Grateful for You Slimline - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created recently for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. I had fun using an A2 sized die cut with some creative trimming to create a slimline card - and using lots of the most recent release! You can watch the video replay HERE if you want to see more details and watch this card come together.

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

I used the new Secret Garden die for this card, and while it is made to create a perfectly sized frame for an A2 card - with a bit of creative trimming, you can see that it also works beautifully for a Slimline size card! I used the Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles as a base, and layered some cardstock strips under it for interest, using Slim Stripes die and some pretty cardstock from the Stamp Market in Sage, Papaya, and Blush. I stacked 3 of the die cut Secret Garden frames up for added dimension, adhering them together with a blue pen. Sentiment is from the new Thanks for Being There stamp set, heat embossed in white on that Papaya cardstock then die cut with the coordinating die. Secondary sentiment from the same set is stamped in Detail Black. Cardbase is that same Sage color - I love how it lets the pinks pop a bit more. Finished off with some sparkle using a combination of Glitter Drops in Leaf and Champagne, and some Iridescent Clear Drops. Here are some more photos of the finished card:

Pastel Paper Layers with Simple Coloring

Good morning! I'm stopping by with a card using another one of the many fabulous releases from Unity Stamp Company that happened yesterday, paired up with another fabulous sale as well! It's been a while since I had time to work with any of the new releases (besides my weekly posts on the Unity Blog) so today I had fun creating a few videos with the new items that just released. One of my all time favorite techniques is layering up beautiful pattern papers - so I pulled out some lovely papers and used the new You Are My Blessing to create this card:

Here is the video for this card sharing my process:

I die cut my image and sentiment in an oval shape, and colored with very simple Copic colors - basically adding shading with a single color over the initial coloring.

I layered up this lovely Stamp Market Color Crush 6x6 pattern paper, curling up the edges as I love to do to add texture and the appearance of more layers, but without additional bulkiness.

Isn't this stamp set so beautiful?!?!?

LID June Release Day 3 - Touched Beyond Words

Hello! And welcome to the 3rd and final day of the blog hop sharing projects with the BRAND NEW June release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is a super fun and happy release - you are going to love this one! You can find the entire new release HERE!

Today's card is a bright and simple card, nice and flat and easy to mail - not quite one layer, but not too far off either!

I absolutely LOVE the beautiful font and sayings in Hand Drawn Thankfulness, so I wanted to make sure and let this one shine on the card without too many distractions!

I heat embossed it on a panel of colored pattern paper, then used Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die on a panel of white cardstock, die cut it into a rectangle using Stitched Mats: Rectangles, then die cut a rectangular window out of the front of that panel for the sentiment to peek through.

Finished off with another layer of pattern paper, and adhered all the layers flat together. Foam adhesive would be fun as well - but I thought this made a nice, simple and easy to mail card!

LID June Release Day 2 - Happy Birthday to You

Hello! Back for Day 2 of the blog hop sharing projects with the BRAND NEW June release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is a super fun and happy release - you are going to love this one! You can find the entire new release HERE!

I love that there are some fun birthday theme sets in this release - I feel like birthday cards are the ones I make and use the most often, so it's always great to have some fun options to create quick and easy cards!

I die cut the huge focal Happy Birthday to You Word Die 3 times - once from coral cardstock, and twice from white (and am I the only one that can't keep myself from starting to sing the song as I read this?!?!?). I layered them together, offsetting the white layer a bit for a shadow effect to help the words pop on my bright happy pattern paper background.

I stamped several images from the fun Cake Party stamp set, colored with Copic markers to coordinate, then die cut with the coordinating Cake Party Dies.

I also used the fun new Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die on the background panel, then adhered those fun party images around my sentiment using foam adhesive.

LID June Release Day 1 - Cup of Tea

Hello! So excited to start sharing projects with the BRAND NEW June release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is a super fun and happy release - you are going to love this one! You can find the entire new release HERE!

One of my favorites from the new release are the fun tea theme sets! As much as I love the smell of coffee, I can't stand the taste of it - and am definitely a tea girl, so these were right up my alley!

I used lots of solid and pattern papers from The Stamp Market to die cut the layers from Time For Tea Die Set - love the soft colors, and wouldn't you love to have a cup that looked like that to drink your morning tea from?

Sentiment from Time for Tea Stamp Set was heat embossed on the tea bag tag, and I added some "steam" above the cup using the previously released Coffee Cozy Die Set!
