WCMD Part 3 - Silhouette LOVE cards - and Giveaway!!!

Good morning - and Happy World Card Making Day!!! I have several posts going up first thing this morning - and depending on how much I am able to play today, will hopefully have a lot more - and I also have a giveaway I am doing to celebrate! All you have to do to win is leave a comment on any of my posts today - and I will draw a winner next week. Scroll to the bottom of this post if you want to see what you could win!

All of these cards are for the "Love" category for the World Card Making Day Contest and Moxie Fab World entry. I ended up making FIVE cards for this category! I only was going to make one, but cut all these silhouettes with my Silhouette Cameo, because I couldn't decide which one I liked best and wanted to use. I ended up liking them all so much that I used them ALL! So I only posted a couple of pics of each card, instead of my usual 5 or 6 - so I could get them all in one post without being overwhelming!!!! Here is the first one:

I kept this one pretty simple, and just used some My Mind's Eye papers, a sentiment from Unity Stamps, and some foam adhesive to attach the silhouette cut. (HERE is the file for this cut in the Silhouette store)
Here is the second card I made:
This one is actually very simple as well, added some jute twine from Ribbon Carousel, paper is by My Mind's Eye, sentiment also by Unity Stamps, and a stick on gem. The silhouette is attached with foam adhesive, as well as the pattern paper panel - so two layers of dimension on this one. (HERE is the link to this cut in the Silhouette store)
Here is card #3:
This card has a bit more work put into it. I used My Mind's Eye papers as well, the sentiment is also by Unity stamps, and I added some stick on pearls and a little color with a Copic marker to the sentiment. Also added a doily and some velvet ribbon. Love how it looks like they're dancing on the red carpet! The silhouette on this one is also attached with foam adhesive. (HERE is the link to this file in the Silhouette store)
And card #4:
This is probably the most simple card of the bunch. I used some more My Mind's Eye paper, a stamped sentiment by Fiskar's, and attached the silhouette directly on the card base. No dimension at all! (HERE is the link to this file in the Silhouette store)
And last but not least, #5
This cut was just so elegant and romantic, that I just had to use these rich and elegant papers. They are also by My Mind's Eye, just a different paper pad. I added a sentiment, also from Unity Stamps, a bow with some jute twine from Ribbon Carousel, and some stick on gems. Used foam adhesive between the red and sentiment panel, and the black on the card base. (HERE is the link to this file in the Silhouette store)

Now...if you made it all the way to here - here is a picture of what you can win!!! (HERE is my favorite project made with this set - can you see why I LOVE it?!?!?!?!?) I have had this thing lately with Mason Jars - and I just ADORE this stamp set from Unity Stamp, so I got a set to giveaway on my blog! It got packed and lost in the shuffle of moving, so even though I've had it for a while, I just found it recently and thought this was the perfect opportunity to give it away! So...for a chance to win, just leave a comment on any of my posts today - the more you leave, the better your chances of winning! Due to postage, US and Canada only (unless you want to help with shipping costs - then I am happy to send it international as well!) Good luck!

No Cricut...but I am learning to LOVE clear stamps!

I used to hate stamps. I mean, really HATE stamps! Could never figure out what to do with them! And then they came out with the new clear stamps, so that you can actually see what you are doing, and where you are putting them! I tried them, and now I am hooked! Got these yesterday at JoAnns, and had to try them out. They are from Fiskars, and they work SO well, and leave such a great impression! Definately have to get more of those!
