products I used today - click on any image to go check it out in the Reverse Confetti Store:
