Good morning! I'm back today to share some fun floral cards with a combination stencil/background stamp detail - using lots of supplies from Simon Says Stamp!
I started off by die cutting the lovely Bold Flower wafer die from some Spellbinders cardstock, and layering it together. I chose to keep each one monochromatic for these, but did one in more traditional floral colors, and one with a blue flower and bold yellow leaves - sometimes it's fun to mix things up just because you can! Next, I stenciled the Honeycomb stencil on each of the cardbases with Celery and Seafoam ink, adding it at an angle, and approximately the top half of the cardbase. I then lined up and stamped the Thank You Text background stamp over the top in the same color of ink, for at one on tone effect that adds some fun texture and interest! I added a sentiment with the Giggle Thank You die in gold and vellum, and a few coordinating Dazzling Gems in Sprout and Surf to finish them off! Here is a closer look at the finished set:
