Warm Wishes Interactive Tag - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I have a Christmas tag to share, using a couple items from the recent Simon Says Stamp DieCember Release - another couple items I hadn't used yet, and one I particularly wanted to work with before Christmas was over! This tag also has a fun interactive element - scroll down to see the smaller tag tucked in the pocket!

I actually started off with a penl cut with Chunky A2 Scallop Rectangle dies, and stamped some fun images from the Jingle All the Way set. When I was done, I wasn't really happy with the layout, so I decided to trim it out with one of the dies in Layered Scallop Tags, partially die cutting, so it left the scallops at the top. I then cut the tag layer for behind it from Lipstick Red cardstock. Before I adhered it down, I decided it would be fun to make a pocket, and tuck in another little tag - so I adhered that panel with just foam strips on the side and bottom, and then created a smaller tag. I stamped with more images from the stamp set to make it super cute! I added the tag toppers, threaded on some White ribbon and either some Gold Cord or Gold String, tucking the little tag inside the pocket. Finally, I embellished the tree with some Sunbeam Dazzling gems! Here are more photos, showing the interactive element as well:

Nutcracker Christmas Duo - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I've got a few more Christmas projects to share, but hard to believe that Christmas is less than 2 weeks away already! I'm using a new stamp and die set from a recent Simon Says Stamp release that I hadn't had a chance to put to use yet! I have so many fond memories of taking my daughters to watch the nutcracker when they were younger - so when I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to create a card or two with it! I also recently ordered some beautiful pattern paper, and realized they would be a perfect pairing!

Also - did you see the brand new upcoming FREE class for Simon Says Stamp with Jennifer McGuire? There is a fabulously priced kit available HERE as well if you want to use the same supplies as Heidi and Jennifer will be using!

I started off by stamping in black and clear heat embossing the images from Nutcracker Christmas on panels of white cardstock. I stamped them slightly off the corner of the A2 panels, the used Basic Circles die to cut around to create partial circles. I cut another size up from Black cardstock to create a mat behind the image, and used a pink Copic marker to add just a *touch* of pink to their cheeks. I used a couple panels of pattern paper from the pretty Ink Drops Festive 6x6 paper pad, trimming slightly smaller than my cardfront, and offsetting to leave a small white border around two of the edges. I popped my partial circles up with foam adhesive, added stamped and die cut sentiments, and finished off with some Dazzling gems in Mandarin and Sprout for some sparkle! Here is a closer look at these finished cards:

Vintage Christmas Card Duo - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm still squeezing in a few more Christmas cards, and these ones using a fun set from a recent Simon Says Stamp release are giving me such fun vintage feelings!

I stamped out all the fun layered images from Warmth and Wonder, and die cut with the coordinating dies - I love all the possibilities with these layers! Then I arranged everything on panels cut with Wonky Rectangles, using a mix of foam and liquid adhesive. I then mounted those on Ivory cardbase, adding a bit of Lawn Fawn white twine on each one. I added sentiments from Holiday Duo and Holiday Trio 1 dies, as well as secondary sentiments from Peacebird, and finished off with a few Dazzling Gold gems. Here are more photos of these cards:

Just Sayin' Bird Shaker Card - Simon Says Stamp DieCember 2025 Release

Hello! I'm still going strong sharing projects with the NEW DieCember Release from Simon Says Stamp - and today is another die cutting focused card! It's also a shaker, just to bump the fun up another notch! :)

I die cut the cute little Classic Leaf Ring once each from Green Apple and Green Leaf cardstocks, layering them together offset for a fuller wreath shape. I also die cut the sweet little Flourish Bird from Audrey Blue and Peacock Teal cardstock, then assembled it and nestled it into that little wreath - it's so cute together! I created a shaker with the new Nested Stitched Ovals die, and filled it with the two new embellishment mixes - Moonlit Snow and Blue Frost, and backed it with some cardstock from the convenient new Card Fronts 2 pack. Sentiments are from the Reverse Just Sayin' Sentiment Strips, cut with the Slanted Rectangles EZ Strips die. Finally, that wreath felt like it needed a sweet little bow, so I pulled out the previously released Pretty Bows 2 die and some Ivory glitter cardstock, and then added a single Surf Dazzling Gem for the center. Here is a better look at this fun finished card:

Pastel Tree Card Duo - Simon Says Stamp DieCember 2025 Release

Good morning! I've got a set of cards today featuring a fun new large die from the NEW DieCember Release at Simon Says Stamp - these cards are very similar, but with a subtle difference. I love this color combo so much!

I used the Forest Background die for both of these cards, and a rainbow of Concord and 9th cardstock to put them together. You might notice that I skipped the top layer on the card on the left, and started both cards with the same color. So the card on the right has an extra layer of green on the bottom. I love how just this small twist makes them look slightly different and fun! I used a bit of tape to hold them together from the reverse side, and popped them up with foam adhesive on white cardbases. Sentiments are die cut using the new Just Sayin' die set, and then I added secondary sentiments from the stamp set, trimmed into small strips, and both mounted with foam adhesive. Finished off with a sprinkle of Dazzling Clear gems! Here is a closer look at each of these cards:

Wear Your Age Well - Simon Says Stamp DieCember 2025 Release

Hello! I've got another card to share today, using a few items from the NEW DieCember Release from Simon Says Stamp - and a kind of different-for-me color combo, paired with some fabulous pattern paper!

I actually started off with the main sentiment for this card - die cutting the Bouncy Happy Birthday die from Sunshine and Audrey cardstock - then I set out to find some pattern paper that it would look good on. That's not usually how I do that, but this ended up working out to be a fun and different combination for me, so I'm glad I did it this way! I ended up grabbing some Pinkfresh Lovely Lane pattern paper (the smaller paper pad is not available at SSS any longer, but the larger 12x12 is still there I noticed). I added a one of the Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangles behind the panel of patter paper to help it pop a bit from my Cream cardbase, and before attaching them together, I wrapped some White Faux Silk ribbon around and tied in a pretty bow. Finished off with a few Moonlit Snow embellishments, and a secondary sentiment from the Just Sayin' Sentiment Strips! Here are more photos of this card:
