Happy Birthday Candle

Good morning! I know I posted a bunch of stuff already this morning - but I have at least one more I want to add! Here it is:
This is for the brand new challenge over at the Twinery - Polka Dots:

I used Mister Huey's white mist to make my "polka dot" background. Sprayed it on a kraft cardbase, and gave it lots of time to dry.
Next, I die cut a lacy circle with a Lifestyle Crafts Die using PTI Rustic White cardstock and attached it with foam adhesive to my card base.
I found a white candle in my stash, and tied two strands of pretty Pink Sorbet baker's twine in a bow around it, before attaching that to my card.
Finished off with a sentiment from Paper Smooches!
Thanks for letting me share once again today!

PS SPARKS Challenge - Monkey Love

Hello again! Here with my third Challenge card - this one for this weeks Paper Smooches SPARKS  Cool Shades Challenge
Can't help but LOVE this fun color combo this week!

I used the super cute Love Monkey stamp, and stamped it with distress ink on some pretty pattern paper from my stash.
I layered my pattern paper on the bottom, then die cut the word "love" using one of the new Paper Smooches Dies, adhered it to the card, and then covered it with Glossy Accents.
Added some splashes of color with my Mister Huey's mist, wrapped some jute twine around and tied a bow, then attached that entire panel with foam adhesive to a kraft paper card base.
Awww...these colors make me so happy! Thanks for stopping by! Have a lovely day!

MCT Designer Embossing Challenge

Good morning again! I'm back with my second challenge card - this one for the Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time - Embossing.
I used one of the brand new adorable mini set that I won from the last designer challenge, To My Best Peep
Papers are by We R Memory Keepers. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the lacy edge, then embossed it with my Cuttlebug.
Added some jute twine tied in a bow, some self adhesive pearls for the bunnies "tails" and attached them with foam adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by again!

Peachy Sketch Challenge

Good morning! Catching up today on a few challenges - before it is too late! This first one is for this weeks Peachy Keen Challenge
Here is the sketch for the week:

I used some papers from We R Memory Keepers that I picked up at Michael's last week when we went to Salt Lake City.
I used the Peachy Keen Stamp Set called Fairy Mini Set
The banner is hand trimmed, added a touch of Copic marker for the cheeks, and inked the edges of everything with distress ink.
Thanks for stopping by!

Shop Pumpkin Spice - Just a Note

Good morning! Today is my day to share over at Shop Pumpkin Spice - and I put together a fun card with lots of My Mind's Eye Indie Chic pattern paper for you today:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out this cute file from the online store.
My pattern papers are all from the Indie Chic "Ginger" line - love how well they blend together!
I mounted both the fence and the kitties with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.
I used a sentiment from Paper Smooches, and tucked just a bit of washi tape from the same MME Indie Chic collection on the left hand side of the card to balance the sentiment.
Finished off with a bit of bling, and some jute twine tied in a bow.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your week is off to a great start!

White on White - with a *tiny* bit of red!

Hello! Another quick post - this one for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - White on White. I did mostly white - but ended up adding a splash of red! Not sure if that qualifies still or not - but I'm going to link it up just in case!
I went with white, and a little gray ink to stamp the woodgrain background, sentiment, and typewriter from my brand new Unity February Kit of the Month.
I hand cut out the typewriter...then couldn't resist stamping the "hello friend" in red ink.
I then attached the typewriter with foam adhesive - for a tiny bit of dimension.
Then...it felt like it needed a tiny bit more red, so I added a couple splashes of Mister Huey's on there...now I'm not so sure - it almost looks like I bled all over my card!
What do you think - is the red good? Or does it just look like I hurt myself while making this card?

Hello Friend - PDC Color Challenge

Hello! I'm here to quickly post a card for this weeks Play Date Cafe Challenge
LOVE this weeks color scheme! Pretty, isn't it?

I started off with some pattern paper from We R Memory Keepers (isn't it PERFECT for the color scheme?) and using my brand new Unity February Kit of the Month, stamped the ink jar and pen image, as well as the "hello friend" in the bottom. The rest was just part of the paper!
I inked the edges with distress ink, and added a little jute twine bow.
I added Glossy Accents to the jar - this picture shows it a little bit better:
The background is the flower image from the same Unity KOTM, I just stamped it on my kraft card base so it hung over the edges, then inked the edges with distress ink.
Finished off by attaching the center panel with foam adhesive.
