Birthday Jar

Good morning! Just sharing a quick and fun card I made with my Paper Smooches Stamps:

LOVE LOVE LOVE this jar stamp from Crystal Clear! I stamped it on white cardstock, added a rainbow of confetti from Hullaballoo, and stamped the sentiment on it from Party Posse, then fussy cut it out.

Used some Avery Elle cardstock for my cardbase, misted with a bit of white Mister Huey's spray mist. Attached the jar to that, added some sequins, a bit of lace, and a bow with three different colors of twine.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!

Awesome, nice, smart...

Good morning! Just thought I would pop in and share a simple guy card that I made for my brother-in-law using some Avery Elle stamps:

Love how crisp and clear these stamp images are! Looks almost like they were printed right on there and not stamped!

I wasn't originally planning on it, but I had to split the birthday sentiment to fit on the other words we inserted from the stamp set on the width of the card.

Pattern paper is from Crate Paper, and added just a touch of Glitz Designs washi tape.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!

PS SPARKS Cool Shades - Celebration

Hello! It's time for a new challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge! I had fun with the Cross Stitch Technique that Savannah showed in a Virtual Smooches Video (click HERE to see more!) LOVED playing around with it - and this is what I came up with:

This week it is a Cool Shades Challenge:

Here is the color palette - Celebration:

I used the little cross stitch from Needle Little Love to build my anchor pattern. The sentiment and hearts are from Wicked Nauticool. I stamped the sentiment in 3 parts so that it stacked where I had room for it, instead of all in one straight line.

Pattern papers are from Glitz Designs Uncharted Waters and Fancy Pants Down By the Shore 6x6 paper pads.

Rounded a couple of corners, used some distress ink to soften things up a bit, and added just a touch of bling to the hearts and top left corner before mounting on an Avery Elle Kraft Cardstock base.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit! Please stop by and see what the rest of the SPARKS team put together:

Floppy Ears Happy Birthday

Alrighty then - last one for tonight I think! At least for a while! This one is for a few different challenges:

First up - this is my second entry into this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge - Five Year Anniversary Celebration. I just LOVED these colors and couldn't resist playing again:

Next up is this weeks Inspired By Challenge. I loved the mix of patterns, the strip of yellow down the center (which became my banners under my image), and the floral touches that I used in my background paper:

I used a super sweet MFT image on a square cut with my Lil' Inker's Stitched Square Dies, and colored it in with Copic markers, then stamped the sentiment with MFT ink from a Pure Innocence stamp set.

Added some banners on the bottom with some May Arts Chevron ribbon, some background paper from MME, a few enamel dots, and a bit of jute twine tied in a big loose bow on the front.

LOVE this sweet image! That's it for me for now - although my Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge card should be going live in a few hours! Until then - enjoy your evening!

Neon Birthday Wishes

Okay...one more for two challenges, only this time I was too late for BOTH of them! Double oops...

The expired one is the CAS*ology Challenge - Neon:

And I'm also late for this one! Hero Arts - Playing Favorites Challenge (which also said something about Basic Grey, so I included that as well!):

Now, picking my favorite stamp is a little difficult, but this is definitely one of my favs! I LOVE silhouette images - and this one is perfect for birthday cards! I stamped it on Basic Grey pattern paper, and heat embossed with neon Zing embossing powder. Added some swirls of Glossy Accents, and a strip on the bottom, then sprinkled on some neon glitter to match. Finished off with a Unity Stamp birthday sentiment, a border punched matted border, and a sprinkle of sequins.

Okay - getting close to finished catching up now!

Express Yourself

The next card I am sharing is for one challenge I missed the deadline for (oops!) and one that I didn't (YAY!):

The first challenge that has already expired, is the Runway Inspired Challenge - the design and shapes inspired me on this one:

The second and in time challenge is the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Pin It! I used an image and sentiment from the Unity May Kit of the Month, stamped with MFT ink, and using some Avery Elle Cardstock. I added a few enamel dots, and a tiny Tim Holtz paper clip to the top left corner. I also attached the front panel at an angle to add a bit of interest!

Okay...one more down!!!

A Little Stamping...

Hello! Hope you are having a good Sunday evening! I have been behind on posting some cards - and had a few challenge cards I wanted to get posted! A few are already past the deadline (oops!) - so I figured I better take a few minutes this evening to get them posted! This first one is for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: A Little Stamping:
Since I only stamped the sentiment - I figure that was a "little stamping" - right? Pattern paper from Crate Paper, solid cardstock from PTI, sentiment from Paper Smooches stamped with PTI ink, a bit of washi tape, and a bow of jute twine with an October Afternoon button tied on.
I'll be back in a minute with another catch up post!
