Good morning! Dropping by today to share a card I made last week for Pinkfresh Studio's Facebook Live. I pulled out some older sets for this card, and had fun created a wooded scene with lots of stenciling, and building a custom sentiment by combining a couple different stamp sets! I started off on a panel of white cardstock, and used just two colors of ink to stencil the background. I started lightly blending, and then just kept blending deeper as I went along. A great way to utilize your inks!
Once I had the background stenciled, I die cut it with a Blanket Stitched Slim Rectangle die, and stamped just the "restart" word from Reset stamp set directly over the stenciled background with Detail Black ink.
The secondary sentiment is from My Favorite Things to Say 2 - and I carefully curved the stamp to fit on the die cut from Reset. Clear stamps are versatile that way! I stamped and heat embossed that in white on the black background, and then die cut and popped it up with foam adhesive on the background.
I adhered that entire panel with foam on a deep green cardbase, and then finished off with a few Espresso jewels. Those are optional - and if you wanted to leave them off for a more masculine card you could. I just felt like it was still okay for a masculine card - but not too glittery with that color!
