SPS November Hop and Challenge - Foliage

{This is my second hop for the day - if you are looking for My Craft Spot new release hop, click HERE or scroll down to the last post)

Good morning! It is the first Saturday of the month of November (ALREADY!!!), so the Shop Pumpkin Spice Design Team is hopping together with a new challenge - Foliage! You should have arrived here from Carissa's blog! The full blog line-up is at the bottom of this post, so feel free to go back and start at the beginning!

I planned on making a fall/Thanksgiving card with a theme like foliage - but with how much snow we've been getting here (which has caused me to give in to the temptation to put on Christmas music!) - I ended up with a Christmas theme card! I also have been loving silhouettes lately - so this worked perfectly!!!

I used an older Glitz Design paper pad from Shop Pumpkin Spice. It isn't carried there any more, but you can find a few other beautiful ones HERE. I cut my fun wreath with my Silhouette Cameo and Studio Designer Edition Software. Sentiment is from My Craft Spot stamped on a banner cut with a die also from My Craft Spot (both from the new release!), and I added some black jute twine and cherry red traditional baker's twine and tied on a couple little jingle bells for a festive touch.

Only one stop left on the hop today - so head on over to the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog and check out (and please play along with) the new challenge!

SPS Inspiration - Gift Card Holders

Good morning! I'm over on the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog today to share some cute little gift card sized envelopes that my girls made recently using some of October Afternoon's adorable Woodland Park 8x8 papers (these are the ones I promised last week during the My Creative Time release):

First up, my youngest, who is the one who wanted to make them. I had been making these little envelopes for a different design team, and she wanted to make her own. She is an animal lover, so of course fell in love with the cute critters on the pattern paper she chose!

She added some of the coordinating embellishments and a bit of washi tape to finish it off.

Then my oldest had to get in on the fun:

She is a little more into the elegant things in life, so she fell in love with the peacock paper - so pretty!

Added some washi tape to hers, some adhesive pearls, and some of the coordinating embellishments.

You can find this beautiful paper pack at Shop Pumpkin Spice HERE.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!

SPS Inspiration - LOVE you &me

Good morning! I'm sharing this card on the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog today:

I used some pattern papers from Echo Park For the Record 2 6x6 paper pad, and a journal card from the Journal Card 12x12 sheet from the same collection.

I stamped the "love" word from Paper Smooches Bee Mine Stamp set repeatedly on the journal card, then added a couple of stickers from the coordinating sticker sheet in the Collection Pack. I used a pen to place an "x" on each of the boxes.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

SPS September Hop - Work Theme

Good morning! Today is the first Saturday of the month, so the Shop Pumpkin Spice DT is hopping with the new challenge for this week. If you've just hopped here from Marlene, then you are in the right place, otherwise feel free to hop back to the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog to start at the beginning.

The challenge theme for the week is Work...and I since I have the privilege of staying home, this is pretty much what I think of when I think of work!

Yep! Laundry! Not my favorite household task, but it still beats washing windows (definitely my LEAST favorite household task!) I used a fun Unity Stamp that SPS carries called Loads of Love, stamped it on watercolor paper, heat embossed it with Brown Sugar Zing embossing powder. I colored it with my Tim Holtz distress markers, and used a waterbrush over it to give it a watercolor feel, then stamped my sentiment with some green MFT ink - also coloring and waterbrushing the heart in the center of the "o" - then cut it out with a Lil' Inker's stitched rectangle die.

My pattern papers are from Echo Park's 6x6 For the Record 2 paper pad. I added a bit of woodgrain washi across the top, then a couple different stickers from the For the Record  2 Tailored Alpha Stickers and For the Record 2 Tailored Elements Stickers. Finished off with a bit of Stickles on the watercolored image.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! You're next stop is the SPS Blog - so you're right at the end! Here is the rest of the blog hop line-up in case you get lost along the way:

Have a great day!!!

Unity FWF - Birthday Hoot

Good morning! I'm SOOO excited to FINALLY have a chance to play along with Unity Friends with Flair for the first time in a few weeks! I actually whipped this card up this morning in a couple spare minutes I happened to sneak in!
I used the March 2013 Kit of the Month for the cute owl and sentiment. I used some cute papers from my 6x6 My Mind's Eye "Everyday Flair" paper pad (available HERE at Shop Pumpkin Spice).
I cut the blue with my Lil' Inker's Stitched Rectangles Die, and stamped my owl and sentiment with MFT dye ink - LOVE the coverage on that stuff!
Tucked a doily in the background, added some jute twine, and finished off with a couple of my new favorite embellishment - sequins from Avery Elle!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a great Friday - and have a wonderful weekend!!!

