Pirate Ship Birthday - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I've got another simple little card using another of the adorable smaller sets from Simon Says Stamp that I hadn't had a chance to put to use. I love a good silhouette, and this one is so cute. Who doesn't love a cute pirate ship?!? And sometimes missed birthdays happen, so a card to have on hand for those moments is just a good idea!

For this card, I created a layered wave background. To do this, I grabbed some Post it Tape, and tore along the long edge to get a rough texture, then used it to mask off the top of the card, and blend some Cadette ink over the lower section. I tore another piece so the pattern didn't repeat, masked down a bit further, and blended the same color a bit deeper, then repeated one more time for an even darker section at the bottom. Easy layered waves! Then I simply stamped the ship and sentiments from Oh Ship directly on the cardbase, rounded off one corner, added a few Surf Dazzling gems, and this card is done, and nearly one layer (if you skipped the gems it would be!). Here is a closer look:

Hey Foxy - Simon Says Stamp Shine On Release

Good evening! Tonight I've got a clean and classy birthday card using one of my favorite sets from the NEW Shine On Release from Simon Says Stamp - I have always adored foxes, and I've used this one set so much already! As I mentioned previously, it also has coordinating stencils, which just makes it even MORE fun!

The fox was stamped, stenciled, and die cut with the fun Clever Fox set - I used Clay, Terracotta, Ballerina, Cozy, and Buttercream inks to color it in with the fun new Detail Shading brush. For the cardbase, I used the smallest size of the Elongated Hexagons stencils from a previous release on some Sea Glass cardstock and blended Surf and Ocean for a tone on tone focal point using the new Large Shading Brush. I planned where to put that cute fox, and stamped my sentiments around it, then masked them off and added a good dose of White Splatter. Once that dried, I added the fox with foam adhesive, rounded off a couple corners, and added a couple rows of Clear Dazzling gems! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Incandescent Fish - Simon Says Stamp Shine On Release

Hello! Super excited to be sharing my first card with the BRAND NEW Shine On Release from Simon Says Stamp that just dropped! I have so many cards to share with you - so be ready for a ton in the next few days! But this bright happy one seemed like the perfect place to begin!

I started off by die cutting and assembling some of the ADORABLE Fun Fish die set using Lipstick and Orange Peel cardstocks - then adding on the hilarious wiggly eyes. I then die cut one of the new Embossed Squovals from white cardstock, then used a previously released Squoval die to cut a window and create a frame, and a slightly larger one to cut another panel of Ivory glitter cardstock. I layered the white frame over the glitterly one with foam adhesive. I added some strips of Audrey cardstock to my white cardbase, then added my frame and all the cute fishies on top. Sentiment is from Balloon Critters, white heat embossed on black cardstock, and then a secondary sentiment from EZ Strips Glow On Reverse Sentiment Strips. Finishing touch was one rounded corner on my cardbase, and a sprinkle of Surf Dazzling gems! Here are lots more photos of this bright and happy card:

Ordinary Joy - Tim Holtz June coordinating die release

Good morning! I'm back to share another card using the June 2026 installment of Tim Holtz coordinating dies that released recently from Simon Says Stamp! This card appeals to my music loving heart - and I had so much fun putting it together!

I started off by stamping that fun musical note image from Tiny Things 2 on colored cardstock with tone-on-tone ink colors. I used Honey, Mandarin, Blush, Royal, and Field inks and stamped on Banana, Creamsicle, Apricot, Cornflower, and Green Apple cardstocks. I then die cut with those amazing new coordinating dies - do you see how beautifully they cut even that section between the lines? I love that! I wanted to add a bit of interest to my cardbase, so I pulled out an older stencil from Simon Says Stamp called Brush Strokes, and used the same colors of inks I had stamped with on varying sections of the card. It still felt like there was too much contrast, so I blended the tiny bit of leftover ink on my brushes onto the cardbase very softly to add a little bit of a soft halo effect. I then popped those images up with foam adhesive strips. I added a sentiment from Tiny Text, die cut with one of the new coordinating dies for that set, rounded off one corner, then added a sprinkle of Dazzling Gems in Prism to finish off! Here is a closer look at this colorful and happy card:

Bright Layered Florals - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I feel like I have really fallen in love with die cutting this year - I seem to go through different phases of favorite card techniques, and I've really found sitting and die cutting from various pieces of colored cardstock is such a relaxing and fun way to spend my time. And when a floral die is as pretty as this one from Simon Says Stamp - well, it's hard to stop then! I realized after I finished, that this card had no stamping on it at all, so it is really letting the die cutting shine!

I used the lovely Honeybell Floral die for this - one that had been sitting in my pile waiting to be used, so it was definitely time to break it out! I die cut it using Lipstick, Cotton Candy, and Sage cardstocks, then assembled each one together, varying the flowers randomly on each one. I created a cardbase from Cream cardstock, then started arranging the floral clusters until I had an arrangement that I liked, at which point I adhered them with liquid glue. I added some white splatter over the entire card then, so it layered on the florals as well as the cardbase. I added some Bright Butterflies cut from Honey cardstock, the Thank You sentiment die cut from white and black cardstock, then rounded off both right corners of the card to fit the movement of the florals. I added several tiny coordinating Dazzling gems in Bubblegum, Sprout, and Butter, then grabbed a fine line Sharpie to add a sketchy outline to the card to pull it all together! Here are more photos:

Rainbow Arch Card - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! As part of my searching for inspiration on Pinterest, I came across so many adorable rainbow images - and the idea popped into my head to use a couple different arch dies from Simon Says Stamp to create my own rainbow! I love how this one turned out, and used some color inspiration that I thought was so unexpected but cute!

I used the A2 Arches die and the Scalloped Arches die, cutting various sizes of the nesting A2 Arches together to create a rainbow arch. I used Sage and Honey cardstock, then Rainbow Splash Caramel cardstock. I trimmed off the bottom so that instead of a full arch frame on each of them, they turned into the rainbow shape. I adhered those to my cardbase using foam strips for the inner and outer arch, then liquid glue for the scalloped one, and added some tiny doodled dots with a fine line Sharpie. I also die cut a few of the Whirl Butterflies, and a tiny heart from Basic Hearts die. Sentiment is from Inspirational Quotes stamp set, and then I rounded off one corner of the card. Finally, some Nuvo glitter drops on the heart add some sparkle, and a few coordinating Gold, Sprout, and Butter gems finish it off! Here is a closer look at the final card:

Banner Day Celebration Card - Simon Says Stamp June 2026 Card Kit

Hello! I'm dropping by to share another card using the newest June 2026 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Step Right UpThis month's kit is full of summery fun - perfect for carnivals, movie nights, and happy nostalgic memories! The included Having Fun stamp set has some fun images that pair with some of the dies included in the kit. There is some fun new Heat and Fluff (which is MAGICAL on the popcorn!), Scratch and Sniff stickers (takes me back to my childhood!), exclusive printed papers, craft fluffs, additional dies, and that's all not to mention the cardstock, notecards, and more! And, there is also a coordinating die set for the stamp available that is live in the store now as well!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

I love all the neutrals on this card, with lots of pops of bright red! I started off by die cutting all the elements of the Festive Bunting die 3 times - can you believe the red "strings" are actually the Schoolhouse Red cardstock? I used the Desert Storm in the kit for the banners, and then used the small elements on the Having Fun stamp set to stamp patterns on each one using White Pigment ink. Then, I strung them all together, and layered them on my card using small foam dots. Next, I used one of the add-ons, Prize Ribbon stamp and die set. I used the stamp set to add a couple sentiments directly on the card, and one of them on part of the die, cut out from white and the same red cardstock. I used one of the little images from the Having Fun stamp set to add the little red sparkles around the card with Cranberry ink, added a few trios of Dazzling Black gems, and rounded off one corner of the card to finish off! Here are lots more photos of all the fun details on this card:
