Hark the Newborn King - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Holiday Card Kit

Hello! I'm dropping by tonight to share a few cards that I created using the BRAND NEW Stamptember surprise - the Hark the Newborn King Card Kit. It is available as a pre-order, and will ship in mid to late October - so this is your chance to get it on pre-order! This is such a pretty collection, and so loaded with fun supplies to kick start your holiday cardmaking! I created this set of cards that were so super quick and easy to put together, featuring the beautiful stamp set in the kit - but there is so much more fun to be had in this kit!

I went for very clean and graphic designs - I thought some of the images and sentiments in the stamp set were so fun, I just wanted to focus on those. I stamped the background image on both cards with Sunbeam ink, then added the silhouette images and sentiments over the top in Versafine Onyx Black ink. I cut those panels with two sizes of Basic Rectangles dies, mounted with foam on white cardbases, then added a few Sparkling Clear sequins to finish them off. Here is a closer look at these cards:

Here is a look at this entire kit - you can check it out HERE for more info:

Branch Note Cards 2 Ways - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm popping in to share a 4 cards I created using the fun Fantastic Florals stamp and stencil set from Simon Says Stamp - using them in 2 different ways for each card design. I love the different variations!

For the first set of cards - I used the Fantastic Florals stamp set for both the outline, and the leaves - in more bold tones. The second set of cards, I heat embossed the stems in gold, then used the coordinating stencils to add color in softer tones. I also added gold splatters to those with my Starry Colors palette to those for some extra sparkle. I finished both cards in a similar way. I die cut with the coordinating dies, and then added a die cut border in two different ways along the bottom using Wavy Scallop Stitches die. Sentiments on all cards are a mix from Caring Thoughts and Etched Greetings stamp sets. I also tied a bit of jute twine to the bottom of each branch, and embellished with some Pinkfresh Glitter Drops.

Here are some photos of BOTH sets of cards - keep scrolling to see both versions!

Christmas Tree Trio - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm popping in to share a couple cards I created using a fun stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that I've been itching to break out and stamp. I had fun with some completely different color combos - one more traditional, and then a couple in some unexpected colors!

I used the Printmaking Pines set to stamp these fun layered trees. I stamped them on white cardstock using my MISTI - which made it super easy to stamp multiple cards together. I used Citrine, Peony, and Violet for the brightest one, Pearfection, Surf, and Pucker for the slightly more vintage feeling one, and then Sprout, Fairway, and Field for the more traditional tree colors. I die cut them with a Basic Rectangle die, and added some gold splatters with my Starry Colors palette. While that dried, I heat embossed sentiments from the stamp set in Antique Gold on black cardstock, and trimmed those down into strips. I added some strips of white cardstock to my cardbases, adhered at an angle, to add some texture and interest. Then I layered up thee panels and sentiments with foam adhesive, and finished off with a few Pinkfresh Gold glitter drops! Here are closer looks at each of these finished color options:

Believe How Strong - STAMPtember card with Pinkfresh Studio exclusive

Hello! I'm dropping by to share a card I created with the newest Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember exclusive - today is Pinkfresh...and you know that I'm excited to share this one! :) I also used some of the BRAND NEW Pinkfresh ink colors that are releasing in just over a week - so consider this a bonus sneak peek for those as well! I'll update this post with a link to the colors I used once they are available to order at 7am Central Time on Friday, September 29, 2023.

The month of STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp is full of special surprises and limited edition exclusives revealed throughout the month. As I already mentioned, today's release is a stamp, die, and stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio. Here is the card I created with this lovely new set:

While this stamp image is in the traditional one piece design for the two leafy images, I decided to cut those images apart. You don't have to be afraid to do that if it works for you! I didn't have the dies to work with for this set, so this made more sense for me. Even if you have the one piece die, you can still cut these apart, and use the die on each piece individually. And the stencils just work in two parts as well. I started by stamping the two images in gray ink on a panel of white cardstock, angling them at the top and bottom in a fun design. I then ink blended with the 2 piece layering stencils to add color, using different colors for different sections of the leaves. I used the first two shades of ink in four of the new colors families. The colors I used were Cherry Blossom, Peony, Sunkissed, Mimosa, Limoncello, Citron, Waterfall, and Turquoise. I then restamped over the top in Detail black ink, and stamped the sentiment. I die cut the panel with Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die, and mounted with foam adhesive over an aqua cardbase. I finished off with a few Clear Iridescent drops to make it sparkle! Here are some more photos of this finished card:

Fabulous Birthday Wishes - Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my another couple of cards using the new October 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Put Your Party Hats On! This month's kit is definitely birthday focused, but lots of super fun elements for any celebration! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images to stamp as well as some great sentiments, a fun embossing folderpretty pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, embellishments, and more!

For these cards, I focused on some of the pretty pattern paper in the kit, and the largest sentiment from the stamp set. I heat embossed that sentiment in gold on vellum, then tucked it under a piece of the pattern paper that I trimmed down to size, and added a bit of gold glitter cardstock as a border to. I mounted that paper with foam on the cardbase, and left the vellum floating free for an elegant and dimensional effect! And because it was so easy - I (of course!) - made two of them, using the same piece of pattern paper. Birthday cards are always so handy to have around I think! Here are some more photos of these finished cards:

Rainbow Half Wreath Cards - Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first cards using the new October 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Put Your Party Hats On! This month's kit is definitely birthday focused, but lots of super fun elements for any celebration! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images to stamp as well as some great sentiments, a fun embossing folderpretty pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, embellishments, and more!

My cards today use several items from the kit, but it definitely looks like the star of the show is this fabulous rainbow floral leaf that was on one of the pattern papers. I fussy cut it out, and it was clearly too big for one card - so why not make two as a set, right? I cut it cleanly in half, dividing roughly between the warmer and cooler colors, and then set them aside while prepping the rest of the card. I used the fun new Swiss Dots embossing folder in the kit for the background, on a panel slightly smaller than my white cardbase. I wrapped and tied some twine around the bottom portions of the wreaths, then adhered those with foam adhesive. Sentiments were heat embossed in white on black cardstock, then trimmed to a banner shape and mounted over top. Finished off with a few of the Rainbow Splash gem stickers around the sentiments to finish these off! Here are some more photos of these cards:
