Vintage Missing You - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the newest February 2025 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Distressed Vintage Notes! This month's kit has a lovely vintage love theme that I adore! The included stamp set by the same name features some lovely images and sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There is a fun embossing folder, Tim Holtz ephemera, ink pad and collage matte medium...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

I created this soft card with a completely vintage feel to it! I used a few items from the Tim Holtz ephemera in the kit, trimming the flower in half to tuck in two different places, and layering up the other items with the Big Momma foam tape (I love that it is thinner, so dimension, but I can create more layers without it getting too thick!). For the background, I used the Pinnacle Hearts embossing folder on white cardstock, then trimmed it down, rounded a couple corners, and mounted on a kraft cardbase with the same two colors rounded off. I added a sentiment from the stamp set in the kit - stamped on a thin strip and hand trimmed into a banner shape - and finished off with a few Dazzling Gems in gold for some sparkle!

Comfy Cozy are We - Pinkfresh Studio December Challenge

Hello! I thought yesterday was my last holiday card to share - and then I remembered this cute little mini slimline that hadn't shared yet! I created this a couple weeks ago for the Pinkfresh Studio December challenge - and then totally forgot to post it (scroll to the bottom of this post for details on this month's challenge that ends in just a couple days!)! Anyway...on Christmas Eve, I thought it was a perfect time to share. Technically, I suppose this could even count as just a winter card, right?

I used the most recent holiday collection from Pinkfresh called Holiday Dreams - I love this design in the 12x12 pattern paper - it's perfect for creating a cute little mini slimline card! I mounted the trimmed portion of the paper on a light blue background, and framed it with a white die cut Mini Slim Stitch Scalloped Rectangle. The sentiment is from the Title Ephemera pack (don't you love the gold foiling on that?!?), and a few enamel dots add a finishing sprinkle of fun! Here are more photos of this card:

Here is the inspiration for this month's challenge - you can use either just the colors, just the theme, or combine the two together. And...one lucky winner in the each category of cardmaking or scrapbooking wins a $50 gift card, so it's a great challenge to enter if you're feeling festive still! You can find all the details HERE - you have until Tuesday night at 11:59 PM CST to enter.

Dreamy Floral Ephemera Cards - SB dot com Exclusive set

Good morning! Dropping by to share a card using some Pinkfresh Studio supplies - including the special new Dreamy Floral Ephemera that was is available exclusively at Scrapbook.com - and is available today as a free gift with any purchase for the next 3 days, or while supplies last! You can click HERE for more details! There are also some other promos going on (including a coupon for 8% off your entire order TODAY only!) - you can check all those out HERE.

I've used this lovely ephemera to create two cards adding a mix of other hot foil plates, dies, and stickers and enamel dots!

First up, this card featuring creamy spring yellows - who else is ready for spring?

I used the Diagonal Stitched Plaid coverplate to create a background from white cardstock for my card. Perfect texture!

I added a frame using Nested Hexagons hot foil plate - actually using the reverse foiled image with the Solid Hot Foil plate, and Rose Gold foil.

I popped that frame up with foam adhesive, and added my florals tucked around the frame.

Sentiment was created using Matte Black foil, and the Celebrate hot foil plate and coordinating die.

Finished off with a few coordinating enamel dots from the Chrysanthemum collection!

Second card is all about those pink florals!

I started off by creating a die cut background for this card using Daisy Chain coverplate. I added that over a pink cardbase to help those floral die cuts pop!

I created a frame on this one using Stitched Scallop Rectangles dies. I used just the outer frame, cut from mirror gold cardstock, then tucked a bit of white cardstock behind the frame to anchor everything.

I hot foiled the word "birthday" from Phrase Builder: Happy hot foil plate and Polished Brass hot foil, and die cut with the coordinating dies.

I tucked and arranged the florals and the hot foiled sentiment, popping the florals up with foam adhesive, and the the frame up with foam adhesive on the background as well.

I added the word "happy" with the Chrysanthemum Mini Alpha Stickers along the side to complete the sentiment. They were the perfect color and size!

Finally, I finished off with a few more of those enamel dots, adding them to the centers of the flwoers, as well as tucked around the frame in coordinating colors.

I love using floral ephemera to create quick and easy cards. Funny fact? All of these die cut pieces, hot foiled items, and backgrounds were actually leftovers from other projects that hadn't been used. So these cards came together SUPER quickly, AND used up items that were just waiting to be put to good use!
