Spread Your Wings and Fly - Lil' Inker's Designs Butterflies

Good morning! Dropping by today to share a card that I created with some recently released stamps from Lil' Inker Designs, paired up with some Hero Arts ombre inks!

The beautiful Spread Your Wings stamp set is full of fabulous sentiments and lovely butterflies! I used 3 different shades of Hero Arts Ombre ink (colors linked below), and stamped lots of butteflies along one side of the card.

I added a sentiment stamped in black on the bottom right corner.

Finished off with a good dose of gold splatters using my Starry Colors Palette - can you see the sparkle and shine?!?!?

Blue Swan Background - Pinkfresh Card

Good morning!Back again today to share some more of the MANY cards I made right before Creativation using some BRAND NEW Pinkfresh Studio stamps! They were for display at the show and I had so much fun playing with all the new stamps and dies. This card is actually one of the ones I heard they got the most questions about how I put it together, so it seemed like a good idea to share it here!

I started off with the adorable new Itty Bitty Elements stamp set, and stamped the swan in a repeating pattern using Hero Arts Ombre Ink. I turned the ink pad after the center row so that my top and bottom were the lightest spot, and the centers were the deepest. I planned on keeping it very clean and simple at this point - but it kept feeling like it needed something more - so I kept adding to it! The little stars came from the new Magical Unicorn Stamp set, the little circles and sentiment came from the new Word Series: Brilliant, and the soft gray circles (a bit hard to see in the photos) is from the new Birds and Bows stamp set - as well as the dotted lines that run in a row under the swans to mimic water (also a bit hard to see in the photos).

Once all everything was stamped on the main panel, I also added a bit of gold splatter with my Starry Colors Palette. While that dried, sentiment was heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock with one edge trimmed at an angle. I die cut the front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die before mounting with foam on a SSS Fog cardbase.

Concord and 9th - Hooray Bundle

Good morning! Back again today with my third guest designer post for Concord and 9th's BRAND NEW release! Today we are showcasing the Hooray Bundle. You can check out the other guest designers and their takes on the Concord and 9th blog HERE!

I have to admit, I wasn't quite sure what to do with the Hooray Ribbon Dies - they looked a little intimidating to me! However, they could NOT have been any easier to use! It comes together SOOOO very easy - and I love the fun 3D effect that was so simple to create! These would be fun for gift tags, name tags, prizes for kids birthday parties or events - SOOO many fun ways to use them!

I ran score lines around the outside of my white card base (for SOME reason I can't get them to show in the photo!) - then masked those off, and added some black ink splatters. The perfect way to add some interest to the background before adding this fabulous ribbon.

Then, I decided to use the Hooray Stamp Set on it's own to create these CAS birthday cards - they came together in a snap!

I used various Hero Arts ombre inks - adds a bit of interest to the striped background.

I stamped my sentiments (quick trivia...can you spot which one is different than the other two? It's the first one I did, and I changed how I stamped one part because I liked it better). I added some white gel pen on the inside portion of the "happy birthday" to make it pop a little more off the colored stripes.

I also used some of the fab sentiments from the Hooray Stamp Set (and the little heart from the Hooray Ribbon Dies) on this card that I posted the first week when we were featuring the Sunshine Turnabout - you can read more details of this one HERE if you are interested:

Winnie and Walter January Release - Premier Day 2

Good morning! Back again today sharing more sneak peeks with the BRAND NEW Winnie and Walter Release - it is one HUGE release - packed with beautiful stamps and dies, many of which have a baby theme that is timeless! All new releases will be available on the 3rd of February!

Today I'm sharing a couple cards with the brand new free with $25 purchase set - and it is a SERIOUSLY adorable set! I used it two slightly different ways on my cards today!

This first card I also used a fun new die set Essentials: Lana Cutaways with fun postage stamp shapes and little elements. I stamped the main heart and several of the other little hearts in Hero Arts ombre ink, added some jute twine, and finished off with some coordinating pattern paper. Easy peasy, right?

And now - this is where the real magic of this stamp set is! There are coordinating stamps for the "thanks" and "heart" so you can stamp in that part with different colors of ink! EEEK! Can I just say how exciting this is?!?!?

I also used a cute little banner element from Essentials: Lana Cutaways, some fun pattern paper, a bit of silver thread, and some clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh to finish off.
