Grateful Roses - Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit

 Hello! I'm popping in to share my another card using the new July 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Flower Happy! This month's kit is full of lovely florals and images with a mix of happy and vintage flair. The included stamp set by the same name has some happy florals, and cute sentiments, there is a 3D embossing folder, pretty pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, embellishments, and more! 

This is another one of those cards that all happened because of the gorgeous pattern paper. I mean, really, sometimes it feels like the paper just does all the work for you, know what I mean? I did some torn edges along the gorgeous rose paper, and then backed it with some pick paper, on which I heat embossed my sentiment from the Flower Happy stamp set in the kit. I curled up the torn edges of the paper for some texture, and finished off with a few Gold Glitter drops for some extra sparkle. So easy! Here are some more views and a closer look at this card:

Soft Strawberry Background - Simon Says Stamp Out of This World Release

Good morning! I'm popping in to share my first card using the BRAND NEW Out of this World Release from Simon Says Stamp. Once again I'm a bit later than I hoped to be posting this first one, but I'm going to blame summer. So many other things going on to slow things down, right? My first card is all soft colors and a girly romantic feel - it's Strawberry season where I live, so this embossing folder was perfect timing!

I embossed the new Strawberry Fields 3D embossing folder and die set on white cardstock (I didn't use the coordinating dies for this card), and then used my Pinkfresh 1/2" blending brushes (which are the perfect size for this embossing folder!) to add color to the background. I actually didn't use any extra inks, just used the leftover color that was left in each of the brushes. A great way to clean the brushes off, and also ensure a nice soft blend. I trimmed that panel down and mounted with foam on a cream cardbase for some soft contrast. Then I added a simple sentiment from another new set called Happy Icons trimmed that into a thin strip and backed it with some Gold Glitter paper for a bit of extra sparkle. Finished off with a few coordinating jewels sprinkled around the embossed background! Here is a closer look at the finished project!

I used the fun new Double Sided Swiss Dots hot foil plate (for now, exclusive to SB dot com) and paired it with the Solid Hot Foil plate to get a solid and reverse image. I also used the Stitched Scallop Circles die from coordinating gold cardstock to add some interest to both designs. Then I embellished with Tuberose and Artistic Dahlia washi tapes, and Foiled Sentiments to make these cards super easy! Here is a closer look at both of these cards - and lots of photos:

Happy Just Because Florals - Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the new July 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Flower Happy! This month's kit is full of lovely florals and images with a mix of happy and vintage flair. The included stamp set by the same name has some happy florals, and cute sentiments, there is a 3D embossing folder, pretty pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, embellishments, and more! 

I stamped a mix of the flowers using SSS Pawsitively Saturated inks in Sweets, Sunbeam, and Pearfection on the lower right corner of a panel of white cardstock. I added the sentiment stamped in black, then trimmed the panel down a bit and rounded one corner. I mounted that with foam on a cardbase created with some of the Cream cardstock in the kit, also rounding the same corner. Finished off with a few sparkly Glacier Jewels clustered around the sentiment! Here are more photos for you:

Delicate Foliage Slimline - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created recently for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. I had fun mixing and matching some different products from newer and older releases on this card! I hot foiled the Delicate Foliage set, then colored with the layering stencils in aqua and blue tones - such a fun color combo. I used the Slim Braided Circles die to create a base for my slimline card, over some soft aqua cardstock. I tucked the foliage in the top and bottom, and trimmed some excess off, then stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the set to coordinate, die cutting it out with the coordinating dies. I added a secondary sentiment, from the set, and then by popular vote in the live, we tucked on a couple butterflies from the Butterfly Garden stamp set from the same release. They were the perfect size! Also added a combo of sparkle using Sapphire Jewels, Iridescent Clear Drops, and Champagne Glitter Drops. Here are some more photos and a closer look:

Wonderful Summer Terrarium - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

I loved how the arches from Arch Backdrop worked to die cut the center of the Terrarium die from and add some detail around the edges. I used the Summer Blooms stencil and die set to fill the terrarium, added a textured background using the Elongated Lattice die, and finished off with a sentiment from the Delicate Foliage stamp set, cut out with the coordinating die!
