Sweet Friend Perfume Bottle - Spellbinders

Good morning! I had a bit of spare time over the weekend, so pulled out some goodies from Spellbinders to play with - these sets were included in a previous Pinkfresh Create and Connect event, and had released individually, so I had fun pulling them out again and putting them to use! 

For this card I featured the Gorgeous You Perfume Bottle and Florals dies, as well as the Cross My Heart 3D embossing folder. I cut the bottle and florals with lots of colored cardstock, and a bit of Ivory Glitter paper as well as Honey Gold metallic cardstock. I layered everything together, and added hot foiled sentiments from Press Plate and Die set called Ideal Moments. For the background, I used the embossing folder on white cardstock, then tore a center portion out to reveal the cream cardstock underneath. Rounded off one corner, then finished off with some Dazzling Gems in Clear to embellish the centers of the flowers and along each side of the card! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Floral and Plaid Mom Cards - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

Good morning! Today I have a couple more cards to share using some more of the new You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp. These feature lots of pattern paper, a bit of die cutting, and some stamping to build a fun Mother's Day sentiment!

Not only do I love pattern paper - but I'm particularly a sucker for a good plaid! These Carta Bella papers from the That's My Boy and That's My Girl paper pads were perfect for some fun Mother's Day cards - or even just because for Mom, it doesn't have to be reserved for one day, right? I used the new Monogram stamp set, and paired with a secondary sentiment from the new Mother's Day stamp. I added some fun florals using the new Sweet Tiny Flowers die, using more pattern paper for the blooms, and white cardstock for the leaves. Finished off with a little bow from Pretty Bows die, and a few Clear Dazzling Gems for some extra sparkle! Here are more photos of these cards:

Mother's Day Critters with Plaid - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

Good morning! Today I have a couple more cards to share using some more of the new You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp. Sweet Mother's Day images and sentiments with plaid? What's not to love?!?

I love a sweet image to color, but sometimes it's so fun to leave the image simple and clean, and let it speak for itself! These little scenes from the new Love You Mama set are SOOO sweet and fun to use! I stamped them, then die cut with the new Petal Tipped Labels dies for a fun shape. I grabbed those cute frames from Big Botanicals stamp set, and stamped my sentiments in the center to die cut out. I used some Lawn Fawn plaid pattern paper, keeping it to simple monochromatic tones for each card, and layered up some of the new Ice Shimmer Vellum, tearing the edges and layer up in varying widths for some fun texture. Added some coordinating Dazzling Gems in Dusk and Lilac to finish off! Here are more photos of these finished cards:

Tulip Get Well Soon Tag - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

 Hello! I've got another project to share today using the BRAND NEW You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp - and instead of a card, I have a sweet little tag to share!

I love tulips - so I had to put this cute little image from the new I Love You a Bunch stamp set to work - and a tag seemed like the perfect place! I stamped with Copic friendly ink, then colored in with Copic markers (that have been neglected friends for far too long!). I used the adorable new Scalloped Floral Tag die, cutting the top part from Ivory glitter cardstock. I added some Ivory Faux Silk ribbon and a bit of Red Baker's Twine, a sentiment from Flowering Frame (another new stamp set), and a bit of sparkle to the blooms with Nuvo glitter drops in Blizzard! Sparkling Floral Thank You - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

Hello! The BRAND NEW You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp has just dropped, and it's full of fun goodies! I'm popping in to share my first card using the new release - and it's a sparkly card that feels like spring!

For this card I started off by die cutting the new Flower Breeze die two times from a panel of white cardstock. I then created a backdrop by trimming down strips of Gina K cardstock and adhering them to a landscape white cardbase. I popped the die cut panel over the top with the Big Momma foam adhesive for subtle dimension, and it let all that amazing color pop through the windows from the die cut! I added the sentiment from the fabulous new With Thanks set, and then went crazy with some Dazzling Gems in Dusk, Peach, Butter, and Sprout - adhering them in the centers of each of the flowers that are visible. That was really the touch that made this card complete! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Birthday Stars - Simon Says Stamp

 Good morning! I needed another masculine card for my birthday stash, and since I also happened to have some items I hadn't had a chance to use yet, this seemed like the perfect combination! I used an embossing folder from a recent release, a die set that I recently ordered, and some pattern paper - all from Simon Says Stamp! 

I started off with the Nested Stars die set, and some pattern paper from Carta Bella 6x6 Mercantile paper pad. I used Radial Dots embossing folder for the background, embossed on white cardstock, then layered the stars in a fun pattern stacked on top of each other, and letting the edges curl up freely. I wrapped some Baker's Twine around the embossed panel, then added the stars with foam adhesive. Sentiment is from Birthday Basics, and a few coordinating Dazzling Gems in Royal, Lucky, and Sunbeam finish it off! Here are more photos of this bright and happy card:
