Mother's Day Cards for Mom and Mom-in-law...

Good morning! I didn't want to post these before Mother's Day, and take a chance on someone seeing them that shouldn't have! But here are the cards I made for my Mom, and my husbands Mom. The first one is for my Mom - she LOVES sheep, could you tell? And my Mom-in-law is particularly fond of flowers! I am also entering this in the Thankful Thursday Challenge over at Crazy About Cricut: Mother's Day Theme.

I used Spring Holiday Cards cartridge for both of these cards, and a sentiment from Emma's My Creative Time stamps. Added some sheer ribbon to the first one, some crinkle ribbon to the second one, and LOTS of faux stitching. The flowers also have a Peachy Face added to them!

My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day Challenges #2, #7, #8, and #9

If you are looking for the Thanks Mom Blog Hop, just click on the name to go check it out. You still have through today to enter for a chance to win my little giveaway of some of my favorite things!

This past Saturday was National Scrapbook Day, but since I was busy for the majority of the day, and then it was Mother's Day, I wasn't able to participate in all of the things I wanted to, so I am trying to play catch up today. Since I have been neglecting my scrapbooking lately, I tried to take the opportunity to use the challenges to challenge me to get back to some scrapbooking - which is what I started with to begin with!

I am also linking this up with the Patches of Pink Link-up Party!

This is a long post - I apologize! This first 2 pages is for My Pink Stamper's #2 Challenge: Make a card of layout with Kraft Cardstock. I made a 2 page layout. The first page used Elegant Edges - my newest and long awaited cartridge! I can tell I'm going to love this one! Also used some chipboard stickers I had in my stash, and lots of doodling. The second page just used a bunch of Echo Park stickers, a Martha Stewart edge punch, some letter stamps from Unity Stamp Co. and a couple of Peachy Faces.

The next challenge was My Pink Stampers Challenge #7: Make a Scrapbook page. I did a page of my husband and I taking off to celebrate our 10th Anniversary! Basic Grey Papers and coordinating stickers.

Next was My Pink Stamper's Challenge #8: Make a Summer Themed Layout. This is also a two page layout of my two daughters playing with the puppy we had for a few weeks! I used Echo Park Paper, and the coordinating stickers for this one. I LOVE how summery this looks!

And...the last one I got done was My Pink Stamper's Challenge #9: Use glitz, glam, and glitter. This is a simple one of my two girls playing in the yard, and I used a blinged out title. I am so lucky and blessed to have my daughters be such good friends!

All righty...that's all for now! I'll see if I have time to get a few more done - but wanted to get these submitted before it was too late! All of these were supposed to be done in under an hour, and I'm happy to say that I managed to EASILY achieve that! I kept them simple, and had most of them done in under 1/2 hour!

Mother's Day Card for my "Stisters"

If you are looking for the Thanks Mom Blog Hop, just click on the name to go check it out. You still have through today to enter for a chance to win my little giveaway of some of my favorite things!

Kind of a joke around our house -  my two daughters refer to each other as "stisters" - so I kind of find myself picking up the same habit! Anyway, I didn't want to show these until after I had given them to my wonderful sister and sisters-in-law, so that is why they are here AFTER Mother's Day!

I used a heart stamp that I got in my random Unity Stamps I won from Friends with Flair. The sentiment is from Emma's stamps set called Mom You Rock. I added some coordinating Baker's Twine to each one, along with a black button. The corners were rounded with a Martha Stewart corner rounder. I was so excited to find I had envelopes in my stash that PERFECTLY matched all the colors I had stamped on each card!!!

Thanks for looking! I will post a little later this week with the cards I gave my Grandma, Mom, and Mother-in-law!

Recipe scrapbook page...

If you're looking for the Thanks Mom Blog Hop - click HERE, or scroll down one post.

In honor of National Scrapbook Day, Unity Stamp Company is having a Recipe Page Challenge. Click HERE to read all the details! It took me a bit to think of something, but then I realized that my husband had just made THESE last night - and it is one of our VERY favorite snack foods! So healthy too...other than the chocolate chips in them, there is only 2 tablespoons of honey in the whole thing! So I can give these to my kids ANYTIME - and have absolutely NO guilt!!! The second picture shows a close up of the recipe - in case you want to give them a try!

Thanks Mom Blog Hop!!!

Welcome to the THANKS MOM BLOG HOP. Thanks for joining us to enjoy all the wonderful crafty inspiration in honor of mother's everywhere from the talented designers in this hop.

You should have arrived here from Robin. If you missed the beginning of the hop, please go back to the start of the hop at
Debbie to start so you don't miss any of the projects. There is a Grand Prize Blog Candy offered so you want to start at the beginning and read how to participate to win. I have listed the entire line-up for you at the end in case you get lost!

For my project, I made a Mother's Day card. I used Lacey Labels for the shaped card, welded on my Gypsy, and all the other background shapes. The cute critter is from Birthday Bash with a Peachy Keen Face from the Wide Eyed and Bushy-tailed assortment. I put him on an Action Wobble - just LOVE those things! I had to add an oval shape on the back of him to have a large enough shape to attach the Wobble without it showing. Did lots and lots of doodling, and finished off with a sentiment from Emma's stamp set called Mom You Rock. The music note is also from Emma's stamps, but came from Wow! So Many Candles.

So to thank you for stopping by, I thought I would giveaway a little bundle of some of my favorite things. There is an assortment of all 11 colors of twine from The Twinery (either 2 or 3 yards...can't remmber exactly how much I cut off!), a bottle of Glossy Accents, 3 Action Wobbles, some stick on pearls, and a clear stamp border set. Just leave me a comment with a way to reach you, and I will draw a winner on Tuesday May 10th!!!

Unity Stamps Friends with Flair!!!

So...totally made my week to find out I won 25 free random stamps from Unity Stamps in last weeks Friends with Flair...so the minute these came in the mail, I had to ink them up!!! This is the first one I made...LOVE new stamps to play with!!! Super simple, super springy, and super true! I might not always like where I am, but I know that the Lord is guiding my footsteps each and every day, and I am right where he wants me...so I choose to sing in the rain...and sing in the sunshine...because there is beauty in each one! Have a blessed day!
