LID Christmas Release - Day 2

Hello! Welcome back to Day 2 of the fun new release at Lil' Inker Designs - a super fun mix of stamps and dies in this release! I'm back with more fun inspiration with some of the new dies this time! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!

Today's cards are all rustic and ready for a cozy cabin style Christmas! This first one uses the fabulous new Christmas Words Tree Die! I die cut it twice from white cardstock and glued the layers together to make it a bit thicker. I die cut again with gold cardstock and trimmed just the star off to adhere at the top. That lovely background pattern paper was die cut using Stitched Mats: Rectangles. Finishing touch was some nice rustic jute twine wrapped around several times and tied in a loose bow.

Next up - another rustic feeling card, but a bit more CAS, using the fun Noel Word Die!

For this one, I also cut the die with two layers of white cardstock to stack together, then again from pattern paper to layer over the top of that. I used Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain for the background, and used a scrap of red pattern paper to run through again, trimming out just the heart part of the Woodgrain die. I adhered the Noel Word Die so that the "o" was centered over the heart. Finally, I covered all of those pieces with a good coat of Nuvo Crystal Glaze for lots of shine and extra dimension!

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!

Snowflake Thanks

Good evening! Dropping by tonight to share a wintry thank you card I made using some of my stamps, dies, and pattern paper from Reverse Confetti!

I started off by die cutting all 3 of the snowflakes in Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts out of silver glitter cardstock, and layered them together with a bit of adhesive in the centers of them.

Next, I die cut a rectangle with Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts, and stamped a sentiment on from Whole Lotta Thanks, then adhered the snowflake. I added a tiny clear droplet from Pretty Pink Posh to the center of the snowflake.

Finished off by mounting that with a foam layer over a piece of pattern paper from Warm Hearts 6x6 Paper Pad.

Here are the Reverse Confetti supplies I used on this card - click on any of the photos to get a closer look at anything:

Today I used all dies to create my a sparkly and fun Christmas shaker card!

The new Jingle All the Way die is fabulous! You can use the negative, or the positive cut - I used the negative cut, and also used Lacy Scallop Circles to create my shaker window filled with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear 3mm sequins (so cute and tiny!)

I added some glittery silver snowflakes cut with Snowflake Trio, and a bit of jute twine tied across the top. The cardstocks used are Iced Aqua and the new Stone color.

Here is a peek at the new products that I used that released today! All photos will soon be linked to the Reverse Confetti Store, or you can check out everything HERE!

Lil' Inker's October Release - Day 1

(SOOO sorry this post is late! I was a day behind it appears - and just noticed in time to get this written up now!)

Hello! It's time for a new release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is such a SUPER fun Christmas/winter theme release - so excited to finally be sharing all these projects with you!!!

Tonight I'm sharing a simple set of tags I made with those lovely word dies that are releasing tonight:

Here is a peek at those word tag dies, as well as the tag die set I used for these:

I couldn't just use one word, so I die cut them all out of silver cardstock, and then used some Lawn Fawn pattern paper for the larger layer of the tag, and some vellum for the smaller layer.

Hard to see in the photos, but I attached the silver glitter ribbon to the top of the tag with a tiny staple using my Tim Holtz tiny attacher.

I tied some jute twine around the top of each word tag, then attached them with foam adhesive so they stayed in place on the tags.

And now the fun part! There is, of course, a chance to win some shopping money to spend on the new goodies! YAY! Laura is giving away 3 gift certificates for random comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!
