Annoying Gnome - Simon Says Stamp Card

Good morning! I'm stopping by today with a funny and quirky little gnome card! I'm using a fun Simon Says Stamp wafer thin die and sentiment stamp set to create this card. Gnomes are all the rage right now, and I thought it would be fun to pair this one up with a funny and snarky little sentiment!

I started off with the adorable little gnome die from the already SOLD OUT Simon Says Stamp December Kit of the Month - but he is also available all on his own HERE! I die cut all the layers from white cardstock, then colored him in with Copic markers. Love how this allows him to be customized!

I layered together some pattern paper from two different companies, adding a torn edge to the yellow paper on the bottom to ground my gnome. I used my Corner Chomper to round the edges of my panel.

Sentiment was added with white heat embossing from the adorable Playful Messages stamp set - one of my favorites that always makes me laugh!

Finally, I added a little coordinating yellow enamel heart, and mounted the entire panel with foam on a white cardbase.

Happy Birthday Bunny

Good morning! One of the items I had to pick up from the New Beginnings Release from Simon Says Stamp was the darling Spring Seeds Stamp set - most particularly for this darling bunny image!

I was delighted to discover I had tiny sentiments from several other stamp sets that also fit perfectly in the banner - which helps stretch this stamp set well beyond just the spring theme it was designed for. This "Happy Birthday" sentiment came from Sketch Ranunculus and was a perfect fit!

I stamped the image and sentiment on a Stitched Banner that I trimmed a bit off the top of. I colored it up with Copic markers and then covered the details of the image with Glossy Accents to make it pop a bit. The pattern paper from Dear Lizzy's Lovely Day 6x6 Paper pad was the PERFECT one to use with this image! Finished off with a bit of jute twine and a few Pretty Pink Posh Pewter sequins.

SSS STAMPtember Release - Grateful

Hello! So excited - because the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release is LIVE and ready to go shopping!!! I have a shaker card using a new die, as well as the new SSS Glimmery Cardstock and SSS vellum in a shaker card:

I absolutely adore the font of this Grateful Wafer Die - and love the way it is a two step die - so unique and fun! I added a coat of Glossy Accents to the yellow words as well.

I made this into a shaker card with vellum to back the words - super hard to see in the photos, but I filled it with that iridescent star confetti that is also stuck on the front of the card - you can see it peeking through a bit in this photo:

The new shimmer paper is super fun too - fun and frosty colors, and the texture is fun too!

I used some adhesive to randomly stick some of the star confetti on the front of the card and wrapped some jute twine around in a loose bow to finish.

Rectangle die finishes off the shaker portion, and the pattern paper in the back is from an American Crafts paper pad - love how the colors set everything off just right!

You are Amazing Flamingo

Good morning! I'm back with another card today using the new Among the Stars release from Simon Says Stamp! I played a lot with the pineapple from the Warm Weather Stamp Set with Matching Dies before - but today I finally popped out that little flamingo that was calling my name too and put together this bright happy card! Doesn't it just scream summer to you?!?!?

I did some ink smooshing on the background with distress inks - originally I was going to do a blue background, but as I was looking through my distress inks, and pulling out Abandoned Coral for the flamingo - Twisted Citron just practically jumped out at me! Totally had to use it for the background, and SOOO glad I did it that way!

The sentiment is from another set I loved and only recently got my hands on called Sketch Ranunculus - I loved the sentiments on it and have a feeling they will be super versatile! Added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins, jute twine, a scallop border and some pretty pattern paper along the bottom, and popped up the flamingo using clear foam adhesive so it wouldn't show!
