Good evening! It's time for another Unity Design Team Hop! No new releases this week - and the same sale is continuing, so you still have a chance to take advantage of Angela's birthday sales! I played with one of the stamp sets that released last week - and paired it with this month's sentiment kit. I also have a Quick Tip Video sharing how I made my own background paper, then transformed it into 4 unique cards - here they are:
Here is that video - I had to speed it up pretty good to fit it all in a minute and a half - but it's pretty easy to see what's going on! I actually made all of these - start to finish - in about an hour, so I was pretty pleased!
Here are close ups of each of them - this one I just hand trimmed the banner shape:
Here it is in pink:
And in blue:
And finally, in yellow. The smudges on the corners were because I forgot to clean my mat off after the blue and ended up with a smudge in the first corner where I started. I decided to just go with it, and added a bit to the opposite corner to balance it out! No mistakes in art, right? :)
I matted them in a Mama Elephant scallop die cut in white, then adhered them to my kraft card bases. Love the bright springy colors of them all together!
Again - the same sales are continuing through the weekend - so don't miss the opportunity to go shopping!!!
Once again, there is no link up this week - but make sure and check out the Unity Show and Tell page, as Unity is going to start doing more fun things there! But don't forget to leave comments on the DT blogs as there are still going to be two winners of a Unity Prize pack!
Here are links to the rest of the DT - and links to the supplies I used on my card if you're interested! Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful day!!!
