Bold Floral Window Trio - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! I've got a fun trio of floral cards to share today, mostly using dies from Simon Says Stamp, with a bit of simple stamping for the sentiments! These cards turned out very different than I expected when I started, but I love how sometimes that is how things work out, right?

I actually die cut all the flowers from Charming Flower Stem die set, originally planning to cluster them all onto one card. I cut and assembled them with Green Apple, Green Leaf, Lavender, Royal Purple, Lemon Chiffon, Sunshine, Audrey Blue, and Peacock cardstock. But once I got that far, I couldn't quite get them arranged in a way that I liked, so I decided to go back to one of my favorite things, and make a set of cards instead. They needed something else to pair with them, so I pulled out my Window Trio die to create a focal point to tuck the flowers into. For some reason, I decided to pull out some black cardstock, and see how that looked - instead of a more neutral color like I normally would have grabbed. I'm SOOO glad I did - I love the striking effect it gives! I used foam strips to pop the windows and flowers up off the background for dimension, tucking an extra bit of foam adhesive under the flowers to pop them up double, and tucked the bottom end of the stem inside the window frame. I added a touch of coordinating ink blending in each corner of the cards using Surf, Zest, and Violet inks, and a few coordinating Dazzling Gems in Butter, Surf, and Lilac, and added some Nuvo glitter drops to the centers of the flowers. Finished off with stamped sentiments from the Be Patient stamp set on each one - the perfect touch of encouragement! Here is a closer look at this bold trio of cards:
