Thankful Owl - and Glittery Outlining

Good morning! Just a quick stop in this morning to share a fall card using a cute little image from the newest sentiment kit from Unity Stamp Company!

I also have a Quick Tip Video to share how I added a glittery outline to my image - really hard to photograph, but kind of fun in real life:

I love layering pattern paper with doilies and twine - especially on a fall card, the textures are so fun!

I also chose my Copic colors inspired by my pattern paper - a great way to ensure they match perfectly together!

Gold and Plaid Merry Christmas

Good morning! As soon as I saw the beautiful font on the Merry Christmas Stamp set from the recent Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release - I knew I had to have it! These might end up being used on my Christmas cards this year, although I certainly haven't made my mind up on that yet - even though it is fast approaching the time I need to get on it!

For this card, I heat embossed it on some of the lovely new SSS Vellum in gold, and layered it with some white cardstock and some Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Christmas paper. Finished off with some machine stitching and gold glitter washi tape - and a few white enamel dots.

You Rock My World

Good morning! Played with some more fun stuff from the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release this past weekend - I was so excited to get my hands on the fun You Matter Stamp Set and coordinating You Wafer Die - not to mention the fabulous Abstract Triangles Background Stamp! However, I was so busy with other DT work that it took me until this past weekend to actually have time to break them out and play with them! This is what I created with them:

I started off by stamping the background with Clear Embossing ink, then sprinkled on the super fun Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder - it is clear but filled with rainbow sparkles! Can you see how shiny and sparkly it is in this photo?

I blended some Cracked Pistachio Distress ink in an ombre effect from the top right corner down, then added my large word, and sentiment heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock. Also added some Glossy Accents over the "you" to make it stand out a bit more. Matted with black and mint cardstock before mounting on a white cardbase.
