Teal Textured Notes - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping by today with a couple cards using some supplies from Simon Says Stamp - I shared a couple similar cards a couple months ago, and wanted to recreate them with cooler color tones, different sentiments, and a slightly different look - I really love how these ones came out too! You can see the original ones HERE if you would like!

I once again used the Exotic Vines 3D embossing folder - it really is a lovely all purpose one! I used a different color of Concord and 9th cardstock, and like before, dampened both sides when I ran it through my die cut machine. This helped get a nice and deep impression. I cut the panel in half diagonally, then added some silver Luxe Glitter cardstock along the edge for a glamorous touch - instead of the warmer tone on the other cards. I mounted these panels with some thin foam adhesive for just a touch of dimension, leaving a thin white border on the two straight sides. I then stamped sentiments from the Just a Note Notes stamp set, rounded off one corner of the card, and finished off with a few Silver Metallic pearls to finish. Here are more photos of these two cards:

Sending Love and Light Shaker Cards - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping by today with a few more cards using some supplies from Simon Says Stamp - these were kind of a creative use of the negative space from some cards I made last month, and I love the different look I got with these!

I used the Sparkling Candles die to cut out of the center of my panel of white cardstock, then created a shaker element, backed with pieces of Holiday Color Blend cardstock, and filled with Iridescent Star confetti. They needed some interest, so I stamped some corner frames around them from Ornate Borders and Frames stamp set. The sentiment is from Big Holiday Words, heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock. I added some hearts cut from the same paper behind the shaker windows using Tiny Hearts die, and tucked those around the sentiments, adding a bit of Blizzard Nuvo glitter drops over the top for extra sparkle. I then embellished with a mix of Clear and Black Dazzling Gems for extra sparkle! Here are more photos of this trio of cards:

Deck the Halls Stars - Pinkfresh Studio Craft Along Card

Good morning! Last year we started something new at Pinkfresh called Craft Along - we just finished the October Craft Along last night, and registration is now open for the next one in November - which also happens to be the final one for 2024, since we are taking a break for December! What is Craft Along? Well, it's basically a mini event, that is far more affordable and flexible for those who want community, crafting, and connection, but perhaps want the flexibility to use what they already have, or purchase a smaller bundle at a discount. We include alternatives to our chosen sets to give you all the options, and some previous month's attendees even came up with other fabulous options! You can always check out all our event options HERE for more info.

The event is through a private Zoom link - so you are able to chat, ask questions, and we can even see your lovely faces if you wish! You are (of course!) welcome to leave your camera off, and your sound muted as well if you are more comfortable with that. It has been so fun to be able to see some of your lovely faces as you crafted as well.

Since this was part of that event, I'm not going to share any details of how I created it - but I wanted to share some photos, and I've included a supply list at the bottom as well. I really love this card I created for the October Craft Along - and can't wait to share my November one with you all as well! We also have two optional bundles of supplies, so you can choose to use what you already own, or grab the bundles at a discount if you wish - since November is slightly older product, we were able to offer a slightly larger discount than normal too! We hope you will join us for this fun adventure and event! You can find all the details HERE for registering for the event, as well as the bundles HERE  and HERE at a discount if you don't have the product or something similar you'd like to create with.

O Holy Night - Simon Says Stamp Stained Glass Christmas Holiday Card Kit

Hello! I'm dropping by tonight to share a few cards that I created using the BRAND NEW Holiday Card kit from Simon Says Stamp - the Stained Glass Christmas Card Kit (I believe the full kit is sold out - but the elements I used are all available separately). It was available as a pre-order, and will ship in late October to mid November. This is such a pretty collection, and so loaded with fun supplies to kick start your holiday cardmaking! I created this set of cards that were so super quick and easy to put together, featuring the beautiful stamp set and pattern paper in the kit - and there is so much more fun to be had in this kit!

I created a shaker card using the Arched Christmas Star die - I used some of the pattern paper to back it, and filled it with Iridescent Star confetti - so pretty! I added my sentiment stamped below, and a simple row of Champagne Glitter Drops in the top left corner to set it off. Here are more photos of this card:

Merry Little Christmas - Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share a few more cards using the newest November 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Christmas Cheer! This month's kit has a fun holiday feel to it! The included stamp set by the same name features some festive images and sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There are some scene building punch out elements, gorgeous pattern paper, a fun embossing folder, specialty paper, some fun bakers twine...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For my cards today I'm featuring the included Craft Consortium Holiday Market 3D Decoupage set - so fun to punch out all the elements and adhere them together! While the set includes foam adhesive squares, I didn't want so much dimension in between all the many layers. So I pulled out some of my cardstock scraps, and used small pieces of them between each layer, adding liquid glue to hold everything together. So when you look at these, there is the perfect touch of dimension, without making them terribly bulky! I added the scroll elements at the top and bottom from the stamp set in the kit to set off the fun scenes, tied a twine bow to adhere to the top of each, then stamped the sentiments and trimmed them down to small banners to complete these cards. Here are more photos, and close ups to show the dimension:

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can see it all HERE:

Rejoice a Savior is Born - Simon Says Stamp Stained Glass Christmas Holiday Card Kit

Hello! I'm dropping by tonight to share a few cards that I created using the BRAND NEW Holiday Card kit from Simon Says Stamp - the Stained Glass Christmas Card Kit. It is available as a pre-order, and will ship in late October to mid November - so this is your chance to get it on pre-order! This is such a pretty collection, and so loaded with fun supplies to kick start your holiday cardmaking! I created this set of cards that were so super quick and easy to put together, featuring the beautiful stamp set and pattern paper in the kit - and there is so much more fun to be had in this kit!

I just love the beautiful stamp set in this kit - and the coordinating die provides so many additional options as well! I started by stamping and heat embossing the 3 different stained glass window options on some of the pattern paper in the kit. I then created a window from a panel of white cardstock with each of the coordinating dies, since each of the window shapes is slightly different. I added some splatter to the cardbases with the Fossilized Amber distress spritz in the kit, and mounted those panels on the cardbases, and the windows up with foam adhesive over the top. Added the sentiments, heat embossing the main sentiment in gold and die cutting with the coordinating die, then stamping the secondary sentiment in black and trimming into a small banner. Finished these off with a few Clear Gems with Gold Dust. Here are more photos of these finished cards:
