Making Dreams Come True - Pinkfresh Floral Wreath

Good morning! I'm stopping by this morning to share details on a card using Pinkfresh Studio's BRAND NEW January Release! I shared a little peek at this card during the blog hop last week - and it was also one of the ones displayed at Creativation this past weekend in Phoenix, so I thought it was high time to share the details here!

This card was so fun to create - I combined two different stamp and die combos that worked so perfect together! First up, Heart and Soul Stamp set and Coordinating Dies - such a gorgeous floral set! And additionally, I used Oval Foliage Dies with the Coordinating Stamp Set. I didn't plan on using them together, it just sort of worked out that way!

This image is so easy for a bit of simple coloring - and so intricate and detailed! I used the coordinating dies to cut it out, which made it super easy.

I had die cut the Oval Foliage Wreath from a panel of white cardstock, and realized how perfectly they fit together. I did stamp the circle from the coordinating Oval Foliage Wreath Stamp set, since it felt like it needed that solid line to hold it all together. Then I mounted the floral image with foam adhesive over the top. See how the leaves on the Oval Foliage Wreath pop up a bit for some 3D effect?

I stamped my sentiment from Heart and Soul in a blue ink to coordinate with my florals, and also added a good bit of black splatters with my Licorice liquid watercolors, then finished off with a bit of jute twine tied around the florals.

Crafty Friends Stick Together - Heffy Doodle 2018 Creativation Special Stamp Set GIVEAWAY

Good morning! So - this is a SUPER old project that I made LAST year for Creativation, and even though I posted it on my Instagram, I never posted it on my blog here. And since I'm down here in Phoenix for this years show - AND, it just so happens I have a couple spares of these stamp sets still stashed at home, I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway!!!

For the base of this tag, I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Dress Up Tags Dies - I love the size of this die, and the piece to die cut for the top is super fun as well.

I stamped my images from the stamp set, and colored it up with Copics - which was nice and easy since it was such a cute little image! Finished off with some twine at the top of my tag!

Cute Critter Valentines - Simon Says Stamp Valentine Card Kit

Hello! I'm stopping by with a couple more cards I created using the stamp set from the BRAND NEW Limited Edition Simon Says Stamp Valentine Card Kit! These are completely one layer cards, thanks to the adorable big stamp set in the kit - The Sweetest - and a bit of masking, distress inking, and Copic coloring!

For these cards, I first stamped my images and sentiments from The Sweetest stamp set on white cardbases with Copic friendly ink, then stamped the images on masking paper and carefully cut them out to use as masks while i added my inking around the images.

For this first one, I used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink:

For this one I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink:

Once I added the ink and peeled off the masks, I colored the images up with Copic markers. I decided to mask first, so that if I messed up the inking I wouldn't waste the time used to color up the images.

As a final finishing touch, I added some details with a white gel pen! Just what they needed to add a bit of brightness and shine to these adorable images!

Here is a look at everything in the kit - it is jam packed! You can find it HERE:

Bear-y Best Birthday - Technique Tuesday

Good morning! I'm popping by this morning to share a card I made a little while back with a couple of the newest Technique Tuesday stamps and dies!

This little card ended up being nearly one layer. I started off by stamping the bear from the new Bobbi the Bear, and then stamping him again on masking paper, carefully fussy cutting out, then attaching over the top of the bear on my card base so I could add some ink blending behind him! I also used some tape along the bottom to mask a "ground" and added some white paint splatters before removing my mask.

I added just a touch of color to the bear with pink and gray Copic markers, then stamped, colored, and fussy cut out the gift from Love is in the Air to mount with foam so it looks like the bear is holding the gift. Finished off with that perfect sentiment stamped underneath!

Simple Valentine Gift Set - Simon Says Stamp Valentine Card Kit

Hello! I'm stopping by tonight to share a fun set of Valentine's I created using the BRAND NEW Limited Edition Simon Says Stamp Valentine Card Kit

Here is a look at everything in the kit - it is jam packed! You can find it HERE:

I used some of the adorable pre-printed Pebbles Icons, Patterned Paper, and the mini stamp set to create a sweet little set of Valentines! SOOO super fast and easy!

I trimmed down the pattern paper to slightly larger than the Neenah notecards in the kit, then adhered them to both the front and back - so that leaves space on the back to write a sweet little note! And since the pattern paper is double sided, they look cute on the back as well!

And the super cute red drawstring bag in the kit is the PERFECT size to tuck them all into! So they are easy to gift or transport! :)

I particularly love the cute sloths in the kit - can you tell based on how many of them I used? Heehee!
