Miss You Cottage - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Last week while getting ready to go camping for the weekend, I spotted a couple things in my leftovers and extras pile (tell me I'm not the only one who has one of those?!?), and had a burst of inspiration! This card came together so quickly using a mix of supplies from Simon Says Stamp, and while I probably never would have pulled these items out together to create this card, I love how all the elements came together in this quirky design!

That adorable little house was stamped in black and clear heat embossed using the adorable Cottagecore set - leftover from another project that I took in a different direction. I had a partially die cut circle that was also something I hadn't ended up using as I planned - die cut from an A2 panel using the largest of the Stitched Circles dies. I pulled out a fun assortment of colored cardstock - Cornflower, Honey, and Green Leaf, and trimmed strips in two different sizes. I tucked the larger ones at an angle across a white cardbase, then added the partial circle panel with foam adhesive, and the house tucked in over that with more foam adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from Classic Friendship directly on the cardbase, then die cut a few hearts using an older set called Mini Hearts and some Lipstick cardstock to look like they were popping out of the chimney. I added glitter drops on those hearts for extra sparkle, added the thin strips of cardstock to the bottom of the card, and finished off with some May Arts Natural jute string wrapped around and tied in a bow! Firefighter Hero - Simon Says Stamp Shine On Release

Good morning! I'm back with another card today using the BRAND NEW Shine On Release from Simon Says Stamp. Today's card is a bit near and dear to my own heart and family! My dad was a volunteer firefighter when I was growing up, and both my brother and sister have been on local volunteer fire departments for years. My sister-in-law is fire commissioner for their rural fire department, and my nephew recently joined his local fire department as well. When I saw the new firefighting items in this release, I just knew I had to create something with them!

I decided to make a watercolor/ink smooshed background for my card. I used a mix of Citrine, Sherbet, and Cranberry inks, layering them up for a bright fire effect. While that dried, I die cut the new Firefighter die from black cardstock for the main image, and Sea Glass for the water coming from the hose. I also stamped my sentiments from the new Brave Firefighter stamp set, using that same Sherbet ink for the main sentiment. I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Text coordinating dies to cut the banner for the secondary sentiment - it was a perfect fit! I added some Nuvo glitter drops on top of the water, a few Pinkfresh enamel dots, and a good splatter of gold from my Starry Colors palette to finish off! Here is a closer look:

Scallop Arches - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! After the card I made yesterday, I had some leftover pieces, and realized they would be fun to put together on another card! I added a few other die cut pieces to bring it all together, and I love the fun colors and feminine layers! These dies from Simon Says Stamp are so versatile!

I used the leftover inner pieces from yesterday's card cut with the A2 Arches die and then die cut several more Scalloped Arches from white to layer together. The cardstock colors were still Sage and Honey cardstock, then Rainbow Splash Caramel cardstock. I adhered them all together, then mounted on a Cream cardbase with thin foam adhesive. I also die cut a few of the Whirl Butterflies, and a tiny heart from Basic Hearts die. Sentiment is from Inspirational Quotes stamp set, and I again added a few Nuvo glitter drops on the heart add some sparkle. Finished off with a few coordinating Gold, Sprout, and Butter gems! Rainbow Arch Card - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! As part of my searching for inspiration on Pinterest, I came across so many adorable rainbow images - and the idea popped into my head to use a couple different arch dies from Simon Says Stamp to create my own rainbow! I love how this one turned out, and used some color inspiration that I thought was so unexpected but cute!

I used the A2 Arches die and the Scalloped Arches die, cutting various sizes of the nesting A2 Arches together to create a rainbow arch. I used Sage and Honey cardstock, then Rainbow Splash Caramel cardstock. I trimmed off the bottom so that instead of a full arch frame on each of them, they turned into the rainbow shape. I adhered those to my cardbase using foam strips for the inner and outer arch, then liquid glue for the scalloped one, and added some tiny doodled dots with a fine line Sharpie. I also die cut a few of the Whirl Butterflies, and a tiny heart from Basic Hearts die. Sentiment is from Inspirational Quotes stamp set, and then I rounded off one corner of the card. Finally, some Nuvo glitter drops on the heart add some sparkle, and a few coordinating Gold, Sprout, and Butter gems finish it off! Here is a closer look at the final card:

So Much Love - Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Moments Release

 Good morning! Today I've got another card to share using some of the Beautiful Moments Release from Simon Says Stamp! I created THIS card for the release, and had a few of the lovely florals leftover that I had to put to use - they were too pretty to waste!

I also had an unused die cut Rounded Heart, and that stamped sentiment from Good Greetings 1 that I hadn't used on another project, so I added the sentiment, and tucked the florals and greenery from Wildflower Bucket die around it on the heart. I had a panel already embossed with the Fanfare Embossing folder, so I tore the edges all the way around for some texture, then wrapped and tied some Lawn Fawn white twine around that panel before adhering to my white cardbase with thin foam adhesive. I added the heart with more foam adhesive, and then embellished with a few Clear Dazzling Gems, and added Nuvo glitter drops to the centers of the flowers for extra sparkle! Postage Scene Duo - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today's cards feature fun little scenes, and sentiments that make a great focal point all on their own. Together, they make a perfect combo! I used lots of different supplies from Simon Says Stamp to put these sweet cards together!

I started off by stamping my images and sentiments from Love is in the Air and Your Joy stamp sets on some Altenew Hot Press watercolor paper - this is the one that has a smooth surface, so easier to stamp on. I stamped both images off one edge of the paper instead of just stamping in the center, just to give them a bit more interest. Then I just relaxed, listened to an audiobook, and watercolored the images with my Altenew watercolor palette! Once those finished and dried, I added a white A2 Postage Rectangles behind them to frame them, and mounted each one on colored cardstock, using Sage and Cotton Candy. Finished off with some coordinating Dazzling Gems in Sprout and Bubblegum, and some Nuvo Blizzard glitter drops on the air balloons and the heart carved in the tree trunk.
