Second to Snow One - Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the new January 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Don't Flurry, Be Happy! This month's kit is full of wintry fun! The included stamp set by the same name has some snowflake images, as well as some great coordinating sentiments, there is a fun 3D embossing folder, a set of 3 snowflake dies, festive pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, embellishments, and more!

I saw my friend Lea Lawson recently use the reverse side of a 3D embossed panel, and loved the look - so I thought I'd give it a try on this card! I added some of the pretty die cut snowflakes in the kit, cut from the included holographic paper, and heat embossed a sentiment in silver on black cardstock. Used the included Cornflower cardstock for the cardbase, a few of the included Rainbow Splash drops, and some Silver and White Twine tied around for a bit of extra sparkle! Here are more photos of this card:

Holiday Cheer Snowflakes - Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first cards using the new December 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Making Spirits Bright! This month's kit has a great holiday vibe, and lots of fun decorative elements! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images to stamp as well as some great sentiments, there is a fun embossing folder, a fun phrase die, festive pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, tools, and more!

Today I'm sharing a duo of cards featuring a crisp black and white design, with some pops of red and green and sparkle! For these cards, I cut the Holiday Cheer die set from Red Holographic paper for the shadow layer, and white for the front layer. To create a background for those, I stamped the large snowflakes from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set in black on white cardstock, then trimmed that panel down, and added a thin mat using the green glitter paper in the Holiday Sparkle glitter pack from Pinkfresh Studio. I also added some coordinating Ruby and Jade glitter drops from Pinkfresh, to add that extra sparkle and pop of color. Here are more photos of these cards:

Hello Friend - Simon Says Stamp January 2021 Card Kit

Good morning! I'm back with another card using the BRAND NEW January 2021 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Snowflake Season! This kit is frosty and wintry, and perfect for sending love in the cold winter months! The included stamp set by the same name has lovely detailed images and perfectly coordinating sentiments, there is some STUNNING snowy pattern paper a beautiful snowflake die, a gorgeous snowflake embossing folder - that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

Today I have a frosty and sparkly card to share using some of the fun elements in the kit!

I love the fun pattern paper in the kit - so wintry and fun, and the colors are awesome! I used that for a background for that lovely snowflake die, and then stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set and die cut with one of the smallest Basic Circle dies. The size actually cut off the stitched line around the outside, but I was okay with that, since it allowed more of the snowflake to show anyway.

I originally was going to use that holographic paper as a mat layer behind the pattern paper - I just didn't want to waste any scrap of it, so I die cut a rectangle from the center first so I could save that for something else. Then...it just seemed to make the perfect frame, so I went with that! Sea glass card base is the perfect coordinating color to finish this card off - and how fun is that holographic envelope as well?!?!?
