Spring Lattice Sassy Hello - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Dropping by today to share a card using another new stencil from Simon Says Stamp! This was also released as an available add on for the May card kit - and while it is a great fit for the vintage feel of the kit, I thought it would be pretty in bright spring colors as well!

For this card, I used that lovely new Delicate Lattice stencil and blended with a pastel rainbow of inks - Bubblegum, Seafoam, Sprout, and Lemonade. I then used a Heart Stencil over the top, first with the same inks, just blended deeper (which doesn't show much in the end anyway!), then blended Moonstone glimmer paste over the top. Set this aside and gave it time to dry thoroughly. So pretty! For the sentiment, I used Fancy Hello wafer die, cut from white cardstock for the main part, then vellum for the shadow layer. I added a sassy little secondary sentiment from Hello You stamp set, and then a hefty sprinkle of Glitter Enamel Dots for sparkle! In hindsight, I could have gone less crazy with those, but it is also kind of fun, so I'm not going to worry about it too much! Haha! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Elegant Stenciled Rose Card - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Dropping by today to share a card using an AMAZING new stencil from Simon Says Stamp! This was released as an available add on for the May card kit - and fell in love with it after inking it up. Can't wait to use it LOTS more!

I stenciled the Elegant Rose stencil layers in two tones - using Butter, Zest, and Honey for the left side, then blending with Rhubarb, Apple, and Cranberry on the right side. For the leaves, I used Sprout, then came in with some Kale to hit the deeper areas and add some shadows. I trimmed the panel down, then stamped my sentiment from Thank You Basics stamp set over the top. I love how dimensional this looks - even without any actual dimension! Finished off with some Dazzling Gems in clear, and a wrap of Lawn Fawn white twine tied around the entire cardfront. Here are more photos:

Textured Stripes - Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share a couple more cards using the newest May 2025 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Beautiful and Curious! This month's kit has a great vintage feel to it! The included stamp set by the same name features some florals and collage type images (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There are some fun pattern papers, distress crayons, sentiment strips...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more! AND - there is a free embossing folder for kit subscribers that I'm featuring on today's cards!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For these cards, I used the FREE Dotted Diamonds embossing folder on some of the Steel and Ivory cardstock in the kit, then trimmed down some diagonal strips from those panels. I alternated the size and colors, and mounted them with foam on a strip of the new Ice Vellum included in the kit as well. Trimmed that down, and adhered to white cardbases. I heat embossed the butterflies from the stamp set on more of that vellum, and fussy cut them out (I don't have the dies yet!) - then attached those over the diagonal panels with a touch of liquid glue. I grabbed sentiments from the Lucky Sentiment strips in the kit, and popped those along the bottom of the diagonal strips, and then added some more stamping to the backgrounds using Buttercream ink for the floral image, and black ink for the little splatters and flourish to highlight the sentiments. Finished off with a rounded corner and some Clear Dazzling gems around the sentiments! Here are more photos of these finished cards:

Heart Smile - Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the newest May 2025 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Beautiful and Curious!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For my first card to share, I'm mostly focusing on the included stamp set, as well as those fun distress crayons! I started off by doing a little scribble of each of the 4 crayons in my kit on watercolor paper, then added some water to smooth them out to create a background. Once that dried, I grabbed the pretty floral image from the stamp set, and stamped it a few times in varying arrangements and angles over the smooshed background. I also used the little splatter image to stamp some added texture, and stamped the sentiment in the center. I finished off by adding little clusters of coordinating Dazzling Gems - while some of the colors weren't exact matches, I love they sort of adjust to the background color to match! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Awesome Bananas - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! Yesterday I posted a card from when I went live on YouTube with my crafty friend Lea Lawson using supplies from Simon Says Stamp! You can see that card posted HERE if you want more details. But during the live, there were some leftover pieces that were supposed to be highlights on the lemons that I didn't end up using. I commented during the live that they looked a bit like bananas, and I should make a card later with them. Well...I did, and this is the result! I think it came out so fun!!!

I used the highlights, leaves, and flower from the Lemon Zest die set, and after cutting from white cardstock, ink blended with ZestCabbageArtichokeWoodsy, and Melon inks with the help of the Crafty Tacky Mat. I used pattern paper from Lawn Fawn's Bitsy Blooms 6x6 paper pad to layer up that coordinated with the card. Sentiment is from All About You, and I also grabbed a couple little hearts from that set. A few Dazzling Gems in Clear finish this card off nicely! Here are more photos:
