As usual...I have lots of cards to share with you today! Starting off with this happy rainbow:
I used a bright rainbow of Pinkfresh's dye inks and used my MISTI to line them all up. Then, I put them all together again and stamped over the top with clear embossing ink, sprinkled with glitter embossing powder, and heat embossed the entire thing.
Can you see all that sparkle? I also layered some glitter cardstock cut with the
Color Block Rainbow Die from the previous release over the top - and it fit perfectly! Isn't that fun? Sentiment was added with
Simply Sentiments: Hello with Black Detail Ink.
Next up - I love the bright and groovy color combo on this card!
This card uses the fun
Pop Out Diagonal Stripes, and I used just a selected number of the stripes, leaving the ends off, and stamping each color in pairs.
Next, I stamped the huge sentiment from
Hugs and Good Vibes with Black Detail ink using my MISTI, left it lined up and stamped over it again with clear embossing ink, then heat set with clear ink.
Finally, I added some black splatters using Licorice Liquid watercolors, and a black bow using
Artistic Bows Die.
Can you see the shine on this from the heat embossing?
Next up, I used the new
Pop Out Sunburst stamp set a couple different ways - and we will be working on all these cards a bit in today's Facebook Live!
This first trio shows stamping with our beautiful liquid watercolors - I can't wait to share this technique with you! I actually colored the stamp up once with watercolors, then misted with water 3 times to get varying depths of color in different impressions. I then finished them off in a variety of different ways.
This card was the first and deepest color impression. I die cut it with the coordinating
Pop Out Sunburst Die, then popped up each panel on foam adhesive on my cardbase and added a sentiment.
This one was the second impression, and a bit lighter than the first one. This one I die cut with
Essentials: Ornate Banner Dies then heat embossed a large sentiment over the top with Detail Black ink, then stamped again with embossing ink and used that same clear sparkly embossing powder. A few jewels, and then popped it up on a white cardbase.
And finally, this is the third impression - and this one has the softest most "watercolor" feel of them all to me! I added some gold splatter to this one, stamped another large sentiment over the top, and finished off with a few jewels before popping it up with foam on a white cardbase.
I love this method of getting several cards from one bit of effort! And each one is unique thanks to the way watercolors move and work differently every time.
The other card we will be making live is this one showing how to pop out individual elements and stamp them using a soft color palette of dye inks, then layering over the coordinating die. Pop by the live video today to see more!
