Bright Hugs and Kisses - Simon Says Stamp February 2021 Card Kit

Hello! I'm here today to share another card with the February 2021 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Love You Beary Much! This kit is full of sweet love theme items, some super bright and happy elements, and some fun shaker fillings and embellishments as well! The included stamp set by the same name has the cutest little bear and other cute images - with lots of darling sentiments as well, there is some lovely pattern paper, an adorable mini stamp set - that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

Today's card was a bit of a different feel than what I normally make, but I just had to give that fun Rina K Designs Poppin' Pink Neon Glitz Glitter gel a try - super fun on the Tumbling Hearts stencil included in the kit!

I started off by stenciling that fun background on a panel of white cardstock with that neon glitter gel - super hard to capture the bright happy color and sparkle in a photo - but I tried! Once it dried, I trimmed the panel down slightly, and mounted on one of the A2 black notecards in the kit - perfect contrast with that bright pink!

I stamped the sentiment from the included stamp set then fussy cut it out and mounted with foam adhesive in the lower right corner. Finished off with a few of the sequins from the set included in the kit!

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can find all the details HERE:

Being a Friend - Simon Says Stamp Love You, Too Release Blog Hop

Good morning! Excited today to be joining in on Day 2 of an epic blog hop to celebrate the BRAND NEW Love You, Too Release from Simon Says Stamp! Make sure and check out all the inspiration with this new release AND link up your creations as you receive your orders HERE in the Gallery created just for this release! And check out the graphic below to receive a FREE darling 6x8 Faraway Hugs stamp set with the coupon code below through January 18, 2021 as well - while supplies last (code expires at 11:59 PM EDT)!!!

I have recently tried hot foiling for the first time - and I am totally and completely hooked! I got a hot foil machine, but no hot foil plates as of yet...but I discovered you can do hot foiling with dies as well! So when I saw the brand new Boho Circle Wafer Dies, well, I knew just what I wanted to do with them!

I wish I could totally capture in these photos the beautiful look that the hot foiling gives! Such a classy and fun look - and I love the versatility of being able to use dies for it! This die is perfect - so intricate and detailed!

For this first card, I used Soft Navy Cardstock, with Spellbinders Aura gold foil. Navy and Gold is always such a classic combo, don't you think?

I was also pleased to discover that one of the Nesting Circles was the perfect size to die cut my foiled image down to size.

Sentiment is using another new item - Thank You for Being a Friend die. I die cut it from gold cardstock for each card, and also a couple times from white cardstock to layer together for dimension.

For this second card, I used Mint cardstock, and used Spellbinder's Gold Foil to foil my image.

Once both images were foiled and die cut, I mounted them with foam adhesive on white cardbases, and added the sentiments over the top.

I finished off by embellishing with a few sparkly clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins - the clear color was just right to add a bit of sparkle, without distracting from the clean and graphic look of these cards.

I love the bold look of the foiling on the colored cardstock - but still leaving lots of white space by mounting on white cardbases.

I would love to hear which color combo is your favorite!

Celebrate Your Day - Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Release Celebration

Good morning! I'm here today to share a card that is also part of a Instagram Hop today to celebrate the BRAND NEW and awesome birthday release from Pretty Pink Posh! If you haven't seen the release yet, I created a video look at the entire release that you can check out HERE on the Pretty Pink Posh YouTube channel with all the details.

My card today is featuring one of the stamp sets you can get for FREE with a $100 purchase - and it is SOOO very cute! There is also a discount code on the graphic below for 10% off your purchase - what a great party, right?

I just LOVE this sweet little image - and I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the fun new clay embellishments that are part of this release! So excited about them if you couldn't tell!

I used the All My Love coordinating dies to create a simple shaker window for my card front to fill with the darling new Cupcake Clay Shaker Embellishments.

I colored up that adorable Hedgehog Birthday stamp image (currently only available as the FREEBIE with $100 purchase) - and then fussy cut the image out to mount on my cardfront.

I used Ivory cardstock for the cardbase, and white cardstock for the front shaker element. I also added a few of those same clay embellishments to the outside of the shaker element. Kind of a fun way to make it seem like the shaker is spilling over!

I'm Here For You Bear - Simon Says Stamp February 2021 Card Kit

Hello! I'm here today to share my first card with the BRAND NEW February 2021 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Love You Beary Much!

I have this sweet and simple little shaker card to share with you - I just couldn't wait to use this sweet bear on a card, and those fun shaker elements were just calling my name!

I started off by stamping and coloring this darling little bear, then fussy cutting him out - although coordinating dies are available, I didn't have them, and the image was easy to fussy cut. I die cut a circle from white cardstock to create the shaker window, then filled it with some of the fun embellishments in the kit - color coordinated to my image!

To finish off, I added a generous coat of Glossy Accents to the heart, and the nose on the bear - the perfect touch of shine on this image!

Bohemian Stitched Panel - Simon Says Stamp DIEcember

Good morning! Welcome to the very last day of DIEcember - a month that Simon Says Stamp celebrates all things die cutting! There was also a Fun Release for the occasion - I shared a sneak peek of the beginnings of this card earlier in the month for the release blog hop - and just in time to finish out the month, I finally finished this card yesterday and just had to share!

I used the fun new Detail Bohemian Cover plate for this card. I started off by die cutting it from white cardstock. Then looking at the design and thinking of the name, I grabbed some fun earthy tones of distress ink (including two of the newest colors) to blend over the top to help the details of the pattern pop a little more. I also added some splatters of the same ink colors, perfect pearls, and water. It still didn't seem to have the texture I was looking for, and that's when I broke out the needle and thread...and fully underestimated how much time that would take!

While it did take a while - I absolutely LOVE the finished effect! That texture is so lovely! And while it was slow going, it really was pretty fun to do whenever I had a few spare moments. I just used a double layer of basic white thread for this - embroidery floss may have been easier, but I didn't have any on hand, so I just worked with what I had.

Once it was all done, I trimmed the panel down and mounted with foam on a white cardbase, then I added a simple sentiment from some CZ Design pre-printed reverse sentiments, and a few sparkly white jewels to enhance the design.
