Sail the Ocean - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! I'm popping in later to share this card than I intended, but better late than never, right? This card uses a fun stamp set that I hadn't had a chance to use, as well as some pattern paper and embellishments, all from Simon Says Stamp

I love a good pattern paper, and had recently picked up the Carta Bella Seashore 6x6 paper pad. As I was looking through my supplies, it caught my eye as a perfect pairing for the cute Ahoy Matey set that I hadn't had a chance to put to use yet! I started off by using a die cut arch from A2 Arches die set, and then stamped the main image slightly off the right edge. I added some torn paper over the bottom of that panel, trimming off the excess, then put the arch back in my MISTI to restamp so it added the details on the bottom where the water was! I stamped a sentiment at the top, then added a twine bow. I cut some different pattern papers down, and layered together in wonky layers using Big Momma foam adhesive for a touch of dimension between each layer. I added a pattern paper heart die cut from Geometric Heart Builder die, popped up with foam, and then with a good layer of Glossy Accents for a touch of shine. Finished off with a few Trinity Stamps Bubble Blow out accents for a bit of extra fun! Here is a closer look at this card:

Graphic Painted Leaf Cards - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! Today I'm sharing a couple of fun die cut cards with some graphic layouts and fun touches - I'm also using lots of supplies from Simon Says Stamp

This past week I shared a couple cards using the fun Granulating watercolors that I picked up, and these cards featured anther way I put them to use! I die cut the new Basil Leaf die a few times from watercolor cardstock, then added color with one of the options in the palette. I love how as it dried, the colors shifted and changed to get this pretty mottled look! I die cut some arches from Honey Gold satin mirror cardstock using A2 Arches die, nesting each smaller size inside the next to get a variety of different sizes of frames, all from one piece of the cardstock. I adhered those in fun arrangements on each cardbase, tucking the watercolored leaves in and trimming off any excess stem pieces. I added sentiments from Swiss Dots set, and a few Pinkfresh Iridescent Dew Drops, then rounded off one corner on each card to finish off! Here is a closer look at each of these:

Watercolor Tulips Love You Mom - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a couple more cards using an older stamp set from Simon Says Stamp - but paired up with some new watercolors and a lovely paint palette I recently purchased!

I don't do a ton of watercoloring - and definitely wouldn't call myself an expert. But I do find it SOOO relaxing and fun! When I saw the gorgeous Petal Palette from Altenew, I just knew it would be a lovely addition to my craft room. I also grabbed the Altenew 36 pan watercolor set, and an Altenew brush set. Then I pulled out this lovely Mother's Day Tulips stamp set - it has such a large and gorgeous bloom, perfect for painting! I stamped it with Nocturne ink - which is so great for watercoloring, and for getting a lovely stamped image on watercolor paper. Then I just enjoyed taking my time and painting these beauties. Once they finished and dried, I added sentiments from the same stamp set, and then trimmed down some Spellbinders colored cardstock that coordinated, and popped those strips up with foam on the side of the panel. Finished off with a few Trinity Stamps Bubble Blow Out embellishments that reminded me of dew drops on real flowers. Here are more photos of these two finished cards:

Pinkfresh Studio “Gentle Greetings & Greenery” Release Blog Hop

Good morning! Today is the blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's "Gentle Greetings & Greenery" Release! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! Click HERE to shop the new release!

I ended up down sick a couple days last week, so didn't have nearly as much time as I wanted to create - so in a rare exception to the normal, I only have one card to share with you today. It does, however, use several items from the release, and I love how it came out!

For this card, I did lots of hot foiling! I used Satin Metallic Gold for the Interlaced Diamonds plate as well as the large sentiment from Basic Sentiments. Then for the Beautiful Botanicals, I used Opaque Black - you could also create these easily with stamping, but I liked the look of the foil for these! I blended in my florals with soft pastels, and then added some ink blending to my background. Finished off with a few Iridescent Dew Drops, and some white hemp twine! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Split Vase Mini Slimline Duo - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created recently for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. It has been fun pulling out some of our older sets, and pairing them up with the new ink colors like this - and how fun is it to get a two for one design with one stamped and stenciled piece?!? You can watch the video replay HERE if you want to see more details and watch this card come together.

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

For these cards, I heat embossed the lovely image from Inky Bouquet, and blended deep shades of some of the new ink colors in with the coordinating layering stencils. I die cut, then got really brave and cut the panel in half, so I could create a duo of mini slimline cards. I added some framing using Mini Slimline Frames, and a mix of Champagne foil cardstock, ivory, and soft blue, and a mix of foam adhesive, and a tape runner. I added texture to the two inner frames using Floral Tiles coverplate die and Dotted Scallops coverplate die. Sentiments were stamped in Detail black, and I adhered those and a few of the new (soon to be released!) Color Drops to embellish after the live. Here are lots more photos of these finished cards:
