Good morning! So excited today to be hopping along with Pinkfresh Studios as we celebrate the BRAND NEW Holiday 2019 Release! This release is super fun and full of gorgeous products! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! You also might want to pop over to the Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Page at 10 AM Pacific Time this morning - I will be going LIVE featuring the new release, and there will be a gift certificate up for grabs as well!
For the blog hop today, I have a $25 gift card up for grabs here on my blog (details below) - and the ENTIRE RELEASE is up for grabs as well! See details on the Pinkfresh Blog! Pinkfresh Studio is also offering free shipping on all orders over $100 at Pinkfresh Studio Store!
I love unique color combinations for Holiday cards - and one of my favs is red and turquoise, with a touch of black thrown in for good measure as well...so I started there for my card today!
I love the way the new Merry Days Stamp set pairs up with the Merry Days Dies! So many different possibilities - but I decided to layer them together and use the cover die as a window to peek through and see all the fun images from the stamp set, heat embossed in gold on the white cardstock.
I die cut the Merry Days Die once from aqua cardstock, then two more times from white cardstock, layering them together for a nice dimensional embellishment. It's like adding a thin layer of foam adhesive, but much easier!
I layered one of the phrases from the new Classic Holiday Words Die set using red and black cardstock to make it really pop, and placed that over the front cover die. To help tie the extra color in, I stamped and heat embossed the bow from the new Season's Greetings stamp set in black on red cardstock, die cut with the Coordinating Dies, then added it to the top of the tree.
To finish tying all the colors together, I matted that front panel with a super thin strip of black cardstock, then some red, then mounted on an aqua card base. I also added a few sparkly jewels from Essentials: Jewels Mix to finish this card off! Can you see the dimension from the layered cover die?
And finally...here is a peek at the card we are going to be making on Facebook Live today - I hope you'll tune in and join me at 10 AM Pacific Time this morning! And if you don't have a Facebook account, feel free to check back here tomorrow, as I always try to post details on my blog the next day for Facebook Live cards. :)
