Car Decals Bear - on an Action Wobble!

In my browsing through the Car Decals handbook (which I hadn't even used yet!) I noticed this cute little bear. Since I needed a card for my little brother's birthday, it seemed like the perfect cut! I am also entering this in the Boy Crazy Challenge over at Bitten by the Bug 2.

I added some wiggly eyes, and put him on an Action Wobble - here are a couple pictures of his doing his "dance" on the wobble!!!

Finished off with a tag cut from Winter Frolic, a sentiment from My Creative Time, and some doodles around the edges.

I couldn't resist doing one last Scrappy Mom's sneak peak, and I have been playing LOTS with my Peachy Keen stamps, getting ready for next week - since I get to be the guest designer for the week!!! SOOO excited for that, and I have a couple of things ready that I can't WAIT to show you! But in the meantime, here is what I got done - and don't forget that Scrappy Mom's stamps still has FREE SHIPPING through tomorrow, so don't miss it!

I used Winter Frolic for that cute Angel, and added a Peachy Keen face. Cut a little extra so I could add a layer of bangs with pop-dots for a bit of dimension.

Added stickles to the wings and halo, as well as around the dress and cloud, did some machine stitching, and used my white gel pen to do just a bit of doodling.

Finished off with the sentiment stamped on the clouds from this new release set by Scrappy Mom's stamps:

Here is the other new release - isn't it perfect for the month of October? And $2 from the sale of each set goes directly to cancer research and support for patients and families. Isn't that even better?

sMOOches!!!

This card was SOO much fun! And I am really proud of myself - I am able to enter it in FOUR challenges!!! That is a record for me...and something I have been working on - because there are so many fun challenges I want to enter, and I have a really hard time mixing them.

So, the first challenge is over at Scrappy Mom's Stamps to use Create a Critter. The second challenge is over at More than Favors Wacky Wednesdays to use a farm theme. The third challenge is a sketch challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog. The fourth and final challenge is on the Cricut Circle Blog, to use an animal cut.

 The cow is from Create a Critter, with a Peachy Keen face from the Princess faces added to it, and some doodling, inking, and little Baker's Twine bow. The yellow and green background is from Preserves, stretched and lengthened with my Gypsy. The banner is from Winter Frolic, with a sentiment from Pink by Design. Cut the white square behind the cow, used a corner punch on it, added some doodling, and ran it through the Cuttlebug. Finished by pop-dotting the cow and the center of the banner.



Christmas cards for our neighbors

Well...I was pretty bad this year, and didn't get my Christmas cards done, but today my two daughters and I made cookies for our 3 neighbors (they have been begging for weeks to do that for them!) and they all had to have a card to go with them. So Katie, my oldest daugher (age 7) sat down with me and helped me make cards. Boy is she picky!!! When she has an idea in her head of what they should look like, she knows what she wants, and there is no talking her out of it! But that's okay - because she usually has pretty good ideas! I definately see a future cardmaker in the future!

The cuts for all 3 cards were from Winter Frolic. The gingerbread man and snowman got a Peachy Keen face added to them, and some pearl buttons as well. The sentiments were all from my Pink by Design stamps. Just added a little doodling, ribbon, and/or inking to finish them off! Not to bad - 3 cards in under an hour! Love it when they are simple and just fly out like that!



Loving you more each day!

I just love when I picture a card in my head, and it actually comes out looking the way I imagined it! Doesn't always happen, but I got lucky on this one!

The background shape came from the tag feature on Winter Frolic, the little girl and boy shape is from A Child's Year and pop dotted from the background, used the Cuttlebug on the background, some ribbon, a Prima Flower with a button for the center, a stamped sentiment from my stash, and lots of gray inking.

Pink and Blue Spirit of Christmas

This card is for a color challenge over on My Pink Stamper's blog. You had to create something using two shades of blue, two shades of pink, and black. Now...this card doesn't have MUCH black, but it does have a little on the faces on the stars! And I think I used about 3 shades of blue too! The colors were pretty non-traditional for Christmas, but I was really in the mood to make a Christmas card, so this is what happened!

I used Winter Frolic's border feature for the stars and then the phrase, added some Peachy Keen Faces, topped them off with Stickles and lots of Glossy Accents, and pop-dotted them both. The picture doesn't show the colors entirely true...the pink is a little more pink thank it looks in the picture, but it is close enough to give you an idea!



Warmest wishes

Funny how sometimes you sit down to make something specific, and when you are done, you have something you love, but it is NOTHING at all like what you planned on! I was going to make a card with either a snowman, gingerbread man, or Christmas lights - and this is what ended up coming from that plan! Nonetheless, I am in love with this one!

Both cuts came from Winter Frolic, with the border feature. Used, of course, some Peachy Keen stamps, these are from the Everyday Faces Assortment, added a Pink By Design sentiment from the Winter Fun set, some Glossy Accents, lots of inking, and a bit of doodling. Enjoy!

I really LOVE this one!

Okay, I don't know what it is about this card, maybe the paper and the colors, but I really LOVE this card! The cute little girl holding the presents is from Winter Frolic - I love all the things that you can do with this cartridge, that aren't necessarily Christmas-y. It is a very versatile cartridge. Anyway, added a face from my Peachy Keen Princess faces stamps, some ribbon and faux stitching, a stamp with some pop-dotting and some Prima Flowers to hold it up. The first picture shows the whole card, including the inside, and the second picture shows it when it is actually set up properly.Thanks for looking!

Birds of a feather

Well, I cut it kind of close, but I got it done! This is for the weekly challenge on the Cricut Circle blog - the challenge was to create a project with birds, at least two Cricut cuts, and stitching of some kind (machine or hand). The little birds in their cage are from Winter Frolic, the scallop background is from Gypsy Wanderings, and the stamp sentiment are from My Pink Stamper's Tweety Hoo Puns set (my winnings from a previous challenge I entered!). Picked up some twine at Joann's today, and used that for the stitching around the scallop, and added a little ribbon along the bottom, as well as some inking.
