Brave Hippo - Pretty Pink Posh June Release Blog Hop

Good morning! I'm stopping by today with sweet little card to celebrate the BRAND NEW June Release from Pretty Pink Posh (also available in a bundle HERE if you just want it all!)! This fun new release is full of adorable jungle theme cuteness - inspired partly by Paulina's little baby, Zion! Keep reading for more info, details on my card I'm sharing today, AND of course, some giveaway info at the bottom as well!

I fell in LOVE with the adorable hippo from Jungle Additions stamp set the minute I spotted him in the release - so I knew that was going to be the critter on my first card with the release!

I stamped him at the bottom of my cardbase, and colored him in with Copics, also adding color underneath to "ground" the image.

I added a sentiment using a combination of Simple Sayings: Brave stamp set, and Simply Sentiments Stamp Set - a fabulous set of thin small sentiments that I LOVE so very much as well!

I also loved the fun Stitched Leafy Borders dies - and wanted to use them all! So I die cut them all from white cardstock, blending different colors of Distress Oxide over them to add color and added some white paint splatters and gold splatters with my Starry Colors palette. I then cut each one in half and layered them coming down from the top of my card. Once I adhered them down, I turned the card over and trimmed off any excess leaves so that it all fit on my cardfront.

Finished off with lots of sparkly jewels from the Citrus Jewels Mix pack - the colors were perfect for my card, and took all the guesswork out of coordinating them together!

Home Sweet Home Shaker - Simon Says Stamp July 2020 Card Kit

Hello! I'm stopping by to share my first card created with the BRAND NEW July Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Home Sweet Home! This kit is such a fun kit at a time when many of us have been spending lots of time at home! The included stamp set by the same name has a lovely and versatile cityscape, and is and filled with fabulous sentiments, there is some fabulous pattern paper,  fun die set - not to mention the Cardstock, stickers, and more!

Today I'm sharing a simple and fun offset shaker design using the kit!

Here is the video sharing how this card came together:

I used a clear card sleeve to create this shaker element - but use what you have on hand. Stamp packaging works well, even a decent zip lock bag would be fine!

It's so fun to have a shaker go right up to the edge of the card - in this case, creating a semi-circle. Kind of makes me think of a snowglobe!

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can find all the details HERE:

What's your favorite part of this kit?

Evelin T Release Week - Day 4

Good morning! Today is the day! The new release from Evelin T Designs is live and ready to shop - you can find the new release HERE! Check out the Evelin T Designs Blog for more info!

Here is my card to share for today using Life is Beautiful - one of the new sets releasing today!

I loved all the darling little plan images, and thought they would be perfect to create a simple little shaker card.

I colored one of the little rows of plants with Copic markers, then carefully fussy cut out the image.

I created my shaker element using a die from Simon Says Stamp, filled with pretty sparkly circle confetti from Pretty Pink Posh, and tucked the row of plants under the bottom edge of the window.

I finished off by adding the sentiment underneath, then added Glossy Accents on the pots, and sparkly Nuvo drops on the plants for added sparkle.

And...just for fun, you can also get this super cute little die for free with any $25 purchase while supplies last!

As usual...I have lots of cards to share with you today! Starting off with this happy rainbow:

I love how fun it is to stamp out a rainbow using the fun new Pop Out Rainbow Cling Stamp!

I used a bright rainbow of Pinkfresh's dye inks and used my MISTI to line them all up. Then, I put them all together again and stamped over the top with clear embossing ink, sprinkled with glitter embossing powder, and heat embossed the entire thing.

Can you see all that sparkle? I also layered some glitter cardstock cut with the Color Block Rainbow Die from the previous release over the top - and it fit perfectly! Isn't that fun? Sentiment was added with Simply Sentiments: Hello with Black Detail Ink.

Next up - I love the bright and groovy color combo on this card!

This card uses the fun Pop Out Diagonal Stripes, and I used just a selected number of the stripes, leaving the ends off, and stamping each color in pairs.

Next, I stamped the huge sentiment from Hugs and Good Vibes with Black Detail ink using my MISTI, left it lined up and stamped over it again with clear embossing ink, then heat set with clear ink.

Finally, I added some black splatters using Licorice Liquid watercolors, and a black bow using Artistic Bows Die.

Can you see the shine on this from the heat embossing?

Next up, I used the new Pop Out Sunburst stamp set a couple different ways - and we will be working on all these cards a bit in today's Facebook Live!

This first trio shows stamping with our beautiful liquid watercolors - I can't wait to share this technique with you! I actually colored the stamp up once with watercolors, then misted with water 3 times to get varying depths of color in different impressions. I then finished them off in a variety of different ways.

This card was the first and deepest color impression. I die cut it with the coordinating Pop Out Sunburst Die, then popped up each panel on foam adhesive on my cardbase and added a sentiment.

This one was the second impression, and a bit lighter than the first one. This one I die cut with Essentials: Ornate Banner Dies then heat embossed a large sentiment over the top with Detail Black ink, then stamped again with embossing ink and used that same clear sparkly embossing powder. A few jewels, and then popped it up on a white cardbase.

And finally, this is the third impression - and this one has the softest most "watercolor" feel of them all to me! I added some gold splatter to this one, stamped another large sentiment over the top, and finished off with a few jewels before popping it up with foam on a white cardbase.

I love this method of getting several cards from one bit of effort! And each one is unique thanks to the way watercolors move and work differently every time.

The other card we will be making live is this one showing how to pop out individual elements and stamp them using a soft color palette of dye inks, then layering over the coordinating die. Pop by the live video today to see more!

Make sure and leave a comment before you leave for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Pinkfresh Studio! Evelin T Release Week - Day 3

Good morning! Today is Day 3 of sharing projects using the new release from Evelin T Designs! Check out the Evelin T Designs Blog for more info!

Today I combined images from two different sets to create a fun and simple shaker card!

I stamped the background image first - once on pattern paper, and once on white cardstock. I used my MISTI to line them up perfectly, so I could tuck the pattern paper behind and my window would line up just right (even though it is hard to see through all the shaker filling in this photo!).

Next, I added a few of the adorable little fishies from the other set we are sharing today, and stamped my sentiment on the front in a coordinating ink color with my interior pattern paper.

Finally, I assembled my shaker, filling it with lots of sparkly clear confetti. I may have even added a bit too much, but is that even possible? I'm not really sure!
