Love You Floral Circle - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! I had a bit of time to play this weekend, and randomly started putting together a few items I had leftover from other projects, or just items that I hadn't ended up using for one reason or another. All supplies are from Simon Says Stamp, and it was super fun to give them some new life!

I started off with an embossed background using Pinnacle Hearts on white cardstock for some simple background texture. I layered together a couple of circles die cut with Basic Circles from white and black cardstock, then layered over some leftover stamped and die cut florals from Blessings at Easter. They were stamped in Zest, Apple, Amethyst, Surf, and Dublin inks. Sentiment was a mix of the top sentiment from Loving Thoughts, and the larger sentiment at the bottom from Just a Note Notes, and I matted that one in black cardstock as well. Tucked some black and white baker's twine in there, tied in a bow, and popped a dot of Nuvo Drops in Blizzard in the center of each flower, then finished off with a few Surf Dazzling gems to finish off! Here is a closer look at this finished card:

Vintage Soaring Swallows Cards - Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine Release

Good morning! I'm back with a a couple more cards today featuring some new Rain or Shine Release from Simon Says Stamp! These cards use the same supplies for a two for one design, and shows two ways to use this one fabulous embossing folder!

These were definitely a two for one design! I started off by embossing the Soaring Swallows 3 times - once each with white, Sage, and Rainforest cardstock. I then used the coordinating die to cut the swallows out of the sage one - I LOVE how perfectly they cut, and how detailed that image is! I did some ink blending with Pine ink on the Rainforest panel, and for the sage, I applied my clear embossing ink directly to the leaves, and added clear embossing powder and heat set. A fun way to add some texture and shine! I mounted the sage panel over the white embossed panel - that way the embossed white birds showed up in the negative space, then added some white splatters, and some splatters with the pine ink, smooshed on a clear block and picked up with a wet brush. In hindsight, I would have done it before adding the white birds, but I kind of like how it turned out with the splatters on the birds as well, so it worked out! For the deeper one, I added white and gold splatters, then adhered the sage birds over the top. Added sentiments from Loving Thoughts popped up with foam, and a few of the Cottontail Embellishment mix for added shine! Here is a closer look at these finished cards and all their details:

Some Bunny Loves You Treat Bag - Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine Release

Hello! Today I've got a cute little non-card project to share using some of the Rain or Shine Release from Simon Says Stamp! I definitely tend to gravitate more often to card projects, but every once in a while it's fun to branch out a bit!

For this project, I started off by die cutting out the pieces for the Gift Bag wafer die from white cardstock. Before assembling, I added a stenciled pattern on each side using Argyle Builder layering stencils, and Sprout, Fairway, and Lemonade inks. I masked off all the other elements to keep the pattern just on those two main areas. I also added ink to the handles. Once assembled, I added one of the cute bunnies from Ear-Resistibly Cute with foam adhesive, after heat embossing in white on kraft cardstock and die cutting. Stamped and die cut a sentiment from the same set, and popped up with foam on a tag die cut with a Label Tag die. Attached that to the bag with some Lawn Fawn white twine, and this cute little goodie bag is all finished! Here are a few more photos:

Floral Thinking of You Card - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! Today I'm sharing a card putting to use an older and favorite stamp set, with a new (to me!) die set from a recent Simon Says Stamp order, to put together a floral card perfect for either sympathy or encouragement!

I started off by die cutting several pieces of florals and greenery from the Aurora Blooms dies from white cardstock. I used a Tacky Mat to blend color on them using Clay, Melon, Cheeky, and Cabbage inks. I used a bit of Tidepool ink to add some color to the white panel in the background where I was placing the florals. Before adhering everything down, I stamped the larger sentiment from Moments of Grace in black. I used liquid glue to adhere just the centers of the flowers and greenery, allowing petals and leaves to float free for dimension. The secondary sentiment is from the same stamp set, hand trimmed into a banner and mounted with foam strips. The entire panel was adhered to a Cream cardbase, and I finished off with a few Dazzling Gems in gold for some simple sparkle! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Quack Me Up - Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine Release

Hello! I've got another cute card to share today using some of the new Rain or Shine Release from Simon Says Stamp! Excuse the pun, but this CA-UTE little ducky really does "quack me up"! Haha!

I thought it would be super adorable to piece together this little Darling Duckling with pattern paper, so I pulled out the Bunnies & Baskets 6x6 paper pad - I also grabbed some colors to pull together a background. I pieced the ducky together, using one Copic marker to color the pieces for the eyes. I pieced together the blue and green, then used a Circle die to cut a window, and layered together some torn edge vellum behind the window to ground the ducky. I also tied a tiny bow around his neck using Lawn Fawn white twine. Sentiment from Farm Life was stamped on a Small Folded Banner, and then I finished off with a row of coordinating Dazzling Gems from the pastel pack! Here is a closer look at this cutie:

Spring Cards with Pretty Pink Posh - YouTube Live

Hello! Yesterday I had the fun of doing a YouTube live with my crafty friend Lea Lawson! We streamed on Lea's YT Channel, and both used some recently released items from Pretty Pink Posh that are available at Simon Says Stamp!

Here is the live video if you want to see these cards come together, or you can watch it directly on YouTube HERE:

I started off just planning to make the one tulip shaker card - and when I ended up with a little extra time, I put together the second card using the background that I had leftover from the first card! After the live finished, I ended up adding the Ivory Pearls to both cards, and then added the twine at the top of the second card. If you want to see more details of how they were created, check out the video! Here are more photos of the finished cards:

For today's card I had SOOO much fun with a couple of the new sets! This is not my usual color scheme, but I just started playing - and even though I doubted a few times along the way, I decided to trust the process and keep moving forward. I'm so glad I did! This is one of my favorite cards ever now!

I started off by die cutting the new Whimsical Branch Frame die from white cardstock, then used my SSS Craft Tacky Mat to hold it in place and blend some ink over it, using Latte, Allspice, and Mist inks, then adhered it to a white cardbase. I also used some Buttercream ink to blend over that and the cardbase to add a bit softness to the edges. Next, I die cut lots of the other elements, using Cream cardstock for the main flower images, Honey for the smaller flower centers, and Sage and Rainforest for the leaves. I clustered those around on the card, adding lots of those tiny blooms. It took a while, but SOOO worth it! Next I stamped a sentiment and some smaller elements from the new Loving Thoughts set, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I added a bit of that Buttercream ink to the edges of each of those, and adhered with foam adhesive to the card. I added a bit of Glitter drops to the centers of the flowers, and to the edges of the butterflies and bird, and finished off with some Gina K Angel Aura embellishments for some extra sparkle! Here are more photos of this finished card:
