Missing You Gate - Simon Says Stamp All the Feels Release

Hello! Popping by this evening with my first card to share with you using the BRAND NEW Simon Says Stamp All the Feels Release! So many fun new things in this release - but I couldn't wait to use this gorgeous new Garden Gate Die

In 2019 I made my first trips ever to Europe - and this past year or so I so wish I could have gone again. This die totally made me think of one of my favorite things over there in the countries we visited (Norway, France, Italy, and Iceland) - the gorgeous gates (there were the doors as well...but that is another story I suppose...)

I created an ink blended background using Distress Oxides in Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon, and Festive Berries. Nothing like ink blending for some relaxing fun, right?

I die cut the gate from black cardstock - I die cut it twice, and layered up just the gate portion for a bit more dimension and a sturdier layer.

Finished off with a sentiment from another of the new sets - Inside Family Messages stamp set. So many great sentiments on this one, but this simple little one was perfect. And since I was thinking of European travel when I made this card, it was even more fitting! :)

Make sure and check out the new release HERE!

Happy Anniversary - Spellbinders Hot Foiling

Good morning! I have still been having tons of fun with my Glimmer Hot Foil machine, and today I have a card to share using some more hot foil supplies I recently received from Spellbinders - including one of the Essential Duo Lines Glimmer Hot Foil plates in Oval. I also received a roll of a newer color of hot foil called Lavender Petal - and since I recently ordered a bunch of cardstock from Spellbinders, I figured I would go all out with the purples to create my card - and also included some Yana's Blooming Birthday Collection that I shared some projects with recently.

I started off by using some gorgeous Royal Amethyst cardstock to hot foil the Glimmering Peony plate with the Lavender Petals hot foil - adding it twice so that there was one image in each corner of that panel of cardstock.

Next, I used Purple Mist cardstock to hot foil two of the Essentials Duo Lines Ovals on, die cutting with the the Nestabilities Essential Ovals Etched Dies that complement this set just perfectly.

I added a sentiment with Yana's Special Sentiments, same foil, but on white cardstock - then die cut with the coordinating dies. Added some coordinating jewels and a sheer white bow, then mounted everything together using lots of foam adhesive between all the layers!

Love You More Slimline Butterfly - Simon Says Stamp April 2021 Card Kit

Good morning! I'm back today to share another card using the BRAND NEW April 2021 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Friendly Flowers! This kit is the perfect floral menagerie! The included stamp set by the same name some lovely sentiments and gorgeous floral images, there is some BEAUTIFUL pattern papersweet stickers - that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

This row of butterflies on one of the pattern papers was just SCREAMING to be made into a slimline card - after I made this card, I noticed a few other designers had a similar idea, so it really must be perfect for this design!

I trimmed the row of butterflies from the pattern paper for this - then turned it over and used the reverse to mat that panel, trimming it down slightly. I curled up the edges of both pieces of cardstock for some texture, and mounted it with foam on a white 4x9 slimline cardbase.

Embellished with a few coordinating heart stickers from the kit, and one of the sentiment stickers from the kit as well - also popping that up on a bit of foam adhesive.

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can find all the details HERE:

Floral Washi with Parchment Paper - Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live Cards

Good morning! Dropping by today to share a few cards I made last week for Pinkfresh Studio's Facebook Live! I used some of the beautiful new washi tape on vellum for a different look, and paired it up with the coordinating stamped images from the stamp set. I also have a bonus card at the bottom that I made with some leftover bits and pieces! You can watch the replay HERE if you want to see more details.

This week's live was focused on using the gorgeous new washi's from Pinkfresh Studio with Parchment paper and the coordinating dies - that way you can have them die cut, and just peel and stick as you wish on whatever project you are working on. I had some partially finished pieces on hand before the live, so we put together a total of 4 cards on the live! So fun!

These first two cards use the big beautiful wreath, as well as all the smaller elements included in the Painted Peony washi. Both have sentiments heat embossed in gold on a strip of vellum to wrap around the back of the panels that are die cut with Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles. The bottom one also has another of the wreaths layered with foam tape over it - it was one I had leftover from a previous project where it was placed on white cardstock and then die cut. The sentiment on that card is from My Favorite Things to Say 2. And of course a nice dose of Essentials: Jewels on these two cards as well!

The second cards use the larger floral bloom from this set, placed on a panel of white cardstock after die cutting, then die cut with the plain rectangle from the same Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles used on the last cards. Sentiments for these are stamped with Detail Black ink, and a few sparkly Essentials: Crystals finish these two cards off!

Floral Note Card Set - Simon Says Stamp April 2021 Card Kit

Hello! I'm here today to share my first cards with the BRAND NEW April 2021 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Friendly Flowers! This kit is the perfect floral menagerie! The included stamp set by the same name some lovely sentiments and gorgeous floral images, there is some BEAUTIFUL pattern paper, sweet stickers - that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

I'm starting off sharing this set of 6 cards that I was able to put together in no time at all thanks to the gorgeous elements in this kit!

For each of these cards I trimmed up some of the pattern papers - love those perfect panels for note cards! I matted each one with some more of the pattern paper - then mounted with foam on white cardbases that I had first stamped with the large floral image from the stamp set on one side - just to add a bit of interest. I also added a bit to most of the cards with some of the stickers included in the kit.

Here is a closer look at each of the cards - some of the stickers I mounted with foam adhesive for some extra dimension as well:

I think there is a great mix of sentiments in this preprinted panels as well - so perfect for creating this set of notecards!

Joyful Bouquet Two Ways - Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live Cards

Good morning! Dropping by today to share a couple cards I made last week for Pinkfresh Studio's Facebook Live! I used some of the beautiful new washi tape on vellum for a different look, and paired it up with the coordinating stamped images from the stamp set. I also have a bonus card at the bottom that I made with some leftover bits and pieces! You can watch the replay HERE if you want to see more details.

I love the gorgeous Joyful Bouquet set - the colors and blooms are just so pretty! And mounting it on vellum before die cutting with the coordinating dies gives it a very different and lovely look - more transparent and unique.

For this cute square card, I heat embossed the stamp set in gold on white cardstock and cut it out, then alternated those pieces with the washi pieces on a die cut circle to create a wreath. I added a sentiment heat embossed in white on a frame cut with Fancy Label Frames, and mounted it all on a cream colored card base. Finished off with a few sparkly Crystals.

The slimline version uses the lovely Slimline Diagonal Stitched plaid - with a section trimmed out of the center, and the larger blooms mounted on opposite sides. Sentiment is from Indigo Vines stamp set heat embossed in white on a soft green panel die cut with Basic Label Frames - mounted behind the plaid panels, it looks like a circle. A few Sparkly jewels finish this card off.

One of my favorite combinations of cardstock is white and ivory - love the subtle contrast and soft variation it gives.

And I really love this washi on vellum - did I mention that before? :)

I had some extra blooms leftover from a different project - these ones were just mounted on white cardstock instead of vellum, but I thought I'd put together another card with a similar look and layout as the one above.

I used the same Slimline Diagonal Stitched Plaid for the background, but this time I didn't cut a portion out of the center.

Sentiment is the same as above, and is on the exact same label frame - but this time I mounted it over the front. I mounted the main part of the floral bouquets on foam adhesive, then tucked the stems under the sentiment, attaching it down in each side, but leaving it loose to float up a bit in the center.

Finished off - as always! - with a few sparkly jewels on this one as well!
