Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 5

Good morning! I'm super excited this month to be guest designing for Newton's Nook Designs - and this week I have the privilege of joining in with the new release! I am in love with all the darling images - and have been super impressed with the great quality. They stamp crisp and perfect every time! And...it's release day! So now is a great time to go shopping! ;-)


For today's card, I got to play with the smaller new set called Christmas Delivery:


I decided to play a little more with was to use the images, other than just coloring them in, so I stamped it on dark gray cardstock from Simon Says Stamp and heat embossed it in white, then added the image heat embossed in red. The front panel was cut with a Lil' Inker's stitched die, and I added some wonky machine stitching across the top, also attaching some sequins with it. Tucked a doily and some October Afternoon pattern paper behind it to finish off!

    I have to tell you, I didn't like seeing so much black on Christmas cards when the trend first started last year... now I LOVE the look - this looks FABULOUS Heather! That black/dark grey panel with the pets embossed in white on that pretty plaid paper (I have a 'thing' for plaids)... SWOON! ~ Meredith
