Good morning! I'm super excited today to be hopping along with Altenew to help celebrate their 5th Birthday! Happy Birthday Altenew! This is a massive celebration, with 4 days of blog hops. This is Day 3, so make sure and check out the other days hops as well for even more chance to win some of the fabulous prizes!
I'm actually using some of leftovers from other cards for my card to share today!
So the background happens to be a negative from a bunch of leaves I die cut for a previous card using Garden Picks 3D Dies. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away, and added it to my pile to use later. I don't always remember to use something down the road, but this time I did! I trimmed the sides a bit and mounted it on a white cardbase. I then die cut one of the layers of the leaves to fit into the negative spaces. This gave it such a fun and unique look - I was so glad I hadn't tossed that negative piece!
I added some white and gold splatters, then stamped a sentiment from Reason to Smile on a strip of white cardstock and mounted it with foam adhesive over a twist of gold thread to finish this card off!
