Simple Quirky Daisies - Simon Says Stamp Shine On Release

Good morning! Today I've got a more clean and simple floral card, a little more on the cute and quirky side, but still using the new Shine On Release from Simon Says Stamp. I love how floral cards can go anywhere from more elegant and fancy like last night's card, to cute and modern like today's card! Which style is your favorite?

For this card, I also used a new die set that is mostly designed for a larger size card - the A7 Arches die. The great thing about using this die for smaller sized cards is that it is taller and thinner, so you get an entirely different look. I love how it almost feels like the right size for stained glass! I cut a window from an A2 panel of white cardstock, then nested the same size and one size larger to create a frame from Ivory glitter cardstock. I backed the window with some Rainbow Splash Caramel cardstock, and popped the front panel up with foam adhesive. I die cut the new Quirky Daisies die set from Rainbow Splash Emerald cardstock, Simon Says Stamp Honey cardstock, and then white cardstock, and assembled, then tucked the bottom under the lower edge of the frame, and the flowers up with foam adhesive. Sentiment is from Cottagecore Flowers set, and a tiny row of Clear Dazzling Gems went up in the top right side of the arch. A tiny bow cut from Little Bows die set and more of the same glitter cardstock is the final touch! Here is a closer look:

Bright Vintage Notecards - Tim Holtz June coordinating die release

Good morning! I've got one last thing to share with the June 2026 installment of Tim Holtz coordinating dies that released recently from Simon Says Stamp! This time instead of one card, I'm sharing a sweet little set of notecards! They are the small 4 Bar notecards from SSS, and the perfect size to let these sweet little images shine. And I found a fun way to do the banner dies to add extra dimension!

I started off by die cutting and creating the backgrounds. I used Lime, Lake, Heather, and Princess Color Splash cardstocks, cut with the Crimped A2 Rectangles, then cut watercolor paper using a smaller sized A2 Rectangles die. On the watercolor paper, I blended the coordinating ink colors of Lime, Lake, Heather, and Princess onto two corners of the panels, then misted with some water for a watercolor effect. While those dried, I stamped and heat embossed my images from Tiny Things and Tiny Things 2 sets, stamping in Nocturne ink, then clear heat embossing for extra shine. I die cut them each with their coordinating dies. I also stamped the "Hello Friend" from Tiny Text a few times, and die cut with the smallest banner die from the coordinating die set. I also cut the next largest banner die for each one to layer underneath. That way, when I adhered them together with foam adhesive, it gave them a more dimensional banner look - and it was so easy! I added some Black Splatter to my little cardbases, then assembled all my layers, using Big Momma foam adhesive so I could have lots of layers, but they wouldn't get too thick. Finished off with a few Clear Dazzling gems for the final touch of sparkle! Here is a closer look at each of these sweet cards:

Scallop Arches - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! After the card I made yesterday, I had some leftover pieces, and realized they would be fun to put together on another card! I added a few other die cut pieces to bring it all together, and I love the fun colors and feminine layers! These dies from Simon Says Stamp are so versatile!

I used the leftover inner pieces from yesterday's card cut with the A2 Arches die and then die cut several more Scalloped Arches from white to layer together. The cardstock colors were still Sage and Honey cardstock, then Rainbow Splash Caramel cardstock. I adhered them all together, then mounted on a Cream cardbase with thin foam adhesive. I also die cut a few of the Whirl Butterflies, and a tiny heart from Basic Hearts die. Sentiment is from Inspirational Quotes stamp set, and I again added a few Nuvo glitter drops on the heart add some sparkle. Finished off with a few coordinating Gold, Sprout, and Butter gems! Here are more photos of the final card:

Rainbow Arch Card - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! As part of my searching for inspiration on Pinterest, I came across so many adorable rainbow images - and the idea popped into my head to use a couple different arch dies from Simon Says Stamp to create my own rainbow! I love how this one turned out, and used some color inspiration that I thought was so unexpected but cute!

I used the A2 Arches die and the Scalloped Arches die, cutting various sizes of the nesting A2 Arches together to create a rainbow arch. I used Sage and Honey cardstock, then Rainbow Splash Caramel cardstock. I trimmed off the bottom so that instead of a full arch frame on each of them, they turned into the rainbow shape. I adhered those to my cardbase using foam strips for the inner and outer arch, then liquid glue for the scalloped one, and added some tiny doodled dots with a fine line Sharpie. I also die cut a few of the Whirl Butterflies, and a tiny heart from Basic Hearts die. Sentiment is from Inspirational Quotes stamp set, and then I rounded off one corner of the card. Finally, some Nuvo glitter drops on the heart add some sparkle, and a few coordinating Gold, Sprout, and Butter gems finish it off! Here is a closer look at the final card:

Masculine ConGRADulations - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I recently shared a graduation card that I really loved - and this past weekend, I decided it would be fun to recreate it, and just change up the colors to more masculine tones! This adorable graduation set from Simon Says Stamp (which was designed by my daughter), is so perfect for this fun layout. You can see the original card HERE if you want to see how different they look! This design could very easily be customized in the school colors of your graduate as well!

I used the little frames from the Thin Frames die set again for this card, each piece cut from Rainbow Splash cardstock again, just choosing different colors. I also cut some thin strips of the same colors to add to the background. I stamped several images from the Graduation Greetings set in Nocturne ink, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder for shine. I then arranged those dainty frames on a Stitched Rectangle panel, and adhered the sentiment and images over the top with foam adhesive. I adhered that panel over the background with more thin foam adhesive, and then finished off with a few Black Dazzling Gems to keep it from being too sparkly, but still add some interest. Here is a closer look at this version:

Bright ConGRADulations - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! It's that time of year again - graduation season! And Simon Says Stamp released a couple new graduation stamp sets on the sly a couple weekends ago as a free-with-purchase promo. They are also now available on the website to purchase. One of those sets was a cute little Rainbow Splash set that my daughter designed, and you know I was just itching to pull it out and create with it, right? And when I saw the leftover frame pieces from the card I shared a couple days ago, this design just clicked into place perfectly!

I used the little frames from the Thin Frames die set from THIS card that I already posted, and were all die cut from Rainbow Splash cardstock. I adhered that panel over the background with more thin foam adhesive, and then finished off with a sprinkle of tiny coordinating Dazzling Gems in Taffy, Mandarin, Surf, and Sprout! Here are more photos of this bright and fun card:
