Crazy Dog Holiday Card - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Aall & Create exclusive

Good morning! I'm back to share a card using the next of the special STAMPtember collaborations throughout the month! Each collaboration is with one of your favorite companies, is limited edition, and only available while supplies last. When it's gone, it's gone! Today's special release is from Aall & Create:

This stamp set - Christmas Magic - was not really usual style, but I wanted to stretch myself, and I love the way this card design turned out! It would be super easy to recreate with lots of different images too! I started off by stamping that funny dog in black, and heat embossing him with clear ink. I then used A2 Scalloped Rectangles dies paired with More A2 Rectangles to die cut some layers, using Echo Park Christmas Joy 6x6 paper pad. I trimmed out part of one piece of the pattern paper to use for my sentiment, and added a loopy twine bow at the top, held in place with a couple tiny staples. Used foam adhesive to layer things together, and finished off with a few enamel dots to embellish! Here is a closer look at this card:

Vintage Floral Layer Cards - Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share a couple more cards using the new March 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Mix and Match Butterflies! This month's kit is full of fluttery fun! The included stamp set by the same name has some lovely butterfly images and sentiments, and there is a coordinating die for one of the butterflies! There is also a fun embossing folderlovely pattern paper and some cute embellishments...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For these cards I mostly focused on the fun Tim Holtz acetate ephemera and the pattern paper. I layered those up, and decided to use acetate to attach them together. To add a bit more interest, I used the tiny heart die in the kit on the matte gold cardstock, and added those with the staples through all 3 layers. I also tucked my stamped sentiments under one of those hearts, and attached it on the outer edge with a bit of foam adhesive. I finished off with some of the cute gems in the kit, and adhered it all to a white cardbase! Here are more photos of these cards:

Acetate Floral Card - Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share another card using the BRAND NEW April 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Poppy Perfection! This month's kit is full of beautiful poppies in stamp and pattern paper form! The included stamp set by the same name has several beautiful poppy images and fun sentiments, there is some gorgeous pattern paper, some fun acetate decorative elements, sequin mix...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

Today's card looks like tons of layers and work...but was actually pretty easy to create! Read on to see how!

That amazing main floral image? That is one of the beautiful Idea-ology Transparent layers that was in the kit. Isn't it stunning?

I really wanted to let that shine, so I tore the edges of some white cardstock down to a panel sized just slightly larger than that acetate panel. I heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set in Antique Gold on vellum, then attached all three of those layers together with my Tiny Attacher stapler. No need to worry about hiding any adhesive!

I mounted that panel with a thin layer of Big Momma foam tape over some of the pattern paper that I used on the first card I shared a couple days ago.

Finally, some of the flat Gilded sequins included in the kit were the perfect finishing touch to embellish this card!

Mini Slimline Birthday Balloon Duo - Simon Says Stamp Be Creative Release

Good morning! I'm dropping by to share my first couple of cards using the Be Creative Release from Simon Says Stamp! Lots of fun items in this release - particularly exciting for me were a few birthday sets, and since that is the card I use and am asked for the most, I was so happy to be able to create some cards to build my stash!

I'm starting off by sharing a pair of mini slimline cards. I love using one background panel to create two cards like this!

I started off by heat embossing the new Bunch of Balloons background stamp in gold on watercolor cardstock. I then taped it down to a board, misted it well with water, and sprinkled on 3 different colors of Shimmer Powders: Atlantis Burst, Falling Leaf, and Blue Blitz.

I let them sit and mix - pooling in the different areas of the embossing powder. I tried a bit to aim inside the balloons, then mix the colors where the balloons overlapped. It wasn't perfect, but I love the effect, and these colors are so fun!

Once those dried thoroughly, I trimmed the panels in half, and matted them with white cardstock to help give them a border to set them off from the cardbases.

I heat embossed a sentiment from the new Big Old Birthday stamp set in gold on strips of vellum, then attached those at the top with my Tiny Attacher. I did them in cross patterns for fun. I added a tiny drop of glue behind one of the letters on the bottom word - this attached them so they stayed down, but left the illusion of them floating free.

Finally, I popped them up with foam adhesive on some Green Apple cardbases - to help that lovely green pop, and add some fun dimension!

I feel like these colors are more masculine, but wouldn't they be fun in pinks and reds and oranges?!? I may have to try that sometime!

Soak up the Sunshine - Simon Says Stamp July 2022 Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in to share another card using the BRAND NEW July 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - You Shine! This month's kit a fun mix of juicy and fresh, and yet with a bit of a vintage flair! The included stamp set by the same name has some fresh fun images and great sentiments, there is a fun little stencil/die cut combo, of course some sweet pattern paperFoundry wax...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelope, and more!

Today's card is a very simple card, mostly featuring some of the beautiful pattern paper in the kit!

I love how striking the black envelope is - and how it sets off the lovely layers of pattern paper with this card.

I tore the edges of one of the pattern papers for texture, and layered it over one of the more solid papers.

I also created a fun little bow element using some scrap strips of pattern paper, one piece adhered down flat, then another piece formed into a loop and attached with mini staples. Such a simple and fun embellishment!

Valentine Note Card Set - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in today with a little set of cards using BRAND NEW February 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Season of Sentiments! My kit this month took a bit of a detour and came later than normal, so it took me a bit longer to get something created to share. :) This month's kit is filled with sweet valentine themed products! The included stamp set by the same name has a huge beautiful floral design, there is also a smaller stamp set with some great sentiments, of course some sweet pattern paper, a cute word die...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

I had fun with the pattern paper in this kit to quickly put together this set of 4 note cards!

These fun panels from the Simple Stories Happy Hearts 6x8 papers in the kit had 4 on one sheet of paper - I only used half of them, and still have 4 more I can create more cards with!

These papers are double sided...and the reverse side was so pretty, I wanted to at least let a small peek of it show through on the front of my card, so I folded over a corner, and added a small twine bow with my tiny stapler as a fun design element.

I also tucked some more of that pattern paper behind each one - that striped design was the perfect match for all of these! I trimmed them down to small panels to fit behind and peek out just slightly.

I adhered everything down just with an adhesive runner, but I left the edges free, and curled them up a bit with my fingers. This gives the illusion of dimension, without having to have lots of bulky weight from foam adhesive and such. One of my favorite tricks!

It also might be hard to see in the photos, but on each card, I also pulled out my favorite new white gel pen from Arteza and added a bit of detail accents. I have tried SOOO many white gel pens and struggled with them clogging, and so far, these are magical! They work SOOO well!

Finally, a little row of sparkly Glacier Jewels in the bottom corner to add a touch of sparkle and balance the design!

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can see it all HERE:

Which design is your favorite? I'm a bit partial to the balloons...although that fun frosty drink makes me think of bubble tea which I love, so that is fun too!