Shop Pumpkin Spice - Just a Note

Good morning! Today is my day to share over at Shop Pumpkin Spice - and I put together a fun card with lots of My Mind's Eye Indie Chic pattern paper for you today:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out this cute file from the online store.
My pattern papers are all from the Indie Chic "Ginger" line - love how well they blend together!
I mounted both the fence and the kitties with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.
I used a sentiment from Paper Smooches, and tucked just a bit of washi tape from the same MME Indie Chic collection on the left hand side of the card to balance the sentiment.
Finished off with a bit of bling, and some jute twine tied in a bow.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your week is off to a great start!

Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration - Valentine Card

Good morning! So excited to share some inspiration today using some product from Shop Pumpkin Spice! I'm up on the SPS blog today - with this card:
With Valentine's Day coming up, you can never have too many cards! This would also be perfect for an Anniversary, or Just Because card
I used some of the Crate Paper 6x6 Fourteen papers on this card, as well as some Bazzil Basic White Cardstock. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the heart doily, as well as the smaller hearts, using my Silhouette Designer Edition Software and some cut files from the Silhouette online store.
I mounted both the big doily, and each of the little hearts with foam adhesive to give this card lots of fun dimension.
I embossed the white panel using my Cuttlebug - and inked the edges of it and everything else with Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen to finish off the edges.
The sentiment is from a the We Connect by Paper Smooches - such a perfect set for Valentine's Day! I stamped it with PTI ink in a coordinating color, and added a bit of bling under the sentiment.
Wrapped some jute twine around, attached the sentiment with it, then tied in a bow, attaching a button from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful week!

February SPS Hop and Challenge - Hearts!

Hello! It's the first Saturday of February (my goodness...where DID January go?!?!?!) - which means it is time for the monthly blog hop with Shop Pumpkin Spice - which means a new weekly challenge for you to play along with! If you just hopped over here from June - you are in the right place. If you want to start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the inspiring stops - head over to Shop Pumpkin Spice to read the details - or you can find the entire blog line-up at the bottom of this post. The theme this month is hearts - easy this time of year, right? Here is what I made this time around:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the US map, as well as the cute heart. LOVE how beautifully it cut!
All my pattern paper is from Crate Papers Fourteen 6x6 paper pad - such pretty colors! I inked all the edges with distress ink in coordinating colors.
I used some kraft paper run through my Cuttlebug for a background, then matted it in white paper and used a heart shaped doily folded around it for the background.
I used foam adhesive to attach the map piece, then the heart over the top. The tiny "hello" is from Crate Paper's Pretty Party Chipboard Accents - it is one tiny piece from the top edge - I thought it fit perfectly on here!
Finally, I wrapped some jute twine around and tied it in a bow, before using more foam adhesive to attach the entire panel to my pattern paper on my card base.
I hope you will join us this week - and make sure and hop along and enjoy all the beautiful projects! Thanks for stopping by today! You're next stop is Cheryl - and here is the entire blog line-up in case you get lost:

Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration - Tiny Valentine Cards

For some reason, I was really inspired recently with making itty bitty cards! So here are a couple more that I made - they are 3x3 inches square. SOOOO cute and tiny! I think I'm going to sneak them to my girls sometime...if we didn't home school I would sneak them in a lunchbox...so I might have to just hide them somewhere else!
I used some of my favorite stamps from Shop Pumpkin Spice - Paper Smooches! They are just so cute and versatile. The set I used is We Connect. Full of sweet sentiments to mix and match!
My pattern papers are from Crate Paper's 6x6 Fourteen paper pad - they are BEAUTIFUL for Valentine's Day, and so much more!

I used a Spellbinders Die to cut my shaped card, by folding a piece of cardstock in half, then positioning the die so that it is not covering the fold. I ran it through twice to make sure it cut both layers, which worked perfectly to emboss the front layer too!
I punched the heart out using a paper punch I had in my stash, inked the edges, then covered it with Glossy Accents after attaching it with foam adhesive. Finished off with a bit of Baker's Twine to tie a sweet bow along the top.
I am also linking these up with the Moxie Fab World Itty Bitty Card Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by to visit today! Have a great day!!!
