Forever in My Heart - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I've got a fun artsy-fartsy style card to share today, using lots of supplies from Simon Says Stamp, and branching out a bit more from my usual style! I had lots of fun creating this card!

This card started with my trying a random technique that sounded fun! I used one of the Rounded Hearts dies to cut from a panel of white cardstock, then used that as a stencil. On a panel of plain white cardstock (not even watercolor paper), I used my Gansai Tambai watercolors through the stencil. These watercolors function a bit as a gouache paint if you use less water, so I used a slightly damp wide paint brush, and 3 different colors to swipe over the stencil I created. I ended up with a touch too much moisture, so I didn't get as clean of lines as I had hoped for. Instead of giving up, I decided to run with that messy look! So I used a fine line Sharpie and drew some lines around the outside, drawing one as close to the edges as possible, one slightly inside, and one slightly outside. Then I added some black splatter to finish off the messy look. I loved how it turned out! I used a score board to add some scored lines for extra texture (hard to see in the photo), added a frame using A2 Scalloped Rectangles, tied arounds ome black and white baker's twine, stamped a sentiment from Loving You Bouquet, and finished off with a few Lilac Dazzling gems before adhering that entire panel on a coordinating cardbase created with Concord and 9th cardstock! Watercolor Sunflower Birthday - Simon Says Stamp

 Hello! I've noticed that at the end of each month, I tend to pull out the supplies from recent Simon Says Stamp releases that I haven't gotten around to using yet. And today is no different it seems! These sunflowers are just so pretty, and were so fun to watercolor.

I stamped the beautiful Sunflower Dreams background stamp on watercolor paper in black ink, then watercolored with Gansai Tambai watercolors. I trimmed the panel down to fit my cardfront, then added some sparkle with Nuvo Moonstone glitter paste, using a small tool to kind of add little blobs on the berries, and smooth some on the centers of the sunflowers. I don't normally put it on that thick, but I kind of love the way the texture looks totally different this way! I mounted on a white cardbase, then added a sentiment from Sunflower Dance set (another cute newer one), and a secondary sentiment from an older preprinted Birthday Sentiment Strips set. Snowglobe Tags - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Mama Elephant exclusive

 Good morning! I'm back to share a set of tags using the next of the special STAMPtember collaborations throughout the month! Each collaboration is with one of your favorite companies, is limited edition, and only available while supplies last. When it's gone, it's gone! Today's special release is from Mama Elephant:

I couldn't pick an image in this cute set, so of course I stamped out 3 of them! I started off by watercoloring the images with my Gansai Tambai watercolors, then once they dried, cut them out with the coordinating dies. I thought about putting them on a card, but as I looked at them, I realized they would be perfect as tags! I die cut some tags using another STAMPtember special release, the Tim Holtz Festive Tags dies. I used fun colors of Spellbinders cardstock, then popped the images and sentiments up on the tags with foam adhesive. I added bows at the top using May Arts Faux Silk ribbon, a few Pinkfresh enamel dots, some dots with a white gel pen, and some sparkly elements with some Stickles. Spring Cards with Pretty Pink Posh - YouTube Live

 Hello! Yesterday I had the fun of doing a YouTube live with my crafty friend Lea Lawson! We streamed on Lea's YT Channel, and both used some recently released items from Pretty Pink Posh that are available at Simon Says Stamp!

I started off just planning to make the one tulip shaker card - and when I ended up with a little extra time, I put together the second card using the background that I had leftover from the first card! After the live finished, I ended up adding the Ivory Pearls to both cards, and then added the twine at the top of the second card. Watercolor Farm Scene YT Live - Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine Release

 Good afternoon! Earlier today I went live on my YouTube channel using the BRAND NEW Rain or Shine Release from Simon Says Stamp! For this live I created a cute farm scene with some simple watercoloring!

For this card I focused on the adorable new Farm Life stamp and die set from the newest release. I stamped the barn on a panel of watercolor cardstock, and lots of other elements on anther panel. I stamped with Nocturne ink, which I've found is amazing for watercolor paper, and also perfect for the watercoloring! I used my Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 24 color watercolor set - a newer one to me that has such sweet and soft spring colors! I die cut the separate images, and assembled them on my card with foam adhesive. I used a Craft Knife to cut a little slit in the wheelbarrow so the apple crate would look like it was sitting inside. Finished off with a sentiment stamped in black and die cut with the coordinating die, and then a few Simple Stories Glitter Enamel Dots sprinkled around! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Watercolor Bear Trio - Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine Release

 Good morning! I'm back with a few more cards featuring some of the adorable and BRAND NEW Rain or Shine Release from Simon Says Stamp! This trio of cards in soft pastels just says SPRING to me - and I love it!

I love simple images to watercolor - and the adorable little bears in the new Rain or Shine stamp set were PERFECT! I also had a new watercolor palette that I hadn't yet put to good use, so I enjoyed pulling it out to play as well! I stamped the images on Watercolor paper using Nocturne ink - it's perfect for nice crisp images on the textured watercolor paper! I used my Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambai 24 color set to add color to the images, keeping the colors soft and pastel. I trimmed those panels down, added a colored cardstock mat behind each image with Sage, Honey, and Creamsicle cardstock. I used the Dotty Diamonds embossing folder to emboss some vellum, then tore those pieces in half to mount on the bottom edge of my white cardbases, before popping up my watercolored panels over the top with foam adhesive. Finished off with sentiments that I stamped in that same Nocturne ink, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder before die cutting with the coordinating dies! Finished off with a bit of sparkly glitter drops added on some areas of the designs - just enough to add some subtle shimmer! Here is a closer look at all these fun cards:
