Classic Christmas Mistletoe

Good morning! I'm dropping by with another card using the  newest release from Lil' Inker Designs! Also wanted to remind you one last time of the awesome sale that ends today - so make sure and check that out!

This super simple card uses the beautiful new Classic Christmas Stamp set - I just love this mistletoe image! I stamped it in simple black on kraft cardstock, then colored it in with Copic markers. I used Silly Stitched Die set to die cut some layers, then tucked in a bit of white and black cardstock to add definition between the layers.

Alcohol Ink Night Sky - Reverse Confetti Wednesday in the Works

Hello! I have a new edition of Wednesday in the Works on the Reverse Confetti Blog and YouTube Channel this morning - this week I'm featuring a fun sparkly night sky created with Alcohol Inks! I used Snowballs Cover Panel to die cut my alcohol background and Edgers Confetti Cuts to create a snowy hill for my cute critter from Snow Bunnies to sit on! And don't you just love the detail that the coordinating Snow Bunnies Dies cut out?

Snowflake Pattern Card - Simon Says Stamp Card

Good morning! I just realized that the colors on this card are the exact same as yesterday, however, on this card they are a bit more subtle and muted! This one started out with some inspiration from a pillow in a recent catalog that I received - and I pulled out some Simon Says Stamp stamp sets to recreate the background - I was so excited with how the design worked on my card! 

Here is a look at my inspiration - just a quick photo I snapped on my phone - see the pillow?

I pulled out 3 different stamp sets to put this together - it actually stamped out very quickly, and I did it freehand with no stamp positioner! I used a cardbase created with Cream cardstock, then used the snowflakes from the new stamp set in the December Card Kit - Christmas Cheer. The dotted lines were from Kind Flowers. I used Schoolhouse Red Dye Ink to stamp my pattern.

I wanted it to have a slightly more rustic look - so I added some splatter with my Pinkfresh Licorice Liquid Watercolor. I used a small brush so I would get super fine splatters. While that dried, I stamped and heat embossed several sentiments from Tiny Words Christmas on thin strips of black cardstock. I adhered those to the cardfront at wonky angles with foam adhesive, and added a few sparkly clear Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins to finish it off!

Thanks for Lending a Hand - Simon Says Stamp Winter Card

Good morning! Stopping by today with a fun card I put together that all started with an alcohol ink background! I was playing one day with alcohol inks, and came up with several backgrounds that I set aside to use at a later time. I pulled this one out and started building a scene over it with lots of Simon Says Stamp Dies - I love the way it came out! Something so striking about black, white, and red, don't you think?

This alcohol ink background was created with just one color of alcohol ink - Poppyfield - and some rubbing alcohol to thin it down and help it move. I did it in a few layers, letting it dry between each layer. So fun what you can do with just one simple color of alcohol ink!

Next up, I die cut Birch Tree Window Die from white cardstock, then used Wonky Rectangles to trim that panel and layer over my alcohol ink background. I used Drifting Stitches Border Die and some Silver Glitter Cardstock to die cut a snowy ground at the bottom for my Retro Deer die cut from black cardstock to rest on.

I then die cut Big Thanks in it's two layers of black and white and adhered them together, then added a tiny heat embossed sentiment from the coordinating Big Thanks Words Stamp Set on a thin strip of black cardstock. The deer and sentiments were adhered with foam adhesive, everything else was adhered directly on the cardbase.
