Hello! It was a busy week, and I can't believe it, but I got a card done every day for the Unity Itty Bitty a Day Facebook challenge - this is Day 5, and I am also linking this up with Friends with Flair:

I used the itty bitty Paper Play Time, inked it with watermark ink, then with yellow MFT ink, stamped on matching yellow cardstock from MFT, and heat embossed with clear powder. Punched a couple holes at the top, tied some jute twine with an October Afternoon button on, added distress ink to the edges, and attached some enamel dots to the bottom.

My pattern paper is by American Crafts, and I tucked a doily behind the front panel, before attaching with foam adhesive.

Super bright, fun, and happy! Hope your day is the same!!!

N&T Ink Splash Birthday Card

Hello! I am sharing another card over at Neat and Tangled again today! Here is what I made for today:

I had a lot of fun on this card (which means I made quite a mess! Heehee!) I used Ink Splash to stamp with Versamark ink, then embossed with clear ink - LOVE the tone on tone look it gives! I also inked the edges of the card with some coordinating distress ink. It still looked like it needed a little more something, and this is where a happy accident occurred...I sprayed on some white Mister Huey's mist, and it went on way too thick and heavy! So I blotted it off with some white computer paper. WOW! Not my intention - but LOVED the effect it gave!

I added a strip of cardstock attached with foam adhesive on which I used sentiment from Across the Card embossed in white, and added some Snow White sequins in a row along the thin strip. Finished off with a bit of Strawberry baker's twine from the Twinery. (Hint: when attaching twine diagonally on a card, add a tiny dot of glue on each edge to hold the twine in place at an angle!)

Thanks for stopping by today! If you haven't hopped along with Little Tangles yet - you might want to! Comments are open through next week, and the prize is pretty fabulous!

I am also linking this up to this weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp: Monochromatic!

Have a great day!!!

Hello! Just a quick evening post with the card I whipped out quickly tonight for Day 4 of the Unity Itty Bitty a Day Facebook challenge:

This is one of those card I wish I had stopped before I did the last thing! I loved it how it was, but just had to mess with it and add the blue Copic to the birds! Oh well...I covered it up with a bit of Stickles, and learned my lesson! :-)

I used the itty bitty My Strength & Song, Lord, some Crate Paper, a bit of washi and sequins, and a Little Inker's Rectangle Die.

Thanks for stopping by! Off to watch a movie with my hubby! Have a great evening!

Neat and Tangled Birthday Blog Hop - Giveaway!!!

Good morning! Excited this morning to be hopping along with Little Tangles and celebrating Neat and Tangled's 1st birthday one more time! If you just hopped over from Katie's blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened along, you will want to head over to the Little Tangles blog to start at the beginning! I know there is going to be tons of fun inspiration - and a beyond fabulous prize!!!

Here is my card I made to share for today's hop:

The theme of our hop is the same as the new challenge: let's eat cake! - which is open until September 1st - I hope you will play along!

For my card, I found this fun inspiration photo on Pinterest - and immediately knew what I wanted to make:

{I'm not sure where the original image is - so I can't give proper credit! Sorry!}

So, I pulled out my Sketchy Cupcakes stamp set, used my MFT ink to stamp the reverse side of each piece of the image on my watercolor paper, then blended them with a water brush. After they dried, I stamped the outlines in black ink (I used just the bottom of the plain dollop of frosting, and then rounded the edges in a little with my trusty black craft pen), and added the cute little smiley face.

I stamped the sentiment (only inking half of the second part to use the word I wanted) and stamped it double to make it a little more dark and sketchy looking. Added a couple of sequins (Pretty Pretty Pink Satin, Lemon Satin, and Ocean Breeze Satin), some jute twine, and attached to a watercolor paper cardbase with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Your next stop along the way is Mary Dawn - make sure and hop there next to see what inspiration she has waiting for you! You are going to want to leave a comment before you leave though - because look at what one lucky person is going to win:

An entire first year release collection of Neat and Tangled Stamps!!! And 2 others will win a $5 gift certificate to Neat and Tangled! All I can say is WOW!!! You have until August 24th to leave your comments - winners will be announced August 25th.

Have a great day - and fun hopping!!!

Because of the Cherry...

{{{If you are looking for my 1,001 Post and Giveaway click HERE or just scroll down}}}

Hello! Just a quick evening post with the card I whipped out quickly tonight for Day 3 of the Unity Itty Bitty a Day Facebook challenge:

I found this picture on Pinterest and used it as my inspiration:

{Can't find image credit for this one - otherwise I would share!}

I used the itty bitty Counts as Fruit, colored in a bit with Copic markers on a oval cut with a Spellbinders Die. Inked the edges of that and the card base with distress ink, and misted the background with Heidi Swapp color shine and Mister Huey's mists.

Hand trimmed my own banner for the sentiment, and added a bow with a bit of raffia from May Arts tied around.

Can't say it's my favorite ever...kind of had a long and busy day today and was just worn out. So...this is the best it was going to get! Oh well! Have a great evening!!!

your love is my anchor

Good morning! I was gone and busy all day yesterday, so I didn't have time until this morning to pop this on my blog! This is my card for the Second day of the Unity Itty Bitty a Day Facebook challenge:

I literally made this in less than 10 minutes before dashing out the door for the day - and I couldn't be happier with how it came out! Especially considering how little time I spent on it! I used the itty bitty Love is my Anchor, inked it with watermark ink, then inked over the top with dark blue PTI ink, then sprinkled on clear embossing powder and heat embossed. Did the sentiment the same way, but with black ink.

Next, I used some Faded Jeans Tim Holtz distress ink around the edges to add some depth, and then the white splotches were made by spraying with white Mister Huey's mist, then blotting several times with plain paper. I love how it gives it almost a Bokeh effect! It also makes the mist dry almost immediately - which I needed in my hurry yesterday! I finished off with a couple wraps of natural jute twine, tied in a soft bow.

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back a little later with my Day 3 card - I'm gonna be busy today trying to get a bunch of projects caught up! Make sure and stop back by tomorrow! I will be part of a blog hop with a FABULOUS prize!!!

Cupcake Craft Dash Card

{{{If you are looking for my 1,001 Post and Giveaway click HERE or just scroll down}}}

Hello! I had a few moments to craft today, so I decided to combine the Unity Itty Bitty a Day Facebook challenge with the 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge to maximize my time!

I picked my Itty Bitty stamp from the graphic for the 10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday Theme Challenge:

And I certainly didn't have any too much time left, let me tell you! DEFINITELY sweating the finish on this one! Amazing how much you fumble and drop things when you are in a hurry! I haven't tried to use Copics yet on a speed challenge...and don't know if I will try it again! Ha!

I used a Spellbinder's Nestabilities Die to cut my main frame panel, and then inked with some distress ink. I actually used two different itty bitty stamp sets. I stamped my image from "more than cupcakes", colored (quickly!) with Copics, then stamped my sentiment from "fabulous girl" with PTI ink.

Layered some My Mind's Eye cardstock together, added some self-adhesive pearls, and a few wraps of jute twine before mounting on Avery Elle Cardstock.

Thanks for swinging by! Hope you are having a fabulous evening!!!
