Market Street Chalkboard Christmas

Good evening! Just dropping by with a quick card this evening using my (retired) Market Street Stamps and some chalkboard technique. I also did some distressing on the edges - a very rustic and fun card! Pattern paper is Echo Park, and I tucked some black jute twine and a button in beside the chalkboard panel.

I am also linking this up to the current Inspired By Challenge - LOVE the texture and cozy and rustic look!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great evening!

MCS Challenge - Wrap it Up

Good morning! There is a new challenge going this week at My Craft Spot, and I'm sharing the project that I made for last week...then life got crazy and I never had a chance to share it! So even though this isn't my week to provide inspiration, I'm joining in anyway, since this fits the new challenge this week as well - Wrap It Up!

I used a piece of of October Afternoon pattern paper from an 8x8 paper pad, scored the bottom to make a flat piece, then cut a doily with My Craft Spot's 4" Doily Die to fold across the top. I punched a couple of holes, and tied it closed with Raspberry Truffle Crinkle Ribbon and Cherry Red Traditional Baker's Twine.

I cut the banner with Straight Banner Dies and stamped my sentiment in two different colors of MFT ink using two different My Craft Spot stamp sets, "Christmas Banner Sentiments" and "Christmas Friends and Neighbors" - such a fun and funny sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you will join in the challenge this week!

Sweet Deer - Unity FWF

Good morning! I'm popping by to share a sweet little deer card that I made for a class I taught at my local scrapbook store - my first ever! EEEK! I had a lot of fun though - and I think it went pretty well! We made 6 cards in about 3 hours - was supposed to be 2 hours, but I think that was a bit ambitious! I thought I would post this today for Unity Friends with Flair:

I used the sweet Merry Deerest itty bitty (which just happens to be on sale this weekend I noticed!) - I stamped it on my white cardstock, then stamped again on green and cut out just the center portion.

Pattern paper is MME, and I added a layer of kraft paper, some pretty ribbon, then tied on some tiny little jingle bells with jute twine.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!

SPS Inspiration - Sticker Note Cards

Good morning! It's my turn to share over at Shop Pumpkin Spice today. I still haven't had much time to craft, so I was super excited yesterday afternoon to have a few spare moments to put together this super simple set of cards using some Bazzil White Cardstock, and Echo Park's 12x12 Everyday Eclectic sticker sheet

I simply made my cardbases, and adhered my stickers. I took some of the elements and powdered the back of them so I could attach foam adhesive for a bit of dimension, otherwise these are very simple one layer cards!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Christmas Tree Tags

Good morning! It's time for the second week of inspiration over at the Ribbon Carousel challenge blog - and the challenge this month is Anything Goes! I have a fun tag I created a while back and haven't had a chance to share using several different Paper Smooches sets:

I made the trees using the triangle stamp from Hullabaloo, the stars are from Warm Hearts, and the sentiment is from All Yule Need. The tag was cut with a My Creative Time Die, and I added some May Arts chevron ribbon and jute twine with a star stick pin to finish it off.

Here are all the details on the challenge:

Hey there everyone!  It is getting busier and busier around here with all of the holiday festivities looming!  Remember, this months challenge an easy one, so lets see your crafting goodness!

Each month we are giving away a Ribbon Carousel to one of our randomly chosen challenge participants!

Just a reminder that our Ribbon Carousel Crewmates have divided up into FOUR teams. Each week you will see fresh projects for this month's challenge!

There are only three (3) rules you must follow to be eligible for the prize:

  1. You MUST use ribbon, twine, thread, washi tape or anything that comes on a spool on your creation
  2. Your project must be based on the theme of the month.
  3. You must add a NEW project to the INLINKZ HERE and link directly back to your project on your blog or online gallery. (Unfortunately, we've had participants who would have won the challenge, but they didn't do a direct link to their blog and I couldn't find their creation!)

SPS December Hop - Tag Challenge

Good morning - and Happy December! Can't believe that it is already here! But it is time for the December Shop Pumpkin Spice Hop and new weekly challenge! You should have landed here from Saundra - if you just happened along, the entire blog hop line-up is at the bottom of this post.

The new challenge theme is "Tags" - so I put together a cut using a tag and a Paper Smooches image:

My pattern paper is from Echo Parks Very Merry Christmas Collection - the 6x6 paper pad. I used some Bazzil White cardstock to cut my tag with a Paper Smooches die. Woodgrain paper is from Avery Elle.

I used the Enchanted Elf set from Paper Smooches and stamped it off the edge of the tag, then glittered it up with my Spica Glitter pen. Stamped the sentiment with red MFT ink. Finished off with some pretty red May Arts ribbon, some jute twine, and some tiny jingle bells - LOVE those for cards!

I am also linking this up with the current Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge - one of my favorites! I'm excited to be able to play along still, even though my Design Team term is over!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Foxy Christmas Greeting Tag

Good morning! Popping in today with a quick Christmas tag for Unity Friends with Flair, and the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist challenge at Ellen Hutson.

I used the new Foxy Christmas stamp from Unity - fell in LOVE with it the minute I saw it - and just had to get it! I have kind of been in love with foxes lately - one trend that I just adore right now! I stamped the image and sentiment with MFT inks, then added some strips of washi tape, inked the edges with distress ink, and tied the top with some chevron ribbon and jute twine. The tag was cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

For the tag challenge, you were supposed to pick a tag as inspiration - I used THIS one by Julie Ebersole. I pulled the sequins, the gold, and the glittery stripes, as well as the soft color scheme from it. Obviously I took a bit of liberty with it, but I loved that tag!

I am also linking this up with CAS-ual Friday's Out on a Limb challenge (see the log and branches?)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!!!
