Reverse Confetti Fall-idays Hop - Thanksgiving

Good morning! Today is the second day of a fun 3 day hop with Reverse Confetti to celebrate fall and Christmas holidays! I have a simple home decor project I put together using some lovely pattern paper and dies from Reverse Confetti!

I layered together some lovely pattern papers from the newest 6x6 paper pad, Abundant Autumn, die cutting the orange layer with Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts.

I used a bit of vellum to soften the top layer, then die cut Grateful, Thankful, Blessed Confetti Cut from Midnight Cardstock, adhered it down on the vellum, then layered everything together and put it in a 6x6 shadowbox frame that I grabbed from my local craft store for under $3 - perfect!

There is also a great sale - great time to grab anything you have your eyes on!

Here is a peek at the items I used for my project today:

Here is the entire blog hop line-up so you don't get lost along the way:

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!

Stamped Wood Slice Coasters - with Quick Tip Video

Good afternoon! I'm also posting over at the Unity Stamp Company blog - and I'm super excited to share my project with you today - I have been working on it (and perfecting it!) for a couple weeks. For a long time I have been wanting a set of coasters for my house, and having trouble finding exactly what I wanted. I'm happy now to have been able to make exactly what I was looking for!

I saw this on Pinterest - and somehow it kind of inspired me: - I love rustic stuff, so I kind of went with that!

I even made a Quick Tip video to share my process with you! Here you go:

I ended up getting 8 coasters, that was as much as my hubby could safely cut - and I told him to PLEASE not hurt himself! Now, as a side note, I purchased one larger log at Michael's, but they also had individual slices. The cost just would have added up to a lot higher - but if you don't have the capability of getting them cut, that is another great option. I also found lots of good options on Etsy - just make sure and double check the sizes. I kept thinking I saw a good set, then realized they were only 1-2 inches across...a bit small for coasters!

Here is a peek at the back - the felt works great to hold them in place and keep from scratching your surfaces.

I used the September 2015 Kit of the Month for my stamped image:

One last look - now I'm off to make a cup of tea so I can put these to good use! :)

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

Love note

Had a CRAZY day today, so when I got home, I decided to spend a few minutes making a card for the weeks Cricut Circle Challenge that ends tonight! It was supposed to be a love note, include Cuttlebug embossing, and at least 2 Cricut cuts. I also thought I would add it to the new monthly challenge on the Unity Blog as well. Click HERE to read more about that!

So...I cut the card base from Wild Card (a sadly neglected cartridge as of late!), cut the center from Preserves and used the Cuttlebug on it, and cut the word "love" from Home Decor with some Glossy Accents over it. The black hearts I hand cut after stamping in white with one of my grab bag Unity Stamps. I pop-dotted 2 of those when I stuck them down (the second picture shows that a little better). Added a bunch of faux stitching, some Baker's Twine, a couple of tiny Prima flowers, and some stick on pearls.
