Many Thanks Mushroom Shaker - Pretty Pink Posh September Release Blog Hop Day 2

Good morning! I'm so excited today to be joining Day 2 of the release blog hop for the September Pretty Pink Posh release. There are some of the CUTEST fall theme sets in this release - and I fell in love with the adorable mushrooms on the release as well! Keep reading for more details on my cards, as well as hop and giveaway info at the bottom!

I decided to pair up some of the darling mushrooms to create this cute and colorful shaker card!

I started off by creating a background using the Layered Mushroom stencils. I stenciled in fun bold colors on cream cardstock for a slightly different look, and added some white splatters for texture. Next, I pulled out the Mushroom shaker die, and cut once from matte gold cardstock, and once in the center of the stenciled panel to create a window for my shaker. I created the shaker element, and filled it with some of the adorable Fall Mushroom Clay confetti. Used a white cardbase to help the shaker filling pop, then added a die cut sentiment using the Many Thanks Shadow dies, cutting the main layer from white cardstock, and the shadow layer from vellum. Here are some more photos of this finished card:

Seeing Stars - Pretty Pink Posh 10th Birthday Blog Hop Day 5

Good morning! I'm so excited today to be joining Day 5 of the release blog hop for the 10th Birthday Pretty Pink Posh release. It's such a fun one, not surprisingly with a birthday theme - and I was super excited to play with all the cuteness included! Keep reading for more details on my cards, as well as hop and giveaway info at the bottom!

And since it's a birthday party, you know there have to be gifts, right? Use the code CELEBRATE10 to receive 10% off your order, and also check out the free gifts with qualifying orders:

I made a couple of very similar cards for the January release, but using the heart version of these two dies. I loved how they came out so much that I decided to keep a similar template for these cards - and switch up the colors to be a tad more masculine. I cut the Star Cover Plate die from white carstock, and used the main part to create a window shaker, filled with the fun Bright Rainbow Clay Confetti, and backed with some pattern paper to set the confetti off. I added a sentiment over the top, heat embossed in white on black cardstock from the new Sentiment Strips: Birthday stamp set, and die cut it with the previously released Sentiment Strips dies. Then for the second card, I used the Pierced Stars Plate die for the background. I ink blended the stars from the previous card in blues and sage greens, alternating the colors from soft to deeper. I layered them down with a mix of liquid glue and foam adhesive for dimension, and added a good splatter of gold with my Starry Colors palette. Finished off with another of those sentiments, hand trimmed into a banner on this one. Here are some more photos of these two cards:

Pretty Pink Posh January 2024 Release - Blog Hop Day 3

Good morning! I'm so excited today to be joining Day 3 of the release blog hop for the January Pretty Pink Posh release. It's such a fun one - and I was super excited to play with all the cuteness included! Keep reading for more details on my cards, as well as hop and giveaway info at the bottom!

This release is SOOO cute and fun! I mainly featured the new Heart Cover Plate die and Pierced Hearts Plate die - and added sentiments with Sentiment Strips: Valentine Stamp set, and some shaker filling with the new Sweetheart Shaker Beads and Valentine Hearts Clay Confetti.

First off, I created a shaker with the main piece using the Heart Coverplate die. I added some pattern paper behind it, then created individual shaker windows, so I could alternate the shaker fillings. I definitely had to use the adorable hearts that cut out of that background die - and I love that each one had a specific and fun design on it! I swiped each one with colored ink, then added some white and gold splatters for texture. I used the Pierced Hearts Plate die for a background, and then adhered all those hearts with a mix of liquid glue and foam adhesive. I heat embossed sentiments, and trimmed them into strips, then added those to both cards - also adding a twist of gold thread behind one sentiment. A few Metallic Gold Pearls finish these cards off! Here are lots more photos - keep reading for blog hop and giveaway info!

Lots of Love Heart Shaker - Pretty Pink Posh January Release Instagram Hop

Good morning! Today I'm celebrating the new January Release from Pretty Pink Posh by joining Day 3 of the Instagram Release Hop! You can head over to Instagram to join that hop, and enter to win today's giveaways, and you can find the new release HERE. I thought I would share more details here on my blog on my card - since it is always tough to put enough info in an Instagram post!

I always love the Pretty Pink Posh cover plates for shaker cards - they make it so easy, and there is all that space for lots of fun shaker elements! So I knew I had to create one with the super fun Love Hearts Die.

I think detailed dies like this are so pretty die cut from white. I wanted to give it a soft background to pop off of - so I used some Spellbinders Barely Peach cardstock for my cardbase.

I filled it with some of the adorable new Sweet Love Clay Confetti Mix. It took nearly an entire package of them for this shaker, but I wanted lots of filling, and sometimes a card is just worth it, don't you think? :)

I added the sentiment using the new Valentine Wreath stamp set - heat embossing them on black cardstock. Don't you love how that larger sentiment also has a coordinating detailed die? The second sentiment I simply hand trimmed into a banner shape.

Finally, I added a few of the new Bubblegum Pearls to embellish the centers of the flowers. I used a different size depending on the size of the flower. It is small detail, and not super noticeable, but I love how it is just a fun additional touch.

Holiday Greetings - Pretty Pink Posh September Release Instagram Hop

Good morning! Today I'm celebrating the new October Release from Pretty Pink Posh by joining Day 1 of the Instagram Release Hop! You can head over to Instagram to join that hop, and enter to win today's giveaways, and you can find the new release HERE. I thought I would share more details here on my blog on my card - since it is always tough to put enough info in an Instagram post!

First up - here are some details on this bright and happy shaker card using some of the fun embellishments in the Holiday Clay Confetti Wheel #5!

I also used the gorgeous new Poinsettia stencils, that are a perfect coordinating touch for the previously released Poinsettia stamp and die set! So fun and perfect to use together!

I stamped and stenciled each of the flowers and leaves, and die cut with the coordinating dies, so I could easily layer them all together in the corner of my shaker.

The shaker window was created with Stitched Diamonds die - love the elegant stitching effect it adds!

Finally, sentiment was added with the pretty Holiday Scripts stamp set and coordinating die for the larger word!

Love these happy colors too! Non-traditional color combos are some of my favorite - and add pink to Christmas cards, and it's pretty much going to be perfect!

The second card features a new and unreleased layering stencil, that is actually free with purchase of $125 or more through the end of the month. And it's a GOOD one! It will be released later, but if you want to get your hands on it sooner, this is your chance!

I mean, look at how pretty it is all stenciled together in those pretty color layers, right?!?

I layered up some smaller elements over that background - just because I didn't want to cover up too much of it!

First, the die cut new Elegant Poinsettia die in white under the new Winter Circles coordinating die. I attached it just under the circles, leaving the edges floating free for a touch of texture.

Next, I colored up an image from the new Christmas Candles stamp set, die cut it with the Coordinating dies, and heat embossed a sentiment from the set in white on a thin strip of black cardstock.

Layered all of those elements together, using as much foam adhesive as I could, and thin layers of scrap cardstock under others for a slightly lesser amount of dimension.

Finished off this card by adding some of the new Metallic Silver Pearls in different sizes to key spots on the background design. That just moves the elegance factor up a notch, don't you think?!?

So - a fun shaker card:

And a beautiful stenciled background:

And lots of new goodies put to good use! What are you looking forward to trying from the new release?
