Now - onto a card I have to share with you using some of the beautiful products in this new release!

For this card I used the stunning new Essentials: Pretty Frames 2 Die Set - this is a phenomenal die that with one pass through the die machine cuts a whole bunch of frames that can be used together or separately! I die cut it from some sparkly gold glitter cardstock and used two of the layers on this card.

I tucked some pattern paper behind it from the Everyday Musings 6x6 Paper pad, and used a Cornflower Blue cardbase to coordinate. I popped the outer frame up with foam adhesive, and glued the center one directly on my pattern paper.

For the sentiment, I used one of the previous Essentials releases - Classic Words Dies. I die cut the outline layer from vellum to help it pop, but still stay soft, and then the main layer from some Salsa cardstock.

Added a tiny heat embossed sentiment from You've Got This, and a few of the white jewels from the new Essentials: Jewels Mix - a super fun, sparkly, and versatile embellishment!

I also have this card I will be sharing on a SPECIAL Release Day FACEBOOK LIVE at 10 AM Pacific time this morning, May 20, 2019. Make sure and hop over HERE to check that out if you are free - we always have lots of fun chatting, and do a gift certificate giveaway as well!

You Got This Poppies - Simon Says Stamp and Memory Box

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a pair of simple sympathy cards combining a lovely Memory Box Die that I received in a bundle of products recently with a fun sentiment from an encouraging Simon Says Stamp Stamp CZ Designs's stamp set called You Got This!

I did some multiple layers for this - first cutting the lovely Garden Poppy Sidekick Frame Die from kraft paper, and coloring the flowers with Copic markers. This gives a nice muted tone to the colors. I then die cut it again from white, trimmed out the flowers from the center, and adhered the white frame I created over the kraft part. This makes it all pop so well!

Next, I trimmed some white glitter cardstock to fit behind the floral part of the frame to add some texture behind the flowers.

I left the opening available, then was able to stamp through that to add my sentiment on my white cardbase, and heat embossed a tiny additional sentiment in white on a thin strip of black cardstock to mount over it as well.

Just a Little Lovely - Pinkfresh Studio

Good morning! Yesterday was once again my day for a Facebook Live video! If you missed it and want to take a peek, you can find it on the Pinkfresh Facebook Page - this week's video is available HERE. Still planning to do this each week on Thursdays as schedules allow - so I hope you'll be able to come join me sometime! There was one giveaway for someone who watched live, and there is still one for someone who watches on replay - I will announce the winner late this morning, so there is still time to pop over and leave some comments for a chance to win!

We also have a SPECIAL Facebook Live planned for Monday with the BRAND NEW Essentials Release - make sure and come back then for that!

In the meantime - here is some more info and photos of the card we made, as well as links to all the products used! The easiest way to see it all is from the video, but I'll try to add some details here for those who don't have Facebook or prefer written tutorials to videos.

This card features the beautiful Just a Little Lovely stamp set from the last release - such a lovely floral set!

We did some ink smooshing with Bubble Gum, Clementine, and Candy Apple Liquid Watercolors on the background, then die cut it out with the Essentials Stitched Rectangles, and the Just a Little Lovely Coordinating Dies.

Used the MISTI to line up and stamp the image on the die cut piece, then added additional watercolors over the top of the smooshed colors - love the effect this gives! I used the same original colors and also added Key Lime and Sunshine.

Sentiment is stamped on one of the little tags from Lovely Frames Cover Die, heat embossed in gold, then with a bit of gold thread tucked underneath.

Finished off with a few of the jewels from the upcoming Essentials release on Monday, May 20th! Just a couple days away - can't wait! Make sure and come back for the blog hop and ANOTHER Facebook Live in celebration!

Vellum Florals Just a Little Lovely - Pinkfresh Studio

Popping in this afternoon to share a card I shared a peek of on today's Facebook Live video! If you missed the Live and want to take a peek, you can find it on the Pinkfresh Facebook Page - this week's video is available HERE. There is also a $15 gift certificate if you watch it on replay and leave a comment by tomorrow!

This isn't the card we made today, but it uses the same set we used in another way!

I did some smooshing with Key Lime, Emerald, and Aquamarine liquid watercolor for the background, and once that dried I also added some splatters with Licorice. I heat embossed the flowers from Just a Little Lovely in white on vellum and die cut with the coordinating Just a Little Lovely Dies

Sentiment was heat embossed on a frame from Lovely Frames, outline die cut with Essentials Stitched Rectangles, and finished off with a few more of the jewels from the upcoming Essentials release happening on Monday, May 20th!

Birthday Butterfly - Simon Says Stamp Celebrate You Release BLOG HOP

Good morning! I'm super excited today to be hopping along for Day 1 of a 2 day Blog Hop to celebrate the Fabulous NEW Celebrate You Release from Simon Says Stamp!!! Make sure and check out all the inspiration with this new release AND link up your creations as you receive your orders HERE in the Gallery created just for this release! And check out the graphic below for a coupon code for a free gift through Sunday, May 19th, 2019 as well!!! I used this freebie on THIS set of cards way back in October - so pretty and fun!

Today I'm sharing this soft and simple card using the beautiful new Filigree Butterfly Wafer Die, some Distress Oxides inks, and some Glimmer Paste!

I started off by blending Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral ink on a panel of white cardstock, then covering it with a coat of Tonic Moonstone Glimmer Paste. I set that aside to dry thoroughly.

Next, I die cut the beautiful Filigree Butterfly from white cardstock, then cut the panel again with Wonky Rectangles Dies. I stamped my sentiment from the NEW Big Birthday Greetings Stamp Set and the tiny additional sentiment from the previously released Tiny Words Faith underneath.

I added a few super fine black splatters using Pinkfresh Licorice liquid watercolors and a small brush. Once that dried - I layered it over my sparkly ink blending, then adhered the entire thing to a Cotton Candy cardbase! Can you see all the sparkle and shimmer behind the butterfly?

I also have a few other cards on my blog over the past couple of days using items from the new release - you can check out more details on these cards HERE and HERE if you're interested!

GIVEAWAY INFO:
Simon Says will be giving a $25 gift certificate to their online store at each stop along the hop - so make sure and leave a comment before you leave for a chance to win! Winners will be announced next Wednesday on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.
