Background 2 Ways Thank You Cards - Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper Release

Good morning! I'm stopping by to share a couple more cards using the NEW Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper Release! I love a good two for one design - and there is a fun new die from the release that is perfect for this!

I started off with the Mid Century Elemental Plate die, cutting it from white cardstock. I layered a piece of Press 'n Seal on the top of the die while running it through, which held all the tiny pieces in the die. I turned it over, added foam adhesive to each piece (the only really tedious part!), then laid my cardbase directly on top to pick up each of the pieces. The reverse one I used the negative space that it die cut, and adhered it directly on my cardbase. Both cardbases were created with Gina K Butterscotch cardstock. For the sentiment, I used the new Showboat Thank You die, cutting the main word from white cardstock, and the shadow layer from black cardstock. Secondary sentiment is from Frankly stamp set, hand trimmed into a tiny banner. Finished off with a few of the new Campfire Embellishment mix sequins for some sparkle! Here is a closer look at these two cards:

Elegant Floral Stripes - Simon Says Stamp Moments in Time Release

Good morning! Stopping by again today with a couple more cards using more of the BRAND NEW Moments in Time Release from Simon Says Stamp! For these cards, I used a technique that I demonstrated in a previous YouTube Live video - you can check it out HERE if you want to see it in action!

I used one of the large beautiful florals on the new Vintage Blooms stamp set to stamp directly on two corners of my card bases, then layered over strips of Gina K cardstock and restamped over the top to get a perfect crisp image over all the layers, and perfect alignment thanks to my MISTI. I stamped sentiments from the same set (isn't that a STUNNING font?) - then finished off with a few coordinating Dazzling Gems! Here are more photos of these finished cards:

You Are Loved Peeking Duck - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

Good morning! Today I have a fun little ducky shaker trio card using some supplies from the NEW You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp. I love the wonky, playful design - although in hindsight, I wish I could adjust the tilt on the far right ducky! But I also think, at the same time, that's it's kind of fun as well. What can I say - it's handmade, not perfect, right?

I started off by using the adorable little Peeking Duck die (the name on that one just cracks me up!) and cutting it 3 times from a panel of white cardstock. I created a shaker with each one using different colors of Gina K cardstock to back each shaker window. I filled them with tiny 3mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and added a repeating sentiment from the new Inside Greetings 1 stamp set. Finished off with some coordinating Enamel Dots and a bow of Iridescent white cord tied around the top! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Sparkling Floral Thank You - Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release

Hello! The BRAND NEW You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp has just dropped, and it's full of fun goodies! I'm popping in to share my first card using the new release - and it's a sparkly card that feels like spring!

For this card I started off by die cutting the new Flower Breeze die two times from a panel of white cardstock. I then created a backdrop by trimming down strips of Gina K cardstock and adhering them to a landscape white cardbase. I popped the die cut panel over the top with the Big Momma foam adhesive for subtle dimension, and it let all that amazing color pop through the windows from the die cut! I added the sentiment from the fabulous new With Thanks set, and then went crazy with some Dazzling Gems in Dusk, Peach, Butter, and Sprout - adhering them in the centers of each of the flowers that are visible. That was really the touch that made this card complete! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Cutest Little Corgi - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I recently received an order of some various supplies from Simon Says Stamp - one of which was this ADORABLE little Corgi die that I couldn't wait to play with! Are they not the CUTEST dogs ever?!?

First off, I die cut the adorable Lil Critters Corgi from Gina K Butterscotch cardstock, Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust glitter cardstock, and Slate Gray (for the eyes and nose). I pieced it together, using a bit of tape on the backside to hold it all together. For the top detail on the card, I used the Detail Pincushion plate die on white cardstock, trimmed it down a bit, and backed it with some Gina K Blue Sky cardstock, leaving a bit extra poking out of the border. I wrapped a bit of May Arts Ivory twine around and tied in a bow, added sentiments from an older (and hilarious!) set called Inside and Out Sayings, and attached the cute pup with foam adhesive! Here are more photos of this finished card:
