Winter Embroidery Hoop Ornament - Simon Says Stamp DieCember 2025 Release

Good morning! I'm dropping by with another fun project using the BRAND NEW and HUGE DieCember Release from Simon Says Stamp that just released! This is a fun hanging ornament, that is a mix of lots of different fun textures, from wood, to felt, to glitter cardstock - all so fun!

I pulled out my pack of Spellbinders Embroidery Hoop frames that I had picked up recently and wanted to put to use - it seemed perfect for this project, and was the perfect base! I first cut a circle with Basic Circles of Trend Collection Spellbinders Felt to back the hoop. Then I set about die cutting several new dies to create the decorations. I used Flourish Bear, cut from white glitter cardstock, and then added a little scarf for him from Snuggle Snowman, cut from more of the same felt to keep that texture tied in. The snowflakes were cut from some of the Card Front 2 pack using Splendid Snowflakes die, with a Mandarin Dazzling Gem in the center of each one. Sentiment was cut from Honey Gold and white cardstock using Sending Warm Hugs die, and then I tied on some Faux Silk white ribbon to give it a way to hang up! Here are more photos of this finished project:

Squirrels Want to Have Fun - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a fun fall card using a couple of cute sets from Simon Says Stamp - this layering squirrel stamp is so crazy realistic! It was super fun to pair up with some pattern paper layers!

I started off by stamping that layering squirrel from Squirrely Birthday, once in more gray tones (Flannel, Earl, and Charcoal) and once in warmer brown tones (Fawn, Cozy, and Woodsy), then die cut them with the coordinating dies. Next, I grabbed some pattern paper from the Carta Bella It's Autumn 6x6 paper pad, and layered it up on some wonky layered arrangements on a white cardbase. I added the squirrels with foam adhesive, and a sentiment stamped from the Nuts About You stamp set on a hand trimmed banner. It felt like they needed something more, so I die cut some of the new Autumn Leaves die from white cardstock and some of the pattern paper used on the cards, and tucked those around the card. Finally, I added a few Woodland Tales Gems to finish off! Here is a closer look at these two cards:

Big Bloom Birthday - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Inkon3 exclusive

Good morning! I'm back to share a card using the next of the special STAMPtember collaborations throughout the month! Each collaboration is with one of your favorite companies, is limited edition, and only available while supplies last. When it's gone, it's gone! Today's special release is one of TWO that are all being revealed today - this one is Inkon3

I hadn't done paper pieceing in some time, and this image just felt like it was calling out for the technique! The big beautiful bloom was perfect! I stamped it off the edge of my A2 white cardbase, then stamped it again on the same size pieces of pattern paper from Carta Bella That's My Girl 6x6 paper pad. I fussy cut the images out, then used a glue pen to adhere them over the stamped image. A super fun and detailed look, but fairly quick and easy to recreate! I stamped and die cut the sentiment, then popped it up with foam, rounded off one corner, and added a few coordinating Spellbinders Woodland Tales embellishments to finish off! Here is a closer look:

Floral Layered Sorry Cards - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I have a couple floral layered cards to share today with some supplies from Simon Says Stamp. I also have a couple cards up on the Simon Says Stamp blog today, and these cards started off with some leftovers from those cards actually! You can see those cards HERE if you want more info - I love how they came out!

The circles are what I started off with for these cards - leftover from the windows I cut in the cards shared on the SSS blog today using Basic Circles dies. I added some more pattern paper from the same Carta Bella Secret Garden paper pad for a background and used extra bits to add stripes behind the circles. I also die cut Leaf Flourish from white cardstock, and trimmed in half to tuck behind both windows. Sentiment uses I'm Sorry die, cutting the main word from Gold Pearl cardstock, then the shadow layer from white cardstock and vellum, stacking together to soften the white cardstock slightly. Secondary sentiment is from the I'm Sorry sentiments stamp set, stamped in black and trimmed to add. Finished off with a few Spellbinders Satin Gold flat sequins for some finishing sparkle! Here are more photos of these cards:
